Banks Septic

Banks Septic Tank Service Inc have been coming out for 15 years. They're very reliable, don't charge and arm and a leg and I'm very pleased with them. They're very courteous and are here when they said they were going to be.

The service was very professional and very friendly. I would definitely recommend Banks. Very please with the service.

Great group of folks, they were actually referred by another septic company from out of town. Very responsive, easy to schedule quick to finish the job and clean up after themselves.

They were very honest and did a great job. They only did what needed to be done and didn't add on unnecessary things that didn't need to be added. I would use them again and would highly recommend them to others.

They were on time and worked quickly and we could not even tell where the hole had been dug in the landscaping. I had a new landscaped area where they had to dig and they replaced the dirt and mulch so well you could not tell they had dug there at all. They were very efficient, made for an easy process. Will definitely use them again.

They showed up when scheduled and completed the job quickly. We had been charged extra by another company to dig down to our tank, but Banks did not charge extra.

Two gentlemen showed up as promised and proceeded to empty the septic tank. They were very thorough and efficient

I started the new year off with toilets that would not flush, that was diagnosed as a full septic tank by the plumbing service I reviewed previously. I called Banks Septic and they responded with a truck promptly the following morning and discovered my 1500 gallon tank full of water and over flowing from water backfill from the drain field. They informed me there is no clogging or biomat problem but rather a drainage issue in the drain field. I have had this diagnosis confirmed by another major septic company, and a detailed soil analysis. Banks also responded promptly to a subsequent septic overfill due to heavy rains and I am very pleased with the service and their responsiveness. Due to the very poor soil report I will have to either have a very expensive Eljen or drip emitter field installed, or it is possible that landscaping my very flat back yard and rerouting gutter spill may take enough water off the top of the drain field that the system will tolerate occasional heavy rain. That is yet to be determined. In any case, I am very pleased with Banks Septic pumping service and responsiveness and highly recommend them.

I live out of state and our home in Ga is rented. The owner, Matt Gravitt answered his phone at 9 at night and completely explained septic systems and possible issues that could have caused our basement toilet to overflow. He called the next morning to let me know his workers were on the way and they called when they were done. I came back to Ga to check on the house and he personally met me at my house and answered every question I had, gave me referrals to deal with other issues, such as landscaping and water removal professionals. He spent a lot of time and did not charge me a dime!! He is very knowledgeable and went out of his way to spend time with me and made reccomendations to make sure the problem was fully corrected!! What a blessing and a truly nice person. Everyone I dealt with in his company and the referrals he made are top notch!! Definately would use him again!!!

Made appointment with Courtney at office...very nice and professional. The nest day, they called ahead of time and let me know they were on the way. Ronnie came out first, found location of the 1500 gal tank. They had to call another crew out with a track hoe to dig it out due to location and depth. Another crew came back a couple of hours later with the track hoe, dug up the tank, pumped it out. The only additional cost above the 410.00 quote & cost of the pump out was 75.00 to clean the filter. Cleaning the filter takes about 3 minutes but takes about 15 or more minutes with the track hoe to dig up the additional cover. Basically they dig up and access one cover, pump it out, then cover up, then dig up other end, remove cover, access filter, quickly remove & clean it. Accessing and cleaning the filter tells you what kind of condition that side of the tank is in as...and how clogged or dirty the filter is tells you how much sludge tried to get into your drain field lines. Overall, I feel it was worth it and would be worth it for other customers. Once sludge is getting into your field lines, that is where the real damage is done. This was a routine pumping/service of septic tank that I schedule every 3-4 years and was first time I used Banks. I was very pleased with the service provided. Unlike a previous company I used before, Banks was MUCH more careful in locating the tank and digging ONLY the minimum area needed to access the tank. Instead of using a backhoe like some other companies, they hand dug the area to access the tank and were very careful in replacing the dirt & sod. I will DEFINITELY be using Banks again when it's to service/pump the tank again.

