Amos Pump Service

Had an appointment to get our well pump checked on Thursday. It died the Saturday before the appointment. They came our on Saturday afternoon and had it fixed before dark. Amazing dedication to customer service and never once complained. Just got the job done to restore our water. Thank you Amos Pump Service! I could not recommend them more. I'll never call anyone else.

Very, very well! Billy had another job earlier in the day, but kept me aware of the situation and came by to take a look at around 4:30pm. While I was convinced the lack of water pressure was caused by the main water line from the street, Billy checked everything out and, in less than 30 minutes, figured out where the problem was located and what to do. And, of course, it was not the main water line (as I suspected). In fact, Billy figured out the problem and got the water pressure back on without putting a shovel in the ground!! Who knows what would have happened if I contacted a less-experienced, less-credible individual... Fantastic job!!

I've had Amos out to my Canton residence several times to clean out my failing septic system. Most of the time they came out the day of or the next day a called them.

Did service on time and professionally. Definitely experts in their field.

They were very responsive, scheduled to arrive in 2 - 3 hours after calling and even arrived early. Were honest as to only what part needed to be replaced and completed the work quickly. I would recommend them to anyone and will use them again.

Very well....pun intended. FYI I rated price as a "B" but honestly, I think it could have been much worse. They spent some time troubleshooting and avoided pulling the well pump up...in my opinion a sign of true professionals. They could have made a **** of a lot more money off of me if they wanted. Additionally, Billy, the owner showed up part way through the job even though their office is a good 30 minutes away. Ended up the leak was a failed pvc joint out in the yard. They found it without digging using a very large "cake tester". A small, hand-dug hole, some new couplings and a bit of glue and we're back up and running. They also pumped up the well-tank bladder, swapped out some tired parts and installed an additional check valve while they were here. I heartily recommend them for well servicing.

Our technician from Amos Pump Service came the following day to diagnose and replaced our tank on the spot. The procedure only took about an hour and they the new tank is working beautifully again.

It didn't. I called them (during business hours), reached voicemail, and left a voicemail explaining what I needed and requested a call back. I never heard back so I went with someone else.

The team that showed up were very prompt and efficient. The quickly located the tank, put tarps down to hold the soil and grass and cleaned the area after they were through.

They did a good job. I only paid for the big deal. There was nothing else I paid on top of it. Everything was great about them. I had no dislike. Everything was fine. They were very professional. They came on time. They came with what they estimate; no extra and no surprises. I will definitely use them again.

After a particularly heavy rain I noticed that the well water in my newly purchased home had clouded up a bit. I contacted Amos Pump and they came out and went over the various situation that could cause my issue and what they thought would be the best way to address it. I agreed that as a initial attempt it made sense to raise the well pump up off of the bottom of the well and install a whole house water filter. I made an appointment to have the work performed and it was done as they said it would be. The water has improved dramatically and is normally clear. I am going to play around with various filter options and see what happens. The bottom line is that these guys didn't come out to the house and tell me that the sky was falling and I would need to spend thousands to take care of the issue. They didn't promise me that my water would be 100% perfect after the intial work was performed. They told me the truth and said that this is the way they recommended going initially and that if I wasn't happy with the water quality after the job was done that there were other options available to me. I would strongly recommend, these are local people that make the customers feel like a neighbor instead of a number. Thanks

Definitely a great value. Called at 8am, they came at 9am. Did a great job after locating my tank. Will use them again in the future.

They arrived when they said they would. They had quoted us a different price, but that was before they found out they were going to have to make the repair. But they showed my husband what needed to be done and gave us a fair price to repair it. They also filled in the hole where they dug down to the tank and left the landscaping around the tank just like they found it. t's a dirty job, but they did it quickly and efficiently.

Went fine. They came, did the job, and left. Nothing unusual happened, which is what you want. Had checked with a competitor previously, and found that they had a bad reputation online. The other guys had all kinds of disclaimers and limits on what they'd do and advertise a cheap price that almost no one will qualify for. Amos' pricing is straight forward and realistic. The price I was quoted was for a 1500 gallon tank, which is what we have. There were no upcharges and no disclaimers assuming the tank didn't have hidden damage that had to be repaired. (And there was no damage.) Workers were professional, courteous, and informative. Very satisfied. There was a discount at the time for Angie's List customers.

Great. The guys arrived on time and went to work immediately trying to locate the septic tank. We purchased the home in Milton about two weeks prior and were told that the tank had never been pumped out by the prior owners of 7 years. obviously concerned about a potential maintenance issue, I searched and found Amos Pump Service on Angie's List. They came out on 3 days notice and located the tank, dug it up and safely navigated through our irrigation system and wiring in the process. What could have been a very messy job, went well. Both guys have worked for the company for over 10 years and they were very knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in the Alpharetta/Milton GA area.

they were originally scheduled to pump the septic tank but when the tank was found, it was under a concrete slab. They charged a nominal fee for the trip out and I have scheduled with them to come back out and take care of the concrete issue and pump the tank. They gave me options on what can be done to avoid the issue in the future. They called when they were running a little late which was appreciated. Polite and professional.

Arrived promptly, very professional, work accomplished quickly and neatly. Were very careful to replace dirt & sod at clean-out entrance. You could hardly tell it had been disturbed.
