The finished product looks great. They did exactly what they said they would do. Their employees were polite and friendly and cleaned up so well you wouldn't even know they were here. I would highly recommend using this company.

PERFECT. The quality of work and materials was outstanding and their services very professional. The crew was here each day when we were told they would be here and was always very courteous and responsive to our questions and requests for minor changes. The value in the work and deck was well worth the price they charged, and we will not hesitate to use them in the future or recommend them to our neighbors. The job was done fantastically, very professional. We couldn't have been more pleased. Wish all contractors and work was this great.

The main office called ahead of the project to ensure we were ready for the work to begin. The crew of two showed up on time and completed the work in a timely manner. They were respectful and did a great job of the installation and clean up.

They did a good job of matching the curve of the existing fences although the posts were slightly different on top from the existing ones (we discovered this after they were delivered, and it was close enough, so I just went with it). My only issue was about 4 of the pickets were a much darker color wood, but they came out and replaced them no charge. I also had to remove the white stickers on the bottoms of the pickets in places where you could see them (such as under the gate). It would have been nice if they had done that. Still, the fence looks great and the price was reasonable.

Dave Tibbetts was an outstanding contractor. The price was competitive for a 2nd floor deck. The work was done quickly and efficiently with a minimum of inconvenience. I would use them again in a heartbeat. I looked for a long time for a good company and they are the best.

Provider came out and we discussed what I wanted done, provided a contract and quote within the week, and started work once all of the building permits and HOA approvals were complete. Overall project took about 4 months but there were many weather related delays. We are very pleased with the new addition to out home.

From start to finish, the process was seamless. The design of the deck was exactly what we wanted and Rod actually talked us out of a few options that would have increased the expense. Construction was initially scheudled to be completed in late December, but the crew and management worked their butts off to get it done before our Christmas party on the 13th. I don't have anything negative to say. This wasn't the cheapest option we looked at (another company beat the price by $2500 or so) but I think that the quality of the deck is top notch and I'm very glad we went with AD&F.

They did a great job on both services. They were the low bidder on the deck and we were very happy with the quality of work and the personal care. The deck and porch turned out beautifully and drew many compliments from the neighbors. This week we had them install a corral board (horse) fence with aluminum gate on a sloped and rather difficult yard. Again the price was very fair and the work product appears to be excellent. The crew was very accommodating and consulted with us frequently to be sure the end result would be what we wanted.

Where do I start? First let me say that I like my deck. First encounter with the sales person was very positive. Knows his stuff. Gave me good suggestions, was responsive. Guys that built the deck did a good job. Somwhere did it go wrong? Interaction with the owner Dave. Even though I asked them specifically to anchor the deck to my house in the s ame manner as the existing deck and it was quoted that way Dave insisted on doing it his way. Basically told me that I didnt know anything, his sales guy didnt know anything, he was the best and smartest deck person out there, etc. I am paraphrasing. So come inspection time, the Forsyth county building inspector wouldnt pass it because of the method used to attach to the house.Really? Back and forth for over a month with independent engineers, inspections, letters, core samples, etc. until they finally passed it. All this time having to listen to Dave tell me how stupid the Forsyth county inspectors are. By the way, they did pay for all of that. What galled me in the end was Dave's insistence that I pay him the original price instead of the revised price that we had agreed to since he had to spend money on the engineers and letters. The whole thing was caused by his inability to understand the code. In the end I paid him just to get it done. I had to wait until now to write this review so that I could be objective. It was one of the worst experiences I have every had with a business owner. Very unprofessional. I feel sorry for his employees and future customers. To sum it up, issue is not with the deck, sales, or the builders. All about the owner.

I would say their workmanship and their innovation of designs and working with me on some of the things that I wanted were greater qualities I liked best about them. They are local to here in Cumming, I am in Cumming, they are in Cumming and they have quality workmen. I would say they were very competitive, I wouldn't say they were cheap, but they were competitive. For me, it is all about quality.

