This is the fourth time I've used Exovations for various work on my house. Kevin, Josh and their crew did an excellent job. Very professional. They showed up and finished on time and performed the agreed upon work as well as a bit more at no charge. They do quality work for a reasonable price.

The paining of the door and trim was superb and Habir's paint crew is meticulous. However, the office and the installation crew need to work on their customer relations. I had phoned the office the day before the scheduled install of our door to find out the timeframe in which the install crew would arrive. I received no answer, no call back. The next morning, I did not know what time to expect the crew. When the crew arrived, customer friendliness was lacking and a quick review of the wrk to be done was not welcome. A bit of carelessness was exhibited but the actual installation was done well and with knowledge. We are very pleased with the end result and the quality of the door itself. Upon completion, the project manager arrived an hour earlier than the appointed time and had not phoned to let me know. He apologized for his early arrival and the lack of customer friendliness from the install crew.To be fair, I would hire the painters again.

(03/24/2010) We are hiring them to replace all the siding on our house. They were very professional and kind of had a corporate approach to the way they are set up. The guy came out and spent time talking to us about what we wanted to do. He made suggestions and gave us a quote in the time that they promised they would. UPDATE (05/03/2010) The job was outstanding thanks to the hardworking crew and the great assistance of the Salesman Kevin Deweese and the stellar Project Manager Josh Bailey. Exovations provided everything that they said that they would. We were very impressed with the quality of the work. The crew worked 12 hour days sometimes. Our project manager Josh was on site at least 1x daily if not twice. Any issues we had were addressed and resolved immediately. We were thoroughly impressed with this company and would high recommend them.

They did a very good and professional job as far as the bid goes. The came and measured and then gave me a price for what I wanted done.

The company was excellent. Always on time. They fixed anything they were asked to do. If one rep commited to doing something, any of the others would take care of it, even if it was not in the contract. I would use them again as they were great. They even talked me out of using lifetime paint as they explained that the gray color would fade and I would be wanting to repaint in 10 to 15 years. Best contactor we have ever had work for us.

My husband and I were extremely pleased with the process from start to finish. Adria was our initial contact and she was a pleasure to work with. She was very friendly and walked around our house with us initially to get a good idea of what we wanted before preparing the estimate. Since we knew that it would be several weeks before we would make any official decisions, we asked that she check in with us the following month. She did check in with us at that point and we appreciated how we never felt pressured while we took time to think through the colors that we might want. She even provided a very quick estimate update when I realized we'd forgotten to include our storage shed in the initial appointment. Once we were ready to move forward it all went very smoothly. Our next Exovations contact was with our project manager Tom who was just as helpful and responsive as Adria. He also did a thorough walk through before handling the paperwork. Tom has been very professional and prompt in all of our communications and coordinating efforts to work around the rain and cold. The crew also did a great job. There were even some details that we wouldn't have even thought that much about, but Tom and his crew saw a chance to enhance the house even more which I think just shows how thorough a job they do. In conclusion, even though we didn't think we were being that daring in our changes, we feel like we have a totally different house! It's beautiful!

The work turned out wonderful! They were able to save me a lot of money as orgnially another company indicated I needed to replace the entire windows. Exovations saved me about $1,200 to $1,400 because they were honest.

I was very pleased with the work they did. I thought they were very professional and their project manager was very good.

When I first looked into getting my siding replaced, I contact over a dozen of the top companies found here and on Kudzu.com. I asked each of them to come out, take measurements, and give me their best price to work on our home. After many conversations and reviewing all the quotes I received, one company stood out from the rest, Exovations. Terry Brooks was our salesman that talked me through the process. He answered all my questions and concerns to my satisfaction. Jim McCulloch was the project manager that facilitated the job. His attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure my satisfaction made the job go smoothly. The construction crew headed by Fabio was very professional and true craftsmen. The paint crew headed by Omar did a fantastic job and not only painted our entire home, but also repaired a cracked window pane. Here are some things that everyone should know before committing to any company: 1. Never accept a proposal from a company that wants money up front. Only agree to pay 100% upon completion. 2. Always get the work to be performed including brand names in writing when comparing proposals. 3. Always ask for a lien wavier upon payment. 4. Make sure the company is insured (min $1 Million) and call their agent for verification. Exovations passed these criteria and more with flying colors. The window replacement by Brian & Pete was great! They were very knowledgeable and competent in their field. Both always cleaned up before they left so you couldn't even tell they'd been in the room.

The salesman are very nice and not high pressure at all. I took his quote and he also sent me a reminder about a month later. At this time, I have not had my roof completed since it is not an urgent matter.

They were very professional. They had a job supervisor come everyday to come in and check on them. They came three times afterward to fix things that weren't quite the way I wanted them done. In the end I was very happy.

Terry, the estimator, came on time and provided an estimate that was followed up with an email confirmation and contract. Jim, the project manager, came on time and provided a written schedule of all work to be performed. The power wash guy showed up exactly when he said he would, the columns guy came on time and the painter stayed until he was finished. Jim came for a final walk through and marked some things to be tweaked which were promptly fixed.

I liked them because they showed up when they had said they would. They did what they had said they would do too, and when there was a small problem, they came and fixed it. Their price was a bit high but you get what you pay for, and they are very professional.

They did everything well and didn't ask for any money until it was completed and I was satisfied with it. They came out after I had the work done because one of the windows had gone off tilter. They sent a guy the next day to fix it for me. They are great.

The glass had leaked previously and been fixed. But the other company that did the work did a terrible job; it didn't look good. I asked Exovations to redo it. The project manager was very professional. They evaluated the job, got the measurements and ordered the glass. Once it was in, they had me pick out the paint for the trim, based on their recommendations. They also were able to match my exterior paint to touch up around the window on the outside of the house. It looks terrific.

We have used Exovations now for three exterior renovation projects, and have a fourth scheduled. They do good work. The crew chief stayed in touch with us throughout the process, from measuring and ordering through the final walkthrough. The window replacement took two days; when the work was running long the crew chief came out himself on the second day to assist. The contract specified that all the nosing on the windows was to be replaced. On one window, they did not replace it initially, but after I mentioned what was in the contract they went back and removed the old nosing and replaced it without question. I have no doubt that if I found an issue a week later and called Exovations, I would have someone out within 48 hours to fix the problem. They treat me, my family and my house with respect. I might be able to get a cheaper estimate on some of the work, but knowing that I can count on quality work done promptly and professionally more than makes their work worthwhile.

The company did a great job, on time and on budget. They were also very responsive to our schedule. Gregg Grossman, the foreman was frequently at the site and called several times to keep me up to date on the work being done. The initial contract did not include structural repairs. As soon as the damage was found, Gregg called and then met me at the site to clearly explain the problems and what was needed to restore the damage. Since Exovations uses different crews for siding replacement and structural repairs they had to shift some workers around but still did everything needed to complete the job.

I was very disapointed in my experience with exovations. To start, the salesman told me the cost to them on a door was $850, could buy the exact same door from the same supplier for $425. They replaced some rotted wood in an exterior wall and did not replace the insulation. They did not prime the hardi plank as they said they would. I was told that they used two coats of paint. I am going to have to check the paint thickness now to make sure they did this. They did not put flashing over my windows until I told them it was in the contract and I would not pay them until it was done. They put two of the gutter down spouts in the wrong location, and had to move them. Nails were left on the ground. They did not follow James Hardi or their own installation procedures. I don't believe they used the type of chaulk they said they would. They did not chaulk all the nail holes. All of the above problems I caught, not their production manager. They did seem to fix everything, but who knows???????
