Exovations has a wonderful system in place from quotation, to assigning a project manager, to material delivery to completion of the work. Neat and professional. Our project manager, Charlie, went out of his way to work with us. The original siding delivered didn't match our house. We worked with him to find the exact siding we wanted and he went and got it for us. On the final walk through day he was out there finishing up a bird box in the rain. That's dedication.
Our only suggestion to Exovations would be to have a complete, final invoice at walk through so correct payment is made the first time. We had two add ons to our original quote and the amount we paid at walk through differed from the actual balance. For some reason we had to get the check for the balance to them in a matter of hours for some sort of deadline so we ended up having to pay the balance with a credit card over the phone. Exovations can aleviate this problem by have a "final invoice" ready to go at walk through.

Project went very smooth.  Everyone showed up when scheduled and was very professional.  Quality of the job was great and the job was completed exactly when promised.  Katie Ward, Sales Consultant, and Jim McCulloch, Project Manager, were both great and very responsive.  I've used Exovations for two major jobs and had great experiences both times.

I was extremely nervous about hiring a contractor.  I had heard all of the horror stories from my cousin who had just had some major work done on his house.  I had started interviewing contractors.  Most of them did not impress me at all.  In fact, I was beginning to wonder if I would find one.  I had seen Exovations on Angies list and had them scheduled as the last one to give me a quote.  I guess that you might say that I saved the best for last!  Terry Brooks came out on time.  He was very knowledgable.  He actually listened to what I wanted and then made suggestions.  He explained the entire process to me as to how they operate when renovating a home.  At this point in time, I was covered up at work.  Terry had prepared my quote and contacted me as promised.  Being extremely busy at work, my time was limited.  Terry was very very accommodating.  When I received the quote, I was very impressed.  Most of the other contractors gave me things on notebook paper or hand written on cheesy stationary.  This was a professionally prepared quote.  You could see that a lot of work went into the quote as it was very detailed.  I remembered that Terry had told me that they may not be the lowest but they do the best work and stand behind everything 100%.  In reviewing the quote, they were a little bit higher but given the detail of the quote, I knew that they must have this down to a science.  I called Terry to let him know that I was choosing them for the job.  They asked for no money up front.  Most everyone else wanted half upfront and the remainder at the end.  Terry informed me that my project coordinator would be Jim McCulloch ( his much younger brother ).  Jim contacted me and set a time to meet to go over everything on the contract.  I was supposed to have chosen all of my colors and had them ready for the meeting.  Of course, I did not have any of that ready when I met Jim.  Jim showed up on time.  He had copies of everything to be done.  We went through every detail of the job.  At this time, my Uncle came over as he would be there when I was not able to due to work.  He is very particular about having work done and even he was impressed with everything that Jim was going over.  As for the colors, I had been given many suggestions from family members but none that really clicked.  Jim was very accommodating.  Finally, I told him what I wanted and asked what would he suggest.  Jim actually took the time to really help me choose the right colors.  Near the end of our meeting, Jim pulls out some paperwork, makes a few calls and then presents me with a schedule of when all the different work will be performed.  At this point, I was impressed.  Things started happening just as they had been scheduled.  I mean it was a detailed schedule.  The dumpster will be delivered on this date, materials this date, everything went as it was stated on that schedule.  In fact, they were able to get ahead of schedule and Jim called me to ask if it was okay to start the next phase ahead of schedule.  As my Uncle and I were watching the work being completed, we were amazed at how exceptional things were going.  Jim was always in touch with me and providing updates and making sure that I was satisfied.  He was coming by everyday inspecting everything and making sure that it was of the highest quality.  I was there when they were framing in the garage and was absolutely impressed with the craftsmanship!  Now, there is a word that you do not hear much anymore but I was quick to realize that I was getting some serious craftsmanship with this company.  The attention that they paid to every little detail was amazing.  For instance, all of the other contractors spoke of closing in the carport by framing the entire thing with 2 X 4's.  