Everything went great and as smooth as clock work. They called me 30 minutes prior to arrival. On arrival, they were polite, efficient and knowledgable. They asked questions about the problem I was having and then told me exactly what they would be doing. When they left, everything was cleaned up and I couldn't even tell they had been here! I was very impressed with this company and will not hesitate to use them again. I wll also recommend them to my neighbors!

It was expensive, but at a competitive price. They did a good job as far as I can tell.

Nothing worse at the start of a new year than a visiting family, and a stopped up septic tank! Holiday feasting did not make it any better... But then came Banks Septic Tank Service to the RESCUE! After consulting Angie's List, getting a referral from a COMPETITOR (because they were booked), and a couple of neighbor nods, we called Matt Gravitt (thw owner) and his team at Banks Septic Service. I called at 1:30PM, got the service, left a message and was called back within 20 minutes. The very friendly staff let me know that they could come, but it would not be until 9PM as everyone in Forsyth County was having the same problem. I said, "No problem!" Matt showed up at 5:15PM, whew what a relief, and got started right away. He could have said I needed more than I did, he could have charged me the moon for after hours service, he could have charged me just to evaluate the problem. He did NONE of those things! He let us know it was a simple grease clog (wipe those pots and pans before rinsing) and fixed the problem within 10 minutes. He asked if we wanted to pump the tank, but advised that we did not really need to. He was very careful with my yard and trees, and replaced all of the dirt! He was professional, thorough, and pleasant! We will call him again, and would recommend Banks Septic Tank Service to anyone!

They came out in a timely manner and did the work at what we consider to be a fair price. Went well over all with the exception of them forgetting to take with them used McDonalds cups, and a 4 foot length of old/used septic pipe on the property.

I gave them a B on price only because I really don't have a frame of reference. There are probably cheaper providers, but they did a great job and were very friendly and professional. I purchased an existing home with a septic and needed it pumped and inspected. I found Banks on Angies List. They called before arrival, were prompt at the planned time, and were very professional and neat onsite. I had several questions and Roger was very good about answering my questions. Overall a great experience with no issues. I will gladly use them again.

I had no idea where my septic tank was. It took them some time and they had to use a little technology, but in the end they found my tank, cleaned it out and cleaned up their mess. They were very professional and kept me informed of any extra/optional charges. They put no pressure on me to "upsell" anything.

Called Banks for routine septic tank pump out after reading good reviews on Angieslist. Appointment was made for the following afternoon. Driver called one hour before arriving. Work was very professional and quick. Price was as quoted the day before.

work performed was done satisfactory. There truck left large and multible grease stains on my recently pressure washed driveway. They would not respond to my calls to have my driveway cleaned. I spent approx. $75. trying to remove the grease with not much luck. They placed cardboard under the truck however the leaking grease and oil got all over the driveway in several areas. I ask the technician to notify the owner that my driveway needed to be cleaned. Nothing happened . I called and told them I wanted then to send someone out to clean my driveway but was ignored. No, I would not recommend this company.

Took about one hour to dig up the access points and remove waste.

upWe had what i can only describe as a septic explosion in our basement! The pipes got blocked up somehow and it backed up through a drain pipe in our basement (luckily, because i think a bathroom mess would have been much worse!) The smell was awwwwwful! We had our tank pumped out the year before, so it was an unexpected problem! After seeing the recommendations here, I called Banks and they came out so fast, I was super impressed! Unlike the previous company we had used, they located and dug up the tank by hand, making FAR less mess... they found the problem quickly, they explained everything fully, and most importantly they didn't try to sell us any additional and unnecessary field line work / baffle / drain cleaner / other expensive "extras"! I was impressed with how quickly they worked to adress the problem, and when they left, the tank was covered back up with the dirty and grass, and now I can't even see where they've been!Needless to say, problem solved, and we would definitely recommend Banks to anyone!
