When we were told by Matt that he would have their office call to schedule (exact words) and after a few days I didn't hear anything, we called to follow up and ask. When asking about getting scheduled, we were told he was trying to work us in the next day. I was very surprised as a homeowner we would need to be apprised of scheduled work ahead of time and that the schedule would work for us. Upon expressing our concern over the lack of communication and appropriate scheduling, we were told he didn't need our business. Do not always believe the top rated Angie's List...the guy threatened me with his lawyer if I left this review.

Everything went as hoped. Noah and another guy came and did a great job. Noah was also very helpful in explaining the septic system.

Justin was excellent, very polite. Turns out I did not need the tank pumped out but they provided information on care of a septic tank and when I should get it pumped out (haven't lived in a home with a septic tank in quite some time). Will definitely use in the future when I do need it pumped!

They did the job just fine but left in a hurry. Left permanent record of their visit on my driveway by spinning tires on it. Took me an hour and a half to clean up after they left. Likely going to go with someone else next time.

That guy was out there busting his hump. That wasn't the first time that I used him. He was here for two hours. He had to dig down to it, and the people put a sprinkler line right over the septic tank. They were nice and genuine. He was terrific. He left the area clean. They identified the oddball problem, and they fixed it. The root grown across the septic drain line, and into the septic tank.

Went as expected. They cleaned up the lawn so there was very little evidence that they had dug up the yard to pump the septic tank.

The work went well. The crew arrived as scheduled, took care of the project quickly and professionally, and left things at they found them.

That one cost me almost $1,500 because on top of the sceptic tank. They advertised it at $299, but then all of a sudden it went up to almost like $600, because of all the other things. That means that I had to pay for the repairs that they repaired 5 years ago; and they said was not done right. He goes, “you’re up against the wall with that”, because it started backing up to my house and I had no choice, but to except whatever they said. I’m trying not to hold against them for what supposedly their system issues did 5 years ago. The first time they came out they already gave me a quote of like $1,600, because of what could they fine. I think they came out here with a price anyway based on what they found last time. They knew what they were doing on that. I think it should have been cheaper. On quality, we will find out. The last time they fixed it, they had to come and fix it again. I don’t know what to grade them on that. They responded fairly quick. They were here on time. I’m less likely to use them again, because I’m not trusting of the experience I had with the whole scenario. They said they wasn’t available before. My records were there, so I had to pay for something that I already had paid, they should have been responsible for in the first place. It’s can of hard to trust somebody that comes back with that mess. It wasn’t done right. It was $900 plus whatever they charged. It was about $1,500. I thought it was fine. I would have graded them a “B’, but because they didn’t keep the records that they were supposed to, I have a different outlook. They didn’t do a good job, obviously it was overpriced. Actually, they were overpriced when they called me, but I have to get it done. They also said something about it had to be done to prevent problems in the future. Quality I would rate a “D”, because they were the ones who confirmed it was bad. I don’t recall them not being professional.

It went well. Straight forward and no surprises. No up selling. Turned out my tank was under a sidewalk. I decided to cut the sidewalk myself. Banks came back out a few days later when I was ready.

Great. These folks installed our system in 2003. They are honest, personable, knowledgeable. Happy to answer questions. Taught me more about septic systems than I ever thought I wanted to know. Charges are very reasonable.

It had been 14 years since we built the house and it needed to be cleaned out. They did a nice job. They are very helpful and very friendly. They showed us what they were doing and ah, didn't try to sell us the world. It was very quick, very professional. They really knew exactly what they were doing and I would recommend them. They were great. There were 2 young men, they knew what they were doing. They were very professional. They worked quickly and they ah, you know they didn't, like so many of those companies they try to sell you everything in the world. I had one come in before them and before they even started working they had told me it was going to cost a couple thousand dollars. So I had to just tell them no, just go ahead and go away. That seems to be the game in that industry right now, is everybody's trying to upsell ya. I guess they get kudos for that. But these young men didn't try to do that. So, I was very happy.

They arrived on time and pumped out the tank without any problem. They weren't convinced that a new Drainfield was required at this time but may be necessary in the future. But they provided be a written estimate for such work if and when it becomes necessary which was lower in price than a previous estimate provided by another company. All in all I was very satisfied with their work.

1500 gallon tank pumped for $425 with Angie's list coupon. Easy flat fee to work with. None of the nonsense about base fees, plus hose length, dig depth, etc., and so on that a few others vendors quoted me. My choice was a flat fee service. Only issue is minor in that you know the day they will come but not the time. I was home all day anyway so not an issue for me.

I did my research and choose Banks Septic. I called Banks Septic they had quick and easy scheduling, and worked around my schedule. Noah and one other worker showed up when promised and promptly began working. I showed them where I thought our septic tank was located and within a matter of minutes they found the tank and began digging. The pumping was completed quickly and efficiently. They did not tear up the yard and they cleaned up afterwards so they did not leave any mess behind. Very professional and courteous, Noah answered all my questions and I had a few since this was my first home with a septic tank. The cost was as quoted when I called to schedule the service.

Team showed up next day to get tank pumped and provided guidance about step to troubleshoot pump electrical issues.

I would definately have them do work for me in the future. They were punctual, knowledgable and the price that was quoted was the price I paid.

I wasn't actually present during the inspection and the pumping since the current owner still lives at the home we are in the process of purchasing. However, the owner did state that the actual inspection and pumping went well. We did come across a unique issue but after I spoke with Banks Septic's owner Matt Gravitt, he was willing to work it out. I really did appreciate that they accommodated our unique issue. I would recommend others to hire this company because they are very reasonable and will only charge you a flat fee (instead of adding on random costs here and there once they get there). A lot of other septic tank companies seem to add on random costs once they arrive by the way so be careful when getting your "estimate". Make sure you ask if it is a FINAL estimate or if it will change. I would also like to note that make sure you know where your sprinkler/irrigation lines run so it does not get damaged during the process of their digging.

We made an appointment 2 1/2 weeks ago to have our septic tank emptied. Gave them all the details. 20 minutes AFTER they were supposed to be here, they called us to tell us that 400 feet was too far to pump. Completely unprofessional.

Very professional. Did what I paid them to do. They were very honest and helpful when I asked questions. They did not try to add on anything extra. I pais the price they quoted. They were careful around my plants. I will definitely use them when it is time to pump again.

Appointment booked quickly, they showed up on time, were courteous and professional. Performed the job with no mess and were complete in no time.