Exovations installed this huge support beam.  I remember commenting on it and Jim said that a large garage door needs proper support and when they do a job, they do it to last.  I had chosen plywood for the inside wall portion of the garage as it is a brick house and I wanted it to be durable for when I work on things in there.  They did a fantastic job.  They put lattice wood over the seams of the plywood and they coped all of the wood that met up with the moulding at the top of the carport - now a garage.  For those who do not know about coping moulding - it is being very detailed.  They replaced 13 windows and they went the extra mile and installed extra moulding to make it look 100% correct.  This was something that they did not have to do and that I would have never noticed.  The new columns are awesome and they were very careful in removing the old ones and installing the new ones.  They look awesome!  I remember Terry telling me that you are really going to be impressed when the columns go up.  The vinyl siding that they installed looks incredible.  I was over there and asked the installer - Greg about the space under the front 3 windows under the porch.  You would not believe what he was able to do with the material that they wrap the windows with, he made this awesome design by crimping it several different ways-again CRAFTSMANSHIP!.  Next to go up were the gutters - I love the the Leaf X gutters - no more cleaning out the gutters!  A big thanks to Terry and Jim for suggesting them - well worth the extra money!  I was not expecting much for a garage door.  I come home and there is this beautiful, very well insulated garage door.  It gets even better, they installed an awesome garage door opener with battery back-up.  The opener on the wall gives you the time and temp.  This door is so well insulated that there is not hardly any difference in the temp from the garage to the house.  You can't even hear cars going by and it is a busy street.  Now, going back to when I mentioned that Terry said they may be slightly higher than other contractors.  In reality, they are less expensive because you are getting superior quality products and CRAFTSMANSHIP!  I mentioned my cousin earlier.  He lives an hour away.  He was down after the job was completed.  He had Exovations give him a quote and over a few hundred dollars, he chose someone else and had nothing but problems.  He was looking at everything that Exovations had done and admitted that he had made a big mistake by not choosing them.  He has had to stay on his "contractor" to make things right and still has not gotten it completed 100%.  I remember there was an issue on how to do something off of the Sunroom. Due to some old previous construction, it was going to be extremely difficult to cover this real small area.   I made a comment as we were all standing around that I would be okay if they had to work around an area and I could keep it painted.  Jim spoke up without hesitation and said "absolutely not, this work is a reflection of myself and my company and it will be 100% perfect".  True to his word, they made it 100% perfect and it took extra time but they did it because they TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR WORK!   I have not received service this excellent in a long long time but Exovations provided it to me.  I want to say thank you to Terry & Jim who were there every step of the way and also to the entire crew - Greg, Josh, everyone!  For those of you reading this who watch Extreme Home Makeover and wish that Ty would come to your house for an extreme home make over, just pick up the phone and call Exovations.  Exovations is the extreme home make over for Georgia!  Now, they just need to start Innovations as I would like to have my bathroom remodeled - just a suttle hint to the owner.  Thanks for a Great Job!

We shopped several companies and decided on Exovations due to Angie's List Ratings, a neighbor's experience, and the competitive response in pricing due to Senior Management involvement. I would note that the Sales rep (Chad) did an outstanding job of explaining their product and process. From there, the Project Manager (Tony) took time with us to explain exactly what the timeline was and what to expect along the way. Tony is one of the few in this business who says what he means and means what he says. We had many questions, special requests along the way, and Tony was always available during this process to make sure that things were done right.
The end result definitely exceeded our expectations and after 19+ years, our house looks new again.
I would say that this is by far and away, our best experience with any construction trade vendor EVER.

They were fabulous. Everything was on schedule. It was perfect. They started and ended on time. The quote was the best quote I received. It was cheaper than the others. I felt more comfortable with the explanation of everything. They were responsive, punctual, and professional. I would use this provider again.