I had several estimates and decided to go with Atlanta Decking and Fence Co. I could not be happier. The team of David and Wesley was punctual, professional, and paid careful attention to detail. They stayed in close contact with me as the project progressed, graciously answered all questions throughout the week, and kept me informed of city inspections. The company is exceptional, and the owner came by on the final day to check on a few details and make certain we were satisfied. Our deck is wonderful, and I would highly recommend them. A+ in all areas - a superior company!

They did a fantastic job! When they left I had the beautiful deck I have always wanted. They even gave me pointers finishing the deck after the oils in the wood have evaporated. The finishing touches were better than I would have done myself. The quality of construction is terrific. The carpenters were professional, courteous and efficient. They really knew what they were doing! I would recommend them to any future client.

We used this company to install a composite deck in 2006. That deck (and perhaps all composite products) literally fell apart so bad that the manufacturer gave us more than 100% of the amount that this contractor originally paid for the material. Although we thought about going to another contractor, we stayed with this one and now regret that choice. Timing of the start and end of the job were never a concern for us - but quality of the project was suspect. In the original installation, a gate installed on the deck never worked correctly, despite three revisits by the company to fix it - the site manager claims that there is no way that a gate can be installed on a deck that it will work correctly over time. This current deck job required a tear out of all of the old decking and installation of prime pine decking, including all railings, reinstallation of the deck lighting (all of the old lights worked), and reinstallation of all rail caps. The job started on Monday 8 July but rain slowed the work every day. There was little attempt to police (clean) the job site daily. On Saturday morning, the owner showed up and started cleaning the area because he didn't like the condition of the site while the job was in process. He called in two of the crew management to move materials off my lawn, a job with which I assisted. The crew came back on Monday 15 July at 2 PM and (seemed to) complete the work at the end of the day (7 PM), because they sanded the rail caps, took a blower to the deck and to some (about 1/4th) of the patio below it, took all of their tools and materials, and left for the day. On Tuesday morning the 16th the crew's work trailer was removed; and all of the site trash was left on my front lawn. I wrote an email to the company President on Monday evening and heard back from him on Tuesday that the crew would return for a walk through and job completion - what was not completed was that the furniture was left on the lawn, the site was not fully policed, the trash was not removed, and the new gate was not installed - and there was never a final walk through. Hearing nothing from anyone by midday Wednesday the 17th, two days after the crew left the job, I cleaned the entire work area myself (picking up more than a quart of nails and screws that were left on the deck and patio beneath it), cleaning off all of the sawdust that was left on the patio (every chair had two inches or more of dust), and moving all of the furniture to the patio. Two crew management people showed up at 5:30 that afternoon / evening for a walk through, and I told them to come back on Thursday, because I had already done all of THEIR clean up, but they had to remove their trash, install my gate, fix some of the lights (all of which worked just fine before), and replace a badly gouged rail cap. The crew came back at 8 AM on Thursday the 18th to complete these requirements. We also complained that the product that was used did not appear to be prime pine product because it had what we perceived to be too many knots, some so bad that it appeared they would pop out in a week or less. We were basically argued with that this is what you get and the crew is too busy to look at the knots on decking to put knot sides up, down, or facing away from view. In summary - don't use this company if you care about the quality of your job site. While the company President cares about what happens, the production crews only seem to care about getting each job done so they can move on to the next job. Cleaning up the site, showing care for your lawn, your gardens, and your property, or communicating with clients seems to only happen AFTER you complain to the President. I strongly recommend that you find a company in which the President is actively engaged in the jobs, in which the production managers are not arguing about how good they are at what they do and why you, the customer, need to agree with what they think, and one in which senior citizen customers do not have to complete the clean up and furniture moves on their own. Plus, you'll get much better pricing from the competition. This company's work crew management is more interested in going from job site to job site, and asking for your payment, than in asking if the job quality meets your expectations and if you are satisfied with the job. Now that I've had this company beat up my property and good nature on two jobs, and not show any respect for me, my property, preferences or requirements, I cannot possibly recommend that anyone use this company unless you what you want is a good deck from a sloppy production company with zero customer service skills.

