Banks Septic

First toilets would not flush so had tank pumped although not much in it just so much rain lines filling with water and recommended new septic lines and have Matt out to test, Before he could come out had a clog in septic since water was not flowing out and had banks out to clear it. Matt went to the county got the platt and walked the entire area with me and showed me where the septic lines were and how full they were .Recommended new lines to let the old ones just dry out. Gave me a couple of options. Had to wait for inspectors for county to be available after 1st of year. I had to take down 3 trees (Matt found me some one to take them down and haul away). Banks Septic came out. pulled out and hauled away stumps, put in 150 ft of new lines and made sure everything worked properly before leaving. Very well done thanks Matt

They did the job as quoted and I had no complaints. Everything went well and they were on time. They had good new equipment. The workers did their job and did not waste time. I would use them again. They got the job done in about one hour and they sent 2 people out to do the job.

They did a great job on everything, except putting the grass back down. Other than that, I was very pleased with their service.

Happiest I've been with a service contractor in a very long time. Details: My rental had been having septic issues for several years, most likely due to root issues/age of system. We had a "repair" several years ago, but that fix seemed to have run its course as we have had about three pump outs in last few years and it was clear from the gurgling in downstairs toilet, it was about to happen again just six months after last one. I had quotes from several people that were considerably higher than Banks and one that insisted another repair would be fine. Am I glad I decided to continue looking. Felt comfortable immediately with Banks, from office staff to the owner Matt, who promptly called me to discuss options. Fearing time was limited until crisis, Banks offered to come out and install an overflow valve on Friday. Sunday night that valve proved invaluable, as it did overflow outside. Had this not been done, we would have had an interior problem. In the meantime, Matt (owner) thought it might expedite things for me to get my own permit through Cobb County (already had done field test), and I did that. Excellent idea once again, as the engineer was able to go to property and permit came in quickly. Was put on schedule to get the field lines done just days later.... right before a holiday. The guys doing the work were great. They were extremely professional, explained what was going on, and left my yard level. They were careful to watch for water and gas lines, knowing the amount of digging would require them to work around. They even removed a couple tree stumps (thank you!!!!), and dug up and saved a couple blueberry bushes, which I was able to take home and transplant. I have worked with many contractors since moving to Atlanta and several septic companies. I cannot sing these guys' praises enough. Have since had them come to my own home for a pump out. Different crew and just as professional. AND did I mention that their work came in at almost $1000 below the nonnegotiable quote of the company I almost used. Very pleased with this company. Will not hesitate to recommend them, which is something I rarely do.

The servicemen arrived on time, pumped out the tank, and the man in charge answered all my questions (ex. was tank in good condition (yes), was it in dire need of pumping (no), and advised me on trees I could and could not grow near septic field), and they did not leave a mess. Very professional and best of all, they didn't try to sell me anything, no bacteria treatments, or additional services, and that in my book speaks volumes about how good a company this is. I wholeheartedly recommend Banks Septic Tank Service.

They did some work on our septic tank. They did the work quickly and they came when they said that they were going to come. They were really nice. They answered me when they said that they would and they took care of all the permits. They did everything when they said that they were going to do it. The owner is a laid back guy but very professional.

I've used Banks a couple of times over the last few years, and their service has always been fine and fairly priced. Several of my neighbors have also used them and have also been well satisfied. Importantly, they do not do that creeping "you also need..." or other charge inflating maneuvers. My only two comments would be: septicservices here in N Georgia run 2x or so times more expensive than the state where I used to live and as one looks at the business economics, it would appear that it is a most likely a quite profitable enterprise - perhaps why there are so many providers for a limited customer base. Of course, not that many are willing to muck around in other people's poop to earn their keep. The other is, as other reviewers have noticed, Banks' office person must be a family member or the like for no person who could be readily fired would last in this position with her rather condescending attitude to customers. The people in this field are great, though. Those things said, I would have used Banks again for my latest need but they seemed uninterested in providing an lower cost solution, but rather wanted to replace my entire field (expensive and very disruptive to our landscape) and were more than a bit vague on how they would do it: their proposal was 3 very short "sentences" on what they would actually do (with none of the details described during the site visit - which it turns out would have been impossible given where the service lines to the house are located), and a very long paragraph as to how they would extract money out of me were I to balk at paying. At any rate, I found a more modest and straightforward solution, one that would last likely 10 years (not necessarily 30 years of a new field) and has been working well for many months now. Sewer is most likely coming to this area in that lesser time frame.

Banks Septic arrived within 24 hrs of my initial contact to pump out my septic tank. The price I was quoted on the phone was all-inclusive and very reasonable. In fact, I was reminded by the foreman on scene that I had a coupon from Angie's List and $25 was discounted off the total. The service crew called ahead and arrived right on time. The entire crew was clean and efficient. The pumping took less than 45 minutes. Before leaving they checked the water flow and determined there was still a clog. The clog was removed without any problem. Banks Septic left no mess behind from either the truck or the septic location. All my questions were answered and suggestions were made for future maintenance of my system. I will use this service in the future and have absolutely no reservation recommending them to anyone in need of septic tank care.

