PERFECT They showed great respect for my extensive ornamental garden, which is my entire back yard. You will not be disappointed. At no extra cost they even limbed up some trees not part of the quote.

They took down 5 Leyland cypress and really raised the canopies on probably 3 or 4 big trees, maples and cherry trees. And then they trimmed a holly tree on the side of my house. They pruned a Japanese maple and also they trimmed 3 crepe myrtles.

Very good work. Well staffed, good, heavy equipment suitable for residential work and stump removal. No lawn damage.

Tyler and four man crew , got to my house a little before 8am .These guys were great they knew what they were doing all worked together to get job done. They had the right equipment to do the job . There were no break downs. they worked steady till around noon. Stopped for lunch went back to work. These guys worked steady till a little after six all trees down and gone, all stumps gone. my deck and roof were cleaner when they left then before they came. I will use again for sure. would highly recommend. Only reason I gave a B in price is because I got a lower bid. I don't think I would have gotten as good a result from the lower bid . During the estimate phase, owner Tyler Lamb provided me with the names of several references and an insurance certificate showing that he and his crew were adequately insured and insurance was up to date. Once I was ready for the job, he scheduled it quickly. When I later decided I needed three more trees cut, he provided what I thought was a fair price. His price was the lowest of the three estimates I received, even with cutting the extra trees. Tyler and the crew arrived just after dawn and all work was completed by noon. The crew has all of the machines necessary to accomplish the work quickly. The crew was skilled at working in an enclosed area and got the trees to fall exactly where they wanted them to without affecting my wood fencing or the house. An excellent experience overall.

Excel Tree Care is exactly what you're looking for in a tree service provider. Tyler is an arborist and his intent isn't to go in and clear-cut your trees. The estimate that we had from another tree company was essentially to slice them all down and increase our costs. That wasn't the case with Excel and it was greatly appreciated. We were put on the schedule very quickly and his crew was professional and prompt. We were told that the job would take about three hours and virtually to the minute, it was three hours and the only way that you knew that they had been there were very lowly cut tree stumps. I've already recommended Excel to others and I think you'll appreciate giving your business to a good, local business where the costs don't go towards extensive marketing campaigns.

Tree services in our area were very busy. We called for help a couple days after the storm. Tyler arrived at our home about an hour after we called Excel. He left a written estimate and noted we could use the Angie's coupon. The estimate before the coupon compared favorably with another estimate we received. Other services that we called never showed up to give an estimate. It took about a week for the crew to get to our job, but that was understandable given the weather and that we did not have anything needing urgent attention. The crew worked quickly and professionally. They cut off, chipped, cleaned up, and hauled away. We were pleased with our total experience with Excel and would use them again.

Kevin and his 4 man team arrived on time with all required equipment to commence a very smooth operation. We had previously seen Kevin and his team at work in the neighborhood and had him give us an estimate. We were highly pleased with the service and will use Excel again in the future.

I always try to find a company that is local and with Excel Tree Care I found the best. Everything went perfectly.Tyler Lamb is a professional. He responded instantly to my phone call and was out at my house in a couple of days to see what I wanted done. I had a huge river birch and a leyland that I wanted removed. He told me how much it would cost and after getting quotes from other compaines I decided to go with Tyler Lamb the owner of Excel tree care. His price was lower than others and I really liked him. The job was done quickly with the removal of the trees and stumps. I will use him again for sure.

Tyler and his men did an awsome job. He had the right machinery to do the job that I needed done. The men were very professional and cleaned up and carted away all the debris that was left after cutting. They were done on time and did everything he was contracted to do and for the price quoted. I would definately call on Excel to do any further work I needed done.

Tyler (the owner) came out as scheduled for my estimate. He was very knowledgeable and personable. I could tell he knew what he was talking about from the moment I met him. He was running late for the appointment, but called ahead of time to let me know and to make sure it was okay with my schedule. My estimate was emailed to me as promised. I got another estimate for comparison and his price was very fair. I decided to go with Excel for the job. They did a great job and went above and beyond in my opinion. I am very impressed with them and will use them in the future for any other tree work I need. In addition, I have already recommended them to family and friends.