Experience went great over all. I had received several quotes and I'll admit that Atlanta Deck and Fencing was not the cheapest. I would say because of Angie's professionalism and ability to answer all my questions and make me feel comfortable was one of the biggest reasons I chose them. The other big reason was I wanted it done before the end of summer and they penciled me in. I really appreciated that. Rain kept delaying us a few days, but no biggie, I work from home. I noticed about 85% complete of the project there was a mistake. I pointed it out to the crew and with a quick couple adjustments that fixed it the way I wanted it. Excellent. Was happy about that. Great job, looks great.

From start to finish, it went GREAT! We interviewed 3 contractors and decided after much deliberation to go with Atlanta Decking and Fence. They by far surpassed our expectations in construction quality, the amount of time it took to complete the project and their knowledge of building decks. Atlanta Decking and Fence is a solid company. Ran by a man who knows how to build a deck and run a successful business. They pay attention to details, work well with city inspectors, and listen to the homeowners. I honestly can not say enough wonderful things about our experience with Atlanta Decking and Fence. I promise you, You will never regret using Atlanta Decking and Fence. You will be so please with the outcome you'll find yourself gushing about them on Angie's List just like me!

They did a very good and quick job. No messes left and gutters are cleared.

Would have considered them in my project if they had bothered to call me back.

We brought in three companies for bids. Atlanta Decking & Fence Company was by far the most attentive to our design requirements. Their sales representative came out on multiple occasions to answer our questions as we refined what we wanted. The other two companies would not. Once we finalized our plans, we received a detailed quote with schematic to insure what we would pay for is what we would get. The other two companies were not nearly as detailed. Since Atlanta Decking & Fence provided a quote in the middle of our three price points, selecting them was easy. The project was scheduled and completed on time and to our satisfaction. The workmanship was very good and the addition surpassed all of our expectation. Fast forward almost 12 months. My wife noticed that there was a slight loose spot in a section of the railing Atlanta Decking & Fence had installed. I called and expressed our concerns. Less than a week later, a representative of Atlanta Decking & Fence was at our front door. To my surprise, he was the owner of the company! He reviewed the situation, took some pictures, described what he thought needed to be done and promised it would be repaired to our satisfaction...at no charge! The reinforcements were made without us having to be home and again...at no charge. We would highly recommend Atlanta Decking & Fence company.

The process could not have gone more smoothly than it did. I called Atlanta Decking and Fence to get a quote for the job after I received a ridiculous quote from another contractor that was 2.5 times the quote I received from AD&F. Tim came down within a couple of days and verified that they would be able to meet the quote that he provided over the phone. After another couple of days, his guys came down and removed the section of the railing where the steps would be built and built the stairs within 4 hours. The entire process was complete within a week even though most of their jobs are done OTP North and he had to come out of his way to get down to our house in Brookhaven. Nothing was lost on the quality of the wood or the build because of the lower quote. Everything was perfect.

Salesman was courteous and professional and called several times to check up and make sure everything was going as planned. Work was done well and very quickly. I'm extremely happy with the results. My only nitpick was that is took them a few weeks and a couple reminder phone calls to do some follow-up work when one of the gates wouldn't open far enough. It was early spring and their busiest time I'm sure, so I cut them some slack, but a faster response would've been appreciated.

They just did an excellent job. It is really an outstanding job. They are professional, and have creative ideas. They do what they say they will do. They get out here and get the job done. They come back if there are any problems, and they don’t leave until everything is just like they said it would be. They have a lot of pride and craftsmanship in their work, and they do present a superior product. They are not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. I would use them again, no matter what.

It went great. They were awesome. I would use them time and time again. As far as any other people in Atlanta, I would put them at the very, very top.