I already submitted a report via phone relating to just the estimate process, which was great. Terry Brooks came out and spent time with us talking about exactly what we wanted and then provided a detailed estimate. Jim McCulloch was assigned as our project manager. The worked started on time and the crew was exceptional; hard-working, very professional, and remarkably fast. Jim was very responsive to any questions we had throughout the process.  We actually ended up adding a couple of minor items during the work, and he was very conscious of our cost restrictions and willing to go over all available options with us. We couldn't be happier. They will definitely be our company of choice for any future work to be done on the exterior of our home.

We did hire Exovations to replace some doors and they did exterior painting. On the front door they had to rebuild the frame and they painted the exterior trim on the whole house. They did good quality work and they are very thorough. They were rather expensive but the quality of their work was well worth it. I would use them again and I highly recommend them.

I'm pleased with them.  They were very professional and on time.  They just did a really good job and they're very professional.  They knew what they were doing.  They had the right crew.  They had a different crew to paint and a different crew to do the siding.  Everybody seemed like they really had their act together and it looks fantastic now.  We love it.  The contractor was great.  He was very professional.  I never ever worried about those guys showing up on time or being respectful in the house.  Everything was great.

Our house needed a complete exterior renovation, pretty much everything except the roof, and we were starting to get overwhelmed with all the different aspects that needed to be looked into. We interviewed several contractors before deciding  to go with Exovations. Our decision was based on several factors. The first good impression was their punctuality. The representative that visited us, Joy Branch came exactly when when had agreed she would and was very professional. She was great in guiding us on what to get done and in giving us advice on topics we weren't too familiar with. She was never pushy, and was always very respectful and understanding of our concerns. She was very patient with our inquiries and decision process. She took very good notes on the work that the house needed and all the other things that we wanted to do and we made a second appointment to get together and discuss the overall price of the work.  A couple days later we met again and she brought her estimate. We were pleasantly surprised with the quote and decided to go ahead and hire Exovations.

Another thing that I really appreciated of Exovations was their formality in writing and signing their contract.  Other contractors gave us written estimates that could hardly qualified as such. Exovations not only provided us with a detailed itemized estimate, but also had a very well written legal contract that made us feel VERY comfortable in doing business with them. They also offered an amazing guarantee on their work, and they didn't require us to pay a penny up front.  The complete job would be paid up upon completion and no sooner. I was very pleased. At this point the only down side was that, due to their workload, they couldn't start the work as soon as we would've liked them to.

Soon after, Joy called me and informed me that our assigned project manager, Tony Fricks, would meet with me to discuss the schedule and other details. This was another great experience. Tony was right on time and did a review of all the items covered in the contract I had with Joy.  After this he gave me a detailed schedule with start date and finish date, and what work would be done when. His instructions were very useful.

A few weeks later, just when they said they would, the crew showed up and got to work. The whole crew was very professional as well, very nice and polite. Tony was in constant communication with us making sure we were happy. He even came over more than a couple of times upon request to do a walk through and make sure everything was looking like we expected it to look. I was very impressed when the crew would realize something needed to be done and would just go ahead and do it, because that's how you do things right. Our gutters were replaced completely although our contract only specified replacing the downspouts. A couple window sills were rotted and could not be painted that way.  Our contract did not include replacing the sills, but the crew decided to do it anyway. Also, they were not required to re-paint the interior of the house in the areas where the window installation affected the walls, but they did that regardless as well. Any incidents that occurred were taken care of immediately (for example, a little bit of paint was spilled on the carpet, an existing window was cracked, paint was slightly scratched. And all these incidents were reported to us and taken care of immediately.

The whole project was delivered right on time. Tony did a final walk through with us and made sure we were 100% satisfied with the work.

Thank you Joy and Tony for your excellent work and professionalism!

I would recommend Exovations in a heartbeat, and I would consider them my only option if I ever had to get any similar work done.

