highly recommended...very professional, flexible and most importantly honest. not the kind that you come across many a times trying to over charge and deliver sub par. Rob and John made a mistake but they realized it without us pushing them too hard, spend more than double the amount of time and fixed the issue to our satisfaction and didn't try to over charge us. They worked on fixing the bard door alignment, fixed a beam to hang a heavy swing and cocking in the kitchen and bath. Cocking job was really professional.

On Guard Handymen recently painted the whole interior of my home and garage. Rob and John's attention to detail, not only in painting, but in preparing the walls and woodwork resulted in an excellent outcome. They honored their original quote despite going above and beyond. They did a superb job and I still marvel at what an improvement their hard work made. Each day Rob updated me to let me know when he/they would arrive the next day so I was able to arrange my schedule. I had no qualms about leaving them here when I had to leave for an appointment. They cleaned up before they finished every day and left everything tidier than it was before they began. They replied immediately to any questions or comments. John and Rob were a pleasure to work with from our first meeting until the job was finished. They are conscientious, honest and very personable. I would not hesitate to hire them again!

They have also fixed water leaks above the front door, replaced the door to the basement crawl space and installed concrete around the crawl space entrance to prevent rain water from getting into the crawl space. They do just about everything, and are reasonable and responsive. Will use them again.
