Everything was great. Justin was very responsive and genuinely wanted to do everything right and make sure we were happy. We have an old house and had to have plenty of decking replaced. There have been many long rainy days since and no problems at all. I felt like they go above and beyond what others do. The 15 year warrant including labor is what made me go with them. I would use them again and suggest them to people looking for a good roofer

Upon recommendation from Justin after seeing our wind damaged roof, we contacted our insurance company who ended up paying for a total replacement. Both Justin and Doug were very responsive and knowledgeable. The crew that did the roof was great! It was finished and cleaned up in two days. We have kids and they took extra care to sweep for any stray nails. They also made sure to leave the wildlife exclusion in place like we asked. This was such a better all around experience than with the roof replacement at our last house. Working with this company made all the difference!

Justin and Doug were very professional and friendly - no-nonsense communication and work. Justin thoroughly explained what would take place, and what he explained is what actually happened. They got on the project promptly, finished up in one day, cleaned everything up, and sent a straightforward bill. They assisted with a regulatory matter. Justin and Doug were each easy to get in touch with - I would highly recommend using their services.

We were totally pleased with the entire process. All interaction from the initial phone call to the final inspection went very smoothly. When we called for the shingles that had blown off in a storm, they responded immediately and repaired this so that our attic was safe. We knew at that point that we wanted a new roof. Award Roofing had done an excellent job for us on a previous roofing repair. So we knew that we wanted Award Roofing again. It turned out that the time that the roofing began was the rainiest week of the summer. This could not have been predicted. The supervisor was excellent in communicating with us about the necessary delays. He also made sure that the site was completely clear of any nails or debris when it was shut down for the days of rain. That way I could use my driveway while we waited for the rain to let up. The site was completely organized and neat in between the rain shutdowns. They were also very accommodating about where the dumpster was parked. The roof looks great - they helped us decide on the shade of shingles also.

Justin did the work. He came out to give an estimate and did a great job explaining what was causing the leaks (from underneath looking at the roof from inside the attic and above with me on the roof). He gave me a lot of confidence he understood the problem and how to fix it. He showed up on the day the work was scheduled and finished on-time. The only problem I had was getting a written receipt for the finished work done on 4/16 for my house repairs file. I didn't pay until it was I received it 7/2.

We have a beautiful home in the North Georgia Mountains and needed a new 5000sq ft shingle roof. I didn't really know anyone in the area and was very concerned about the type of work I would get. I went on Angies List and found Award Roofing. I was impressed by 164 excellent reviews and 0 negative reviews. They were closer to Atlanta which is 1hr and 45 minutes away from our home in the mountains. I figured they wouldn't go that far but I called anyway. I called and spoke to Doug who immediately returned my call. To my surprise he said they could go to our home to see my roof and give me an estimate. In 48 hrs Justin had seen our roof and had given us an estimate that was very reasonable. Within a week they were on our property putting on our new roof. It took 3 days and they travelled everyday from Lawrenceville ,Georgia. Justin was on site everyday supervising the work . They went the extra mile to solve every problem encountered i.e.-a surprise bat colony in a vent and adding a roof gutter drain and painting it so it would match. This was all beyond the call of duty. When we were not there Justin would send me picture on his iPhone so I could see the progress. They give a 15 yr warranty on their work and did not require payment until they were finished and we were satisfied. I highly recommend this company. working with them was a great experience . They were courteous, timely, informative, and competitively priced. They also clean up very well after the job was complete. They made getting a new roof a great experience and we are very happy with the outcome.

Doug and his crew did a fantastic job, the house looks great. They worked hard, and Doug worked along side them to make sure it was done right. Doug worked with me to make sure the insurance claim was covered and that I would not have any out-of-pocket except for upgraded shingles. Doug is great to work with, explains everything, and made the experience much different than my first replacement. Highly recommended!

Excellent! The customer service was superb. Doug is a great guy and genuinely wants people to be satisfied. The job was done on time and with great care as promised. Everybody I dealt with had the goal of doing things right.

Great to work with Dustin. He is funny, honest, hard working and know his trade. Even though they were very busy , they found a time to fix my issue which is really appreciated. Looking forward to work with them in future.

Justin came out to give us a quote--he got on the roof and explained the condition of the roof. He was very informative and easy to talk to. We got quotes from 5 different companies. We chose Award Roofing because they quoted a competitive price (not the cheapest, not the most expensive), had a detailed list of the work to be completed and materials to be used, and the best part, they offered a 15 year labor warranty. On the day of the project, their crew was on time and Doug, the owner, came out in the morning and also checked in throughout the day. They worked for 11 hours straight! Day two, they finished everything midday and I was amazed at how well they cleaned up considering how much roofing mess was everywhere on day one! Our porch, rails, gutters, lawn, were all clear. Doug came out to inspect the work done and looked into the couple of things I pointed out. He got on the roof with his tools and fixed the minor issues. He also swept the yard again for nails. We are very happy with the process and the result.

Very well. Got another estimate and chose Award. They came when they said they would and all their employees were very polite and professional. They finished the job on time and cleaned up better than I could have even imagined. We were very pleased.

The leak was fixed and the roof is good as new. I would recommend.

He was incredible. He stayed with us through the whole process with our insurance. He didn't bug us for money when our insurance took forever to pay. He was just so helpful with everything. He even recommended a youth group for my son to go to. He was here when the adjuster was here, there was some question about a tree that fell, it affected our neighbors more than us and the insurance was not going to cover it. He pointed out places where the shingles had blown off and the storm had done some damage.We were concerned about the roof, the insurance paid for it and paid for part of the tree removal. I really feel that Doug was instrumental in working this out. He was professional, he wasn't pushy. Everything about him was top notch. He was A+++. I felt like everything he did was excellent. He took care of the job. There was one problem with the sky light he put in, he immediately replaced it. If I ever need another roof, he is the guy I would call.

Thorough quote but way too expensive. Catchy company name. Received much better price from other A-rated roofers. Did not see any reason to pay more!

They did a quality job. Award Roofing was not the cheapest nor the most expensive, but I felt I was dealing with honest, experienced roofers and not salespeople, and they really knew what they were talking about. Justin and Doug were responsive, answered all my questions (and I had a lot), and were on the job site frequently. Their crew was amazingly hard working. We also know that we have no leaks because of all the torrential rain we have gotten in the last week - nice to be able to confirm that after a re-roof! I highly recommend Award Roofing!

Doug returned my initial call within a couple minutes.. Justin was at my home within hours to give us a price. We did get other estimates, but Award Roofing's reputation and promptness to our initial inquiry put our minds at ease and we decided to go with them. We were under a time crunch to get the project completed when decided to move forward with Award Roofing. Justin moved mountains to get us installed the very next week. The installation was perfect. The crew worked their butts off and got the entire roof replaced in a day. Justin came out after and spent time walking me thru the finished project, making sure i was completely happy. Great job!!

Lowest price after 5 quotes from reputable roofers. Did a great job on the roof, had one minor leak afterwards around a pipe vent and they came back immediately and fixed the vent.

The repair was done quickly and efficiently. The repairman cleaned up the yard before leaving. Very courteous and professional!

I was having some roofing problems and what they did was they went all over the roof and resealed all the pipes and any shingles that were cracked. I had a leak in one place and they fixed that. They put my roof back in shape so it will last a few more years. The individual they sent was very knowledgeable. He wasn't just a handymen. He understood roofing and the under lament of the actual shingles and what might cause certain problems.