I hired the company after finding them on Angie’s List. They were prompt and on time to the appoinrmtment. Two technicians arrived and they were both friendly. Their costs were reasonable.They proved to me that my tank was larger than what the state survey said it was. The survey said I had a 1,000 gallon tank. When the technician came out, he was able to show me that I had a 1,500 gallon tank. They restored the lawn when they finished the job. They were very efficient and friendly. They did a good job.

Banks came out and performed an inspection along with the pump-out of our 1500 gallon septic tank. It is my first home that I owned with a septic system and Ethan (?) explained how my system was setup and pointed out the location of the tank and the drainfields. Very good experience overall.

The company was terrific to deal with at every step and stage. From the initial Sales contact to the crews that came out on-site to my property. Everyone was punctual, respectful and great to work with. ALL companies could learn a lot from how Banks Septic is run. I have worked with many contractors over the past several years as we have renovated our property and no one comes close to the professionalism and quality that is achieved by Banks Septic.

They were prompt courteous and very neat (they cleaned up after themselves completely). We had no idea where the septic tank was and they located it quickly without a problem. I used the coupon with no problem,there were no hidden charges or fees for coming out today. We called at 3:45 pm and they came out, took care of the problem and left after 5:00 pm. The service was quick and professional. They came in with a couple shovels instead on a back hoe. They had the lid dug up and hose in tank with in 15 minutes. No extra charges for extra hoses or extra sludge pumped....The leader/tech showed me a couple things to help keep water off of the drain field, as Mr. Rooter was quoting 12-15k for a new drain field. I did as the tech advised and moved down spouts off drain field and since they have had ZERO problems (knock on wood!!!). Bank's provided the kind of service you expect to get for your money. No nickel and dime extra charges. Straight to the point service and advise. They easily saved me 12k... and for that, I will refer everyone I know to them! And should the need arise, they will be the first ones I call.

Courteous workers! Work done as requested, on time and great price. NO added fees once they got here (Heard awful reports from a neighbor about a different company doing that for an addition $400!!). The phone receptionist/scheduler was helpful and professional. We even got a thank you note!! Who does that anymore? That was icing on the cake that we will use them again. Absolutely no complaints. I love being able to write this kind of review! Oh, they had an Angie's List coupon, too!

I was able to have questions answered promptly through the contact email on the Angie's List App. I knew beforehand that they were going to dig with shovels INSTEAD of using heavy equipment which would have raised the price by a lot. I received a call saying they'd be at the house in about an hour. They were right on time. They were courteous and worked fast. They didn't try to sell me extra services or chemicals. I used a $25 off Angie's List coupon without a problem. I always dread this kind of appointment but this has been the best septic service I've received. I will use Banks again in the future.

They had to come out several times to determine the correct pump. Once they installed I had them come back out to recheck it several weeks later. They did this at no charge and explained to use what the problem was. Great service and would recommend.

They explained the service to me, showed up on time, call me ahead of time so I could meet them at the house. Explained the septic tank inspection as they went along. Explained how to take care of the septic tank. I would certainly use it again.

After calling around to several septic service companies for pricing, Banks not only provided the best price $285.00 flat rate, but also advised us to ask other providers if their prices were flat rate or carried possible up-charges. Great advice. Ended going back to Banks and made an appointment. As promised they called the day of our appointment with about 45-60 minutes notice. Once they arrived, both employees were very friendly and professional. After a little small talk they proceeded to quickly verify the tank location and began the task of uncovering just enough of the sectional lid to gain access and keep the landscape disturbance to a minimum. Once access was they evaluated the tank and informed us it was in good working order, just needed to be pumped out. Through the years, the previous owners maintained the system with regular monthly treatments, but we still had approximately 3 feet of sludge accumulation. Not bad for a tank installed in 1975. Maintenance, even the little things pays off in the long run. In short order the tank was pumped, the whole filled back in, and the yard restored to near previous conditions. If ever in need of further work on our septic system, Banks will be the only phone call we will be making. Person who came out was very good about teaching. Patient answering questions. Willing to listen and worked a solution that fit our constraints.

I arranged this through Angies List contact feature and they responded quickly. I also researched them from the DHS website and they are a recommended service provider there too. The two gentlemen came to my house and promptly found the septic tank and cleaned it. They were very professional and I recommend them to anyone in our location. A lot of other service providers tack on additional charges, Banks gives you a flat price and sticks to it.

Everything went as expected. The septic tank was pumped out. I was advised that the drain field was not working and to call back if symptoms returned after to a week get a quote on repairs.