It's not very often that I make a recommendation for a company or a contractor I have used, but I found a great home improvement company that I'd like to recommend to anyone who needs the type of services I have identified above.  My wife and I are very happy with their products and the outstanding service they provided and I highly recommend them.  They really know how to take care of their customer which is hard to find these days.

I met with three or four different contractors to get estimates and an idea of the people I would be turning my home over to.  My sales consultant Joy impressed us right from the get go with her knowledge, professionalism, and understanding of what we wanted.  Joy made some excellent recommendations that I had not considered nor had any of the other vendors I had met.  She was never pushy and I felt she was genuinely interested in providing us the best value and  long term benefits of a home renovation when it came time to sell our home. I started out with the idea of only replacing my siding and ended up with new and bigger gutters, a badly needed replacement garage door, a new patio door that had rotted trim work on the outside, and new shutters and painted windows all around the house.

My project manager Jim came out to meet me shortly after and did a complete review of the proposed work and validated the materials necessary to complete the job.  Jim provided me with an implementation schedule that was adhered to except for a few days of a rain delay.  He worked with me on each request or question I had about the work and never came across as defensive or looking for a way not to comply.  In fact it was just the opposite, he typically did what we asked for and it usually meant doing more with no added expense.  I never got the standard "that is going to be extra" response from Jim or Joy.  The entire experience was a pleasure and the exterior of our home looks better today than it did when we moved in 16 years ago.

I would also like to mention that craftsmanship of the Excavations siding installers.  Every piece of siding was installed per manufacturers guidelines and they also went out of their way to make recommendation to maximize the appearance of the siding based on their years of installation experience.

We are very happy with the work Excavations did for us and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Our salesman, Chad Reis was informative and helpful from the get go. He was willing to do whatever it took to get our business and then when the Project mgr Tony Fricks came out to go over the job before it began, he answered our questions, walked us through what would be done and when and all this is in writing as well. We had a wonderful experience from the time the work began until it ended and think Tony and his crew did a wonderful job.

After consulting neighbors, Kudzu, Angie's List, and others, and having four companies give estimates, I hired Exovations. Their price was the highest, but I felt most comfortable with them as a large company compared to the only other painter with which I felt comfortable - an individual. Throughout it all, Exovations was professional and communicated in a timely manner. And their Web site is thorough, even allowing me to use PayPal. The crew worked very hard for hours and hours. They finished on time.
I hear every job like this has a punch list. Ours did, too. However, I feel some items should not have been on the punch list in the first place. They include sanding and repainting areas where old paint was flaking, replacing a cornice because the repair job they did looked terrible, and cleaning window panes after making them dirty in the normal course of work. This last item was especially disappointing. The outside window panes of the house were clean when Exovations arrived. They did not clean them when done. Nor would they clean them when asked on the punch list, saying they don't clean windows.
Speaking of windows, Exovations did not clean the storm windows or the opposite windows even though that was in the contract. When given this on the punch list, the end result was that they cleaned the windows badly. I had to show them the bad work, have them try again, and even give them my own window cleaning gear because theirs was not effective.
Finally, there are the little things that the project manager said I was "pretty particular" about but for which I disagree. Examples include the following, which make me wonder whether to recommend Exovations to others: You know how you paint in a gap between two pieces of wood that aren't flush with one another by painting thicker than on the surface? Exovations didn't. When presented with ground cover, do you try to avoid stepping on the plants as much as possible? Exovations didn't.
Follow-up to provider's response:
The same day the company responded here, a construction manager called to look at things with me. When he came over, he agreed with everything I said, saying it all should have been done in the first place, and scheduled a day to fix it all. He also said if my plants die, they will replace them. Their follow-up work was to sand and paint two areas where they had simply painted over flaking paint, to clean storm windows per the original contract, and to clean window panes they made dirty in the normal course of work (he said they should always completely clean windows they work with). After their follow-up work, the flaking areas still show old flakes, but not as bad. They did paint over them thick enough to cover them adequately. The flaking isn?t as bad, but it obviously was not sanded smooth. All the storm windows but one are now clean, with the one not clean having been worked on, but not well. All the window panes were cleaned well. I thought I would receive a follow-up phone call after this, but didn?t. After talking with numerous homeowners, I conclude my original review and ratings should stand as is.

