The spring above one of our garage doors broke. Greg Turner was able to come out the same day and replace the spring so we could get our car out. Service was prompt, professional, and courteous.

I just told him what I wanted and they just gave me a phone quote. They did not come out.

They showed up on time. They did what I asked. The price was fine. I've never had any problem with them. They got back to me right on time. Professionalism was fine. There was no problem. I've used them before.

Went very well. From the initial call to the completion of the installation. Holly took the order and was very knowledgeable and asked all the right questions, guiding me through what was needed. She didn't try to oversell us an opener more powerful than we needed either. The springs were the immediate problem, but the old screw drive opener we wanted replaced since we bought the house and figured now was the time. Jeff came out earlier than the expected window by 30 minutes and set right to work getting the springs replaced and the new opener installed. He took care to explain everything to me about how it worked and what to look for. Additionally he showed me what maintenance I needed to be doing on the door itself as homeowner. Both Holly and Jeff were very friendly. I highly recommend them and would use them again without reservation.

Okay, I'll cop to it. I ran into my garage door while it was closed. Sigh. I made what I was sure to be an embarrassing phone call to Graves and was greeted with a pleasant staff member who assured me she receives calls like mine everyday. She set me up with a salesman who called promptly to make an appointment to come out and inspect the damage. He arrived on time a few days later and explained to me my options for replacement doors. As this was not a planned expense he worked with me to find something that would work within in my budget. He didn't try to up sale me fancy decorative doors, or new garage door openers, and all the other equipment that goes with them, which I greatly appreciated. He assured me everything I had would work just fine, and that all I needed were new doors. I received a written quote a few days later and after putting down half we scheduled a install date. I was a bit disappointed to have to wait an additional week for my doors (3 total) but this happened right before Christmas so they were unable to get the doors any sooner. Note to self - do not run into garage doors, especially during the holiday season. Other than being an hour late due to fantastic Atlanta traffic, the installer was great. I was surprised he was the only one sent out, but he had the job done within 4 hours and the doors work perfectly and they look wonderful. He was very professional and answered all of my questions. We have gotten many compliments from neighbors on the doors, and I am very happy with the quality. I purchased doors that were just one step up from the basic model and they are keeping my garage so much warmer than my old doors (original to my house from 1994). My son's room which sits above the garage is much warmer as a result. This was a great investment, one that I did not plan on, but I am glad we went with the doors that the salesman recommended. This was a great experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Graves to anyone needing to get garage doors replaced.

Late yesterday (Sunday), one of the torsion springs on my garage door snapped. I was not able to open the door manually. I called Graves first thing in the morning and their technician Jeff was at my home by noon. He had the correct parts on his truck and replaced both springs within an hour. The charge was exactly as quoted over the phone, including a 10% senior discount.

Over the weekend the torsion spring broke on one of our garage doors. We were not able to lift it because it is one of those heavy steel insulated doors. My husband had to get his car out for a business trip today, so I called first thing this morning and Rick said they would fit us in before noon. Nick was here around 9 or 9:30! We appreciate such fast response when we weren't even on their schedule for today. Nick did a great job replacing spring and he inspected and serviced both doors while he was here. For sure will call them next time we need garage door assistance.

I called up at the last minute but Holly the scheduling person was able to work me in. They arrived on time and did an awesome job. The price too was very affordable. Would definitely recommend them to my family and friends.

When they came out to give an estimate, Dave did an excellent job educating me on the different options available. Unlike the other company we met with, he spent time with us and seemed truly interested in helping us make the best selection for our home. The new door was installed while we were out of town- couldn't be more pleased with our expereince.

My garage door would not close all the way. When my husband got home, he tried to fix it but it didn't work - the door was now stuck shut! I was in a panic because I needed to leave for work the next morning and wouldn't be able to get my car out. I called Graves after hours number and the lady offered to send someone out that night however there would be an extra fee. She offered the 2nd option of having a repair man come first thing in the morning for regular cost - I decided to go this route. About an hour later the repair man called and explained that his schedule was full but could come super early (6am) in order to fit me in. This was fine with me since I would be able to get to work at my normal time. He came out the next morning and had my door fixed in about 30 minutes. I highly recommend Graves since they went out of the way to accommodate my schedule and make sure I could leave for work on time. They were very professional and responsive.

great experience, 1-2-3 and done......

We had a cable that was wrapped around the torsion rod of one garage door. The door would not open and close properly. We had used Graves Overhead a couple of years ago for our basement garage door and were more than pleased with their work, so naturally, we called Graves for this job. The company manages to be professional yet friendly - and more than competent. We were able to purchase a maintenance package so both doors were serviced while Robby was here. Again, not disappointed with any aspect of the service!

