Dompol Tile Installation

Mark did a fantastic job! He was prompt, courteous and kept the job site as clean was possible at the end of each day. The tile job looks beautiful. He was recommended by by sister-in-law who has had 2 tile jobs done by him over a 15 year period. He's been in the business a long time and knows what he's doing!

I emailed Dompol Tile on Sunday, May 1, 2016. I didn't receive a response, so I called first thing Wednesday morning and left a voicemail message with a description of the project and my phone number. I still have not heard anything from them, and it is now Thursday night.

We have used Dompol Tile 3 times over the last 8 years or so and they always do a superb job. Lucy is always reachable and answers all our questions. Tile is Mark's profession and you can tell. He is a master and the finished product always looks outstanding. Anytime we have a tile project it's great to know we have someone we can depend on.

Lucy and Mark are a great team! Lucy came by to assess and provide an estimate. She addressed all questions and concerns. Mark renovated the shower weeks later and we could not be happier with the outcome, he did an awesome job! Very professional, always on time, and did an amazing job. We can't wait to use them again to finish the rest of the bathroom.

This is the second job Dompol has done for us, and we are recommending them highly to our friends and coworkers. (The first job was a single room in ceramic with a medallion. We called Lucy, who went through every room with my wife, measuring to provide an estimate and some additional tile suggestions. She also helped work out a rough plan as to which rooms to do first. (The job involved clearing a couple of rooms first then giving us a week or two to clear other rooms back into the finished rooms. ) The installation also installed three different types of tiles, with different thicknesses onto mostly flat concrete. There were two tricky issues, which were dealt with quickly and promptly: 1. As Mark started on the hallway, he also convinced us that we should run the wood-look tile the short way across the hallway instead of down the length. This is not something ANYONE ever does. The problem was that the sizing of the tile combined with a slight curve in the hallway would look pretty bad. We spent about an hour discussing options and followed his advice. He was able to lay the hallway tile in a very random fashion which makes it REALLY indistinguishable from natural wood. 2. The Media Room required a dark grout. Mark's preferred brand called did not have a readily available dark color, and so we went with a reputable tile shop brand. The grout failed, ending up somewhat below the tile surface, and with a serious white haze on top. Mark spent one evening trying to clean the grout, which removed the haze, but brought the grout too far down to be sane. So, yesterday, he spent an entire day hand cutting out the failed grout and regrouting everything. Looking closely, I can see he nicked the edge of one tile near a wall while cutting it out. (Given that this is a 375 square foot room, I expected more.) At no point in the process did we get the impression that they would not fix the problem, and Mark asked permission to try cleaning first instead of just committing to the full, painful day of regrouting. He still left it to be our choice. I feel that a real mark of quality is how they deal with problems. We are completely happy with their work. My wife is already lining up next year's tile punch list. There is absolutely no doubt who will be doing it.

I never thought I would be excited about tile! I am so happy I made the right decision by going with Dompol Tile Installation.I received several estimates from other companies and I have no doubt Mark does a better job than anyone out there.

Bad. I wanted an estimate on floor tiling and asked 3X for it....never received anything and seems like she just wasn't interested in the job.

Mark and Lucy gave us an estimate on Friday, and Mark did the work on Saturday. Great service and quality work.

They were awesome. Their quote came in 2nd to lowest of 7 but their work was top of the line. Showed up on time every day and went straight to work. Work completed on time and on budget. Took great care to make sure they didn't mess up anything when coming in and going out. The tile installation was absolutely beautiful and they completely cleaned up after the job. Very professional! Highly, highly recommend!!!! Recommending to all my friends.