October 6, 2011 Member – We are extremely disappointed to hear that you are still unsatisfied. All indications were that you were happy with the touch ups. What is puzzling to us is that you choose to communicate through your reviews. If you are still not happy, we will come back and make sure you are happy with our work. I liked their customer service.  They really kept me abreast of what was going on each day.  Most of the deck was finished.  We didn't contract to have it stained or anything like that because we had to wait for some time to have it stained.  They finished the deck, but they left a lot of little holes and stuff in it.  They also didn't sand it down, so it still seems a little rough.  I think they could have finished it all the way through.
Response from EXOVATIONS of Atlanta
"Thank you for your review. I am not clear as to why the wood would have holes or need to be sanded. Decking material should be finish grade and not require any sanding. I will have our Construction Manager call you to schedule a time to inspect these issues and resolve them to your satisfaction."

My home had simulated wood siding, installed in 1988, that has been the subject of several class action law suits. I finally decided to have it all replaced with something else (it's no longer manufactured). Exovations had done several roofing and window replacement jobs in my neighborhood. The neighbors were pleased so I contacted Exovations. I was plesantly surprised by the price. They did the job thoroughly, quickly and professionally. The new HardiePlank siding looks great. They also handled the few problems uncovered when the old siding was removed without gouging me for additional charges.

Their professionalism stands out, but they also really worked with me on the price. I liked them during the sales process, but they were not originally the lowest price. During negotiations I told them I like them, but that they needed to be more competitive. They were able to work on the price to make it reasonable for me to go ahead and use them. They didn't end up being the exact lowest, but I just needed them to be more competitive; and they worked on that. They came across as wanting my business as well.

Our experience with Exovations was the best experience I have ever had with a company.  They did everything right.  Joy Branch was our sales person - we were so impressed with her professionalism, her suggestions and enthusiasm for our project, her quick response with our appointment and then our estimate.  Tony Fricks was our project manager.  He was always available to us and quick to response to questions.  He managed the project and it was completed earlier than scheduled.  He accommodated a change in the schedule due to a personal conflict we had - it didn't phase him (although I'm sure it made scheduling his workers' time more of a challenge).  The work crews kept the work site completely clean.  When the window work was done, they were very careful to protect my furniture, floors, rugs and cat.  My only wish is that Exovations also did INTERIOR work.  I would have them back in a heartbeat!

Being a recent subscriber to Angie's list I was a little skeptical about what I might find. But I knew I needed to replace my siding and gutters because of the poor quality currently on the house. Given the large expected expenditure I wanted to get other people's advice/opinion/experience with Atlanta providers. Given the incredibly poor job of installation and product used on my 10 year old home I was concerned that I would not be able to find a solid company to meet my needs and expectations. I contacted 3 companies based on Angie's recommendation. Each company was professional and prompted in getting back to me in a timely fashion. Joy from Exovations stood out as the person who seemed most knowledgeable and interested in my need. So when the estimates started to roll in I expected Exovations to be at the higher end. Turns out they came in with the lowest bid (not by lots but the lowest nonetheless). Given the quote I received I decided to do more than the siding and added new gutters and a new front window to the list of updates. Once I decided to retain Exovations they sent out Josh as the project manager. I ran through the punch list with him on the items to be updated. The job began on 4/8/2011 with the installation of the new window and was completed with the final brush stroke on 4/18/2011. The siding crew was out on time and done in 2+ days. I was very impressed with how much better the house looked when they were done. The attention to detail was much appreciated. They cleaned up after themselves each night and at the end. They installed soffits, vents and replaced rotten wood. They neatly re-attached the cable wires and etc. when they were done. I was very please. Next was the gutter crew. They came to my home on 4/15 the night which happened to be the night of a very bad storm. They installed all the gutters before the storm arrived. The difference the gutters made in just less noise alone made them worth the price. What a difference plus they look so much better. I'm anxious to see how they perform over time. Lastly the painters arrived on 4/18. I expected them for a couple of days but they competed all the work after a long day. The house looks fabulous. I'm very pleased and impressed with the work and project management of Exovations. I highly recommend them to others and have already convinced a friend of my to retain them too.

