The company was very responsive, prompt, and professional. No surprises on cost. An excellent job and experience all around.

Heavy rains caused my septic tank to back up past the baffle, sending water from the washing machine through a downstairs toilet. Very responsive, came early and dug it up and released jam. Advised me that i didnt need to spend money on pumping at this time. Gave me advice on not paying a plumber to reinstall the toilet seal, being a very easy job. I hope he was right on that. Will call them again, but hopefully not soon.

They arrived on time and completed the service in a professional and efficient manner. The price was the best I found, especially with the Angie's list coupon. I will definitely use them again.

After mowing the yard the previous Sunday, I found a large water logged area in my backyard. I did not think much of it as we just had a bunch of rain and thought it might not have dried up or drained yet (pre-aeration). On Tuesday, I went back to check since it had been hot and dry, and the area was still water logged. I bent down and lifted some water to smell and it smelled like rotten eggs. I just had Banks clean the septic tank a year and a half ago and there was no sign of any backups in the house. So I thought my leach field might have gone bad (the septic tank was close to backup when I had it pumped from the previous owner and their lack of upkeep). I called Banks the next day and they said they could come out on Thursday after a few scheduled appts. in my area to take a look. Sure enough, in the late afternoon, Matt showed up and I explained everything to him. he took a look in the backyard and asked if I had a sprinkler. I told him yes so we went and looked at the meter. I barely moved (if at all), but based on his experience with not having any backups in the house and the water being clear/muddy, it was most likely not the leach field. He told me I had a couple options: 1) Turn off the water to the sprinkler system and wait a week to see if it clears up, or 2) go ahead and dig up the tank to take a look and we would go from there. The former was free and the later would cost $200 and then what else needed to be done if there was a problem. I choose to go with option 1. He turned off the water and told me to call if it did not clear up. As it turns out, it was a leak in a solenoid for the sprinkler zone and not the leach field. Thank you for being so honest and helpful ... especially to come out and look w/o charging for it. Banks is #1 on my list for septic work and I always tell everyone around about them.

I called Banks at 9:30 PM Thursday night to get an appointment for the next day. They arrived early Friday afternoon and did the job in no time! They explained what the problem was with my septic (clog at the baffle) and then went ahead and pumped the tank. They did great!

They came the next day after I called and performed the job neatly by not digging up the whole yard just a little spot. One of the best prices for the service performed.

We noticed problems very late on a Friday night and after checking things out it looked like the pipe running between the house and the septic tank was broken. We checked Angies List and after reading the great reports on Banks we called and left word with the 24 hour answering service. It was great to be able to call that late and feel like we had things started. We received a call back Saturday morning around 9:00 from the owner (he was already working on his first job of the day). He advised us that he had 4 other jobs already on the schedule but would definitely get to us late that afternoon. He called back when he was finishing up the last of his previously scheduled jobs to let us know he was on his way and when he thought he would arrive. He arrived on time and got right to work. He was very courteous and provided an explanation of what needed to be done and why. The tank was pumped and the pipe fixed in about 90 minutes. When he left I had a better setup than when the house had originally been built ! The bill was very reasonable, the quality of the work was great and the overall experience working with Banks was superior. I highly recommend this company and would definitely use him again in the future.

My first note is to be aware that the pricing that appears to be listed on past Angie's reviews of Banks of $250-$300 for a basic septic tank pump, is either old pricing or perhaps is for smaller tanks. Either way, it's vague and not reliable. My tank, which they estimated at a 1500 size was $410 (before coupon) to be pumped. That size which is the largest tank size, was an estimate based on the fact that I have a garbage disposal and 4.5 baths.

They were great. We were very pleased with the service and they did a fine job at a fair price. I would definitely hire them again.

I didn't know where the septic tank was located, but despite my bad advice on where it might be, the crew found the lid for the tank and performed the job quickly and well, and left the site looking as good as it was before they came. Very good job, Banks!

We spoke to neighbors who had previous septic problems. Banks had been used with great results and highly recommended them and when we looked on Angie's list reviews were also good. When we called they were very helpful and scheduled service for same day. They arrived at our house within time frame they said. Matt was knowledgable and very professional in checking problem, pumping out septic tank and made suggestions on keeping septic tank active to prevent any future problems. Had a so-called appointment with another company who did not bother to show up,even though I had sewage coming out of overflow 3 feet from my front door. Joined Angie's list and got the number for Banks Septic. I called them at 4:00pm and they showed up by 5:30. Excellent knowledgable service tech's came out. Told me a lot about my system and some repairs that need to be made. Will use again for future services.

Our septic tank backed up into our house on Saturday night. I called on Sunday morning and left a message with the answering service. I got a call from PauL within a half hour and described my problem. He was at my house in less than an hour. He got right to work, and did a thorough job of restoring order in the tank. He was done in about an hour and a half. I also was able to take advantage of an Angies List coupon.

Banks's Septic Services just completed a cleaning of my septic tank. The servicemen were on time and answered all of my questions. Both tech's worked without any delays and had the job completed in one hour. I called several other companies for the same pump out service but Bank's had the best price of all. I did use my Angie's List coupon which saved me an additional $25.00. My thanks for great service. I will definitely recommend Banks' and use them int he future.

I just bought a house with a septic tank and wanted to have it professionally inspected. I had never owned a septic tank before, so I didn't really know what to look for. After viewing reviews on here, I went with Banks Septic and am so glad I did! They were able to get me in very quickly and showed up promptly. The price was exactly what they quoted and I was able to use the Angie's List coupon in conjunction. They were courteous and professional, found my septic tank without a problem and shoveled everything back so that you could hardly tell they'd been there. They were in and out within an hour's time and even provided me with tips about how to keep my tank running smoothly in the future. I felt that they were very knowledgeable and very trustworthy in their services and experience. I will be holding on to their contact info and using them again in a few years, next time we get our tank pumped!

They had someone come out ahead of time to mark the gas and water line & we have never had a company do that before. They did a great job and we will use them again and again. They are very professional and really know what they are doing.

They called ahead, showed up on time, were done in an hour, and charged as promised, no surprises. Very pleased!

Banks gave me 10% off due to a scheduling error. They came after 5pm which was not planned so that is why I got the discount. They were nice and did good service.

I dealt with Matt Banks. He surveyed my yard and gave me the option to see if the old field lines were still there. He tried to save us money by having us look for an old pipe to see if it was still there for the purpose of reconnecting it to the part that is working. The old pipe had disintegrated. By him doing that, I felt more comfortable proceeding with them installing new field lines in our yard. He was an excellent communicator. He came when he said he would come. His workers came out a little bit before he did the day of the job which I was a little concerned about because they took down part of my fencing that I didn't think needed to be taken down. When I brought that to their attention, at their own expense Matt and his workers went to Home Depot, got additional fencing material and fixed it without any request on my part to do so. They did what they were supposed to do and when a problem arose they handled it above and beyond. And my septic system is working quite well.

Contacted Banks Septic Tank Service on a Thursday and was promised service by the following Monday first thing. Early Monday Morning received a phone call from the driver confirming the appointment and to let me know he was on his way and will be at my home within a few minutes; within 3-minutes their truck pulled at my property to begin the job at hand. The two men crew needless to say performed a fantastic job they were professional, courteous and knew what they were doing. I had my septic tank serviced before by different companies, but none of them provided the quality of service that Banks provided. Will definitely use them again. Thanks Angie's List .
