Everything went off as planned. Jason and his crew arrived the time they stated, completed the work, and left my property in perfect condition. I could not be more pleased with the process and the results.

The workers all spoke English, which was a plus, and were extremely polite and professional. The foreman was very accommodating and even did a few extras for us without charging (such as nailing down loose deck pieces which were difficult to reach, and replacing outdoor floodlight bulbs near a very high roofline.) All the work was performed well, and they were here five or six days working very hard. I'm very pleased with all the carpentry repair, of which we needed much done. My only two small dissatisfactions are (1) that some of the clean-up was hastily done, and wasn't thorough. I did spend a fair amount of time going around the yard picking up debris, including a 3-foot rotten board with sharp nails sticking out of it. Some brown paint had gotten on the inside of the white window frames, and this was forgotten, too, so now I have brown paint fingerprints on my bedroom windows. The second dissatisfaction is that it doesn't look like all the debris was wiped off all the surfaces from the sanding and carpentry work, and was painted down into the windows. It creates a bit of a rough and sloppy look. There are a couple of places on the front of the house where the paint is blistering, but I expect that they will come fix it under the warranty. They might even fix the messy fingerprints if I ask them.

Excellent! I would be happy to recommend them to anyone who needs work on their house. They were prompt, very careful with furniture and planters and landscaping around the house. I was very pleased with their work and attention to detail.

This is a very long story and began on October 29. Jason Simpson's crew, lead by Faber, showed up after 11:00 a.m. and Faber reviewed work to be performed documented on the in-hand quote. Crew broke for lunch and began painting after 1:30. I called Jason Simpon that afternoon to notify him of the following concerns: my lack of confidence in Faber to install the floating floor (again, a long story), let him know of my dissatisfaction with the crew not using painter's tape to achieve clean lines (the crew doing trim work were 'free handing' and not good at it. Further, the crew also stood at ground level and reach up to paint top sections of door/window trim. The crew did not have basic tools to perform the work such as step ladders, ladders, drop cloths, wipe down cloths, painters tape and so forth. They actually took the grid trim out of basement windows and laid on floating floor underlayment to paint! Jason did not respond to my telephone call/message, yet the crew informed me the next morning he was to come visit. During Jason's visit I showed him the poor quality work being done in the basement, stressed my concern about the crew not taking care to protect floors, cover hardware and using my tools. Bottom line, I should have stopped this company from performing any further work, yet I let them continue as Jason assured me all would be fine. The overall quality of the work performed is 2 on a scale of 5 being best. Pictures are attached to illustrate and tell the story. On Monday, 11/12, Jason showed up with a number of crewmen to do a walk through to determine exactly what needed to be done to correct the issues. Soon after Jason showed up, the Sherwin-Williams rep also showed up; I met him last year when the work was being done on the exterior of my home. We exchanged "hello" and then I asked if he was here to review why the product on the exterior of the house was failing. He was not; he was "in the neighborhood" and decided to drop by. We all went into the house, upstairs first to review the multitude of issues: poor cut in at ceiling/corners resulting in paint overlap (two different colors of paint) or bleed through of former paint color (very dark from previous owner) at crown; several imperfections on walls that were not filled as part of the paint process; base mould trim paint was 'junked up' with wall paint overlap (crew did not tape off crown/base mould prior to painting until second wall/ceiling coat) and sand debris was scuff sanding of walls; all door/window/towel hangar/racks had varying levels of paint on them (crew did not tape off/cover prior to painting until second wall/ceiling coat). I actually had to 'put my foot down' and tell them they were not to do any work until they properly covered up floors/counters - jacuzzi tub/tile were never covered and I am still cleaning the paint overlap on trim/flat tile and inside tub. After review of Master Bed/Bath, we all moved to the front guest bedroom. This room had to be completely 'kilzed' due to contractor created issue as a result of crewman overkill to patch nail/screw holes in walls. Instead of using the amount of product required to simply fill the hole or imperfection, the crewman took a trowel of mud and swiped over wall sections to create many sections that 'erased' the texture in these areas. Once the walls were painted, the sections showed obvious since they had no prior layer of paint or texture, as the balance of the walls. The crew leader, Faber, determined the best fix was to tape rectangle/square section, prime/seal (white color) with a heavy nap roller to try to bring back the texture. After this dried the walls were painted again; it did not work because the wall color is a burgundy/red with several coats of the dark color and repair sections had white primer/sealer under a single coat of burgundy/red. Further, flashing occurred around the sections. During our visit to this room, Jason ridiculed me to the Sherwin-Williams rep, telling him the only way you could see the problem (as he acted this out) was to lean your head on the wall and look at it sideways AND there was a picture that would cover it up. Once he did this, well, I was already extremely frustrated with Jason blaming me/my property for obvious, poor quality work being performed by his employees, so this pushed the wrong button and I confronted him. Specifically I asked him if he was stating that the issues with the wall were not really a probably and "I was too picky" (he said this many times during our walk through). He said he just did not feel it was that big of a deal, especially since I had pictures that would cover it up!!! So, the meeting digressed from here. I raised my voice and told him I did not appreciate him blaming me for the lack of professionalism, care and quality from his crew/company. If there were just a few spots, areas that needed touch up, it is one thing - I have a scatter bomb of blue painters tape sections all over every room, top