They were excellent. I was very comfortable with this company. I received other estimates from several other companies, and I thought Exovations' pricing, in this area, was extremely fair for the quality of the gutters. Also, other companies tagged on an extra 20 feet of unnecessary gutter. They use a manufacture that warranties these gutters for life, and the color of the gutters for 20 years. If the gutters become clogged, they will clean them at the manufacture of the gutter guard's expense. Also, their painters/roofers solely works for Exovations, which I think is a plus. Everything seemed to be very above board for this company. I'm happy with their services.

Joy Branch came to the house for the initial estimate and did a great job explaining the products. She was knowledgeable about and completely supportive of the company?s products and was able to offer insight as we made decisions. She did a good job of listening to our desires and budget restrictions and made recommendations accordingly. Joy was prompt in returning to our home with our estimate and was able to make adjustments in order to satisfy our needs. She knew we were interviewing other companies and stayed in touch without being pushy. We were surprised that Joy was one of only two of the five roofing companies we interviewed who followed up with us. Again, the customer service helped in our decision making process. Jim McCulluch is the project manager in charge of our project. We have almost finished the entire project and have been pleased with his management. I had to reiterate and clarify a couple of key details during the final planning meeting, but I was satisfied when he left that the project was in good hands. I was surprised at how quickly he was able to schedule the work and even more surprised that it was completed almost exactly as promised. Good weather helped, but the crews completed the work as we were told they would: 1.5 days for the roof and 2 full days for the windows, door, shutters, and gutters. The only piece that was not in place at the end of the planned work time was the shutters, which were delivered one day late and were hung within 30 minutes (the installer was here waiting when the delivery truck arrived with the shutters). The roofing crew did a great job. With the exception of needing 2 additional pieces of plywood to repair the roof deck, the job went exactly as we expected it to. The crew was careful to protect our landscaping and did a thorough job cleaning up. We love the look of the new roof and are confident that it was installed well. The windows were installed equally well. The crew did quick and thorough work and paid attention to detail. The caulk lines are virtually invisible and they cleaned the windows well, making the process exciting and as painless as possible. Our only complaint about the window installation process is in the clean-up. They picked up all of the obvious debris and did a quick visual sweep for garbage, but there were many small pieces of metal trim and old screws on the ground after they left. The windows work beautifully and look outstanding. The only glitch in the process was in the manufacturing of the giant picture window in the front of the house. There is some noticeable residue between the layers of glass in two areas. When I showed this to Jim after the installation, he agreed immediately that it was unsatisfactory and has reordered the window. While we were somewhat concerned about how this would be handled, we are currently pleased that Jim is handling the situation as he should and Exovations is living up to their great reputation. I will follow up with this report when the entire job is completed (see update below). The gutters went up quickly and look great. You really don?t notice them, which is how gutters should be, in our opinion. They were tested today by their first rainfall and seemed to do well. We?ll have to wait until fall to see how the leaf guard system works. The sliding glass door is great quality and looks good. It was not aligned perfectly at first, but Jim made a simple adjustment to the lock and fixed the problem easily. Overall, we are very happy with our experience with Exovations and would look to them both for our own future needs as well as recommend them to others.
UPDATE: A satisfactory new picture window was finally installed in September, a full SIX (6) months after the original work was done.  During that time, we were shown 3-4 windows, which also had defects and were unsatisfactory. The installers who came to our home with the windows said that there had been several other defective windows that they had rejected in their own warehouse without bothering to tell us about them. While Jim McCulluch was initially good about contacting us about the status of the replacement window, he ultimately dropped the ball in handling the situation.  He tried to hand the instillation job off to the manufacturing company, who had no real understanding what we were dealing with.   He did not tell his supervisor about the difficulties we were having and made no additional efforts that were visible to us to make sure the job was handled correctly. Each time someone was scheduled to install the window, Jim said he would "try to show up" and never did, nor did he ever call to see how the instillation had gone.  He was always surprised to hear from me that things were still not fixed. In the end, we were told that the factory that had been making the defective windows was finally at the end of their contract and we were given a window made in another facility which produced higher quality windows.  The instillation was finally completed by Exovations after we contacted Joy Branch yet again (we had to return to her 2-3 times during this process to try to move things along) and she finally handed the situation over to the owner of the company.  Jim McCulluch's supervisor handled the instillation nicely and we were given a $50 gift card for dinner and a personal apology from the owner of the company.  While we were pleased to have the company acknowledge their shortcomings, it was too little too late and we will not be using this company for any future work on our house, as we once planned.  If you choose to use Exovations, and especially Jim McCulluch, be sure to stay carefully on top of things from the beginning to the end and do not hesitate to go further up in management if things are not handled to your satisfaction.