I met with Tyler and he gave me a quote...His crew came out and did the job and it went good. My neighbor was getting some work done from Excel on the same day, and then they did the work on our yard that day and part of the next day. Tyler answered all my questions and preformed the job like a true professional. Will def. call them again if we need some more trees cut in the future.

They performed the work in a timely manner and to the specifications and price we had agreed upon. They cleaned up and hauled away all debris and left no visible signs that they had been here except that the trees looked much better.

My experience with Excel could not have gone better. I receive multple proposals for the work. Tyler had a very competitive price, but more importantly was how he detailed his plan for my tree removal to give me a comfort level with his team. The tree was exremely large and in a difficult area for removal; overhanging my house, porch and driveway. My driveway is narrow and backyard fenced so there was no where to lay the tree down. A crane was used to remove the tree in sections. Tyler made a diificult job easy for me. He coordinated the tree removal permit with city. What he thought could be a two day job ended up being completed in less than a day. My yard and driveway (and neighbor's) were cleaner when they left than when they started. Thanks guys for a great job. I highly recommend Excel for any tree removal work.

From start to finish Tyler was knowledgeable and professional. He came out as promised and knew more about trees and their removal then any of the 8 other companies that we got bids from. We received bids from the top companies on Angies list and from personal referrals. Excel far and away the most informative and reasonable. This tree was enourmous and really close to our home. Tyler was just as concerned about the saftey of our family and home as we were. He came out with a crew took this tree down without bothering us a bit. He and his team were kind, respectful and left our yard in great condition (not sure how). We did not lose a single shrub and they cleaned up the entire area. We have already used him again on another tree (huge sweet gum) and recieved the same profeesional service at a very fair price. We would not hesitate to call him anytime we have any tree removal needs. Save yourself some time and energy and just give Tyler a call.

On 6/2/2013 I received an estimate for tree service after a professional visit and evaluation. Unfortunately we were not able to immediately proceed at that time. On 7/2/2013 I contacted this company via email and asked the to proceed with the city and HOA permitting required to remove some trees. On 7/2/2013 we received a response indicating that the permitting would begin. After several weeks of not hearing anything, I emailed for a status update on 8/1/2013 and 8/7/2013 but did not receive a reply. On 8/12/2013 I called and spoke with the owner over the phone, Tyler Lamb, who apologized and indicated that he was no longer interested in the work.

They did an excellent job. I would definitely use them again. I would recommend them to anyone looking for tree service.

Excel Tree Service is one of the very best! This company may have literally saved our lives. Here's what happened... We live on a three quarter acre lot that's nearly half woodland. Ten very large trees threatened our home. One exceptionally huge one was rotted, cracking and termite infested at the base. It was at a high risk of falling on our home. The area that it would likely have landed was the master bedroom, where my wife and I sleep. It was a killer, and it scared us to death. The Competition I called several tree services. One couldn't come out for another week; two others immediately came out, including an Angie's list member that had an 'A' rating. Those guys were professional, but very impersonal. Our job cost a lot of money, but Excel under bid the competition by about $1,000. What They're Like Excel is owned and managed by Tyler Lamb, who was extremely personable, knowledgeable and professional. Prior to awarding Excel the job, Tyler provided a copy of his company's proof of insurance and customer references. In addition to coming in much lower than the other service, he offered to do things the other guy didn't, like dropping boards in my yard to prevent tearing up my grass. Tyler also had his men trim limbs and other overgrown vegetation that I hadn't even asked for, but was also a problem. The Results Prior to cutting the majority of my trees, he and several members of his crew came out days earlier and downed the killer tree. A storm blew through later that afternoon. We could see that the large crack was growing rapidly, so I'm not sure what would have happened had he delayed. Excel Tree Service did every single thing that they promised, including cutting the trees as close to the ground as possible, shredding the limbs, hauling away the chips, and arranging to have the wood hauled away. All of those extras were at no additional charge. One last thing that I really liked about Excel was his crew. They seemed like quality men. That's important, if you're concerned about strangers roaming around your home while you're off at work (which I was). Excel Tree Service did a fantastic job. No one, and I mean no one, could have done better.