The work was fine and now it is out of my hair which is good.

The garage doors look great, insulate well and the new openers are super quiet as promised. Mark Steel was the sales guy and he was on time for the appointment we set. I called three garage door companies that were rated well on Angie's List. One never called me back, one wanted to come give a quote during a four hour time window but Graves sets the initial appointment and shows up as scheduled. Mark gave me a few different options as far as styles and openers go. I gave the green light and gave my deposit. The doors were ready within the time-frame promised. The installer (just one guy surprisingly) came out and had the installation knocked out in about three hours. He did a fantastic job, was very nice, cleaned up, and programmed the remotes. There were no wire insulation pieces, spare bolts or anything else left on the ground. He even wiped the doors down to remove any smudges left from the install. He also took the time to show me how to program the coded keypad outside the house and go over how to maintain the doors and springs. The incorrect wall switches came in with the openers - I ordered the ones that come on via a motion sensor which is an excellent feature. Mark and the owners were great about following up until the correct switches came in and got them installed quickly.

Jeff was very professional and a super nice guy. He came in and immediately diagnosed the problem. He saved me $60 on a couple of door controls that I thought I needed. He pointed out that I was using my current ones incorrectly. Jeff was in and out in a very short amount of time and my garage doors work for the first time since I've lived in this house!!!

My garage door was in pieces, stacked up on the floor of the garage. One of the tension Cables had broken causing severe damage to the Roller Tracks and some of the hinges and other hardware. The double door has hanging to one side and was completely jammed. Of course this all had to happen on a Friday night. I had to take the door apart just to get in and out of the garage (This was difficult and dangerous but I had to do it but would NOT recommend this to anyone without experience). Work schedule didn't allow me to call Graves until Monday afternoon. Tuesday morning Jeff and Shannon show up and in less than two hours my garage door was as good as new! They replaced the cables, damaged hinges and straighten the bent roller tracks as well as a general service and safety inspection. I had an Angie's List Discount coupon from Graves, but I would have felt guilty using it. These folks did an exceptional job for an exceptional price. Sooner or later I will need an new overhead door. I certainly know who to call when I do - Graves Overhead Doors. If you want reliable and trustworthy service with integrity - call these guys!

Thought I had 2 bad door openers, but turned out problem wasn't door openers but the way the builder installed the track. Graves fixed problem on both doors for 135.00 and they are working perfectly now. Wished I had called Graves sooner as it would have saved me the time/money of my DIY effort! Doors openers are now working like new thanks to Jeff at Graves.

Courteous, knowledgeable, punctual, excellent work quality. We could not be happier with our experience with Graves. The damage they repaired resulted from a painting company failing to do their job properly, so we were on edge about hiring yet another contractor. But, we were so pleased with Graves. We will hire them again - without hesitation. We highly recommend these folks.

They came out to service a very noisy overhead garage door. They did that, and offered the option of putting on a new spring while he was there, which I agreed to. Afterwards, he explained how I can do routine service and testing of it in the future. Very professionally done.

Both the installer and the service person were very professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend this company for either a new garage door purchase or maintenance/repairs of an existing one.

My double garage door suddenly refused to open and it was obvious the spring had broken. I found Graves on Angies List and called them. At first they said they'd be at my home within 4 hours but then they called me and told me they could be at my home within a half hour. The serviceman, Joe, was very nice, very polite, very professional. He replaced the broken spring and serviced and lubed the door. The job took less than 45 minutes. From the time I picked up the phone to call them, less than an hour and a half had passed before the job was completed! Joe was pleased to accept a coupon from Angies List that took $25 off the price. I would absolutely call Graves again and would recommend them to anyone who needed this type of service.

We had backed into our door and wanted to get it fixed in preparation for painting. The tech looked things over and it turns out we did not need a repair. He did perform an overall service replaced springs, greased the doors, etc. and our doors operate much more smoothly now. He talked through everything with my husband and also gave us some things to watch for when painting the garage doors. We thought the service was really good and plan to continue to use them for any garage door needs.

It went Great, they came out the next day after we called and told us they needed to order the new springs, it took a day to get the parts and then they came out and installed the springs and seals. Chris Baker was our techician, he did an excellent job and we are very happy with the results.

The service was prompt and as promised. I was just moving in and the movers must have bent my garage door track. I was completely satisfied with the service / repair I received and would call them again should I have additional garage work needed.