The estimate process was quite painless. They walked us through exactly what needed to be done and provided a written estimate on the spot. The crew showed up around 7am, removed the old gutters and had the new larger gutters and downspouts installed the same day. We had a very heavy rain several weeks after the new gutters were installed and it was quite pleasant to sit and watch them not overflow water all over our deck and down on our foundation. I will certainly call them for other services the offer as I need them in the future.

Very professional from the beginning. I received an email AND call from Exovations within a day of submitting my quote request. Wayne Blount came out and gave us an estimate. The price was a little high for my taste at first but he was willing to match my next highest bid which was the most comparable to the materials and service. He made sure to include the code required drip edge for our county in the estimate and suggested a cricket for the chimney to reduce the build up of leaves and debris where the roof met the chimney chase. Wayne was prompt and thorough and explained how the process would work. Tony Fricks was assigned as our project manager and he came out a couple weeks prior to the job starting to walk the roof and make sure there wouldn't be any surprises. We chose our roof color and Tony set a start date and also let us know when the dumpster and materials would be delivered (Friday before the Monday install). Unfortunately, the night before the install, Atlanta was hit with a serious snow and ice storm which delayed the job one week (no fault to Exovations). But they still kept in communication and let me know that we were next once weather permitted. The crew showed up first thing Monday morning and was very friendly. The site supervisor, Jessica spoke English as did most of the crew. They laid a tarp around the perimeter of the house to collect the debris. At the end of the day, they unfortunately found they were 2-3 squares short and had to schedule to finish 2 days later. However, the materials were in earlier than expected and they returned the next day and completed the job. Their cleanup was fantastic! You can't even tell they were here (except for the fine looking roof!). During the first day after they had stripped off the old roof, Tony, the project manager arrived to consult with me on how many deck boards would have to be replaced due to rot. Unfortunately, we had 11 (which shows what a lousy job the previous contractor had done 13 years prior) but we knew what the price was going in for each board ($45) which is fair. They used true 1/2 inch plywood decking and NOT wafer board. Before they installed the roof, they nailed down and secured EVERY board on my roof. I just got down from my roof today to walk it myself and it is the most solid it has ever felt. Tony came out 3 days later to do the final walk through/walk around, pick up the left over materials and get paid. It was a painless process (except having to write a big check - haha) and it is a very good feeling to have a functioning, good looking roof that is backed by the installing company this time. Exovations wasn't the cheapest, but the confidence they gave me in the company and their work led me to contract with them. Having walked the roof myself today to see the work close up, I am very happy. I will definitely recommend to others and will plan on using them for other exterior work as I need it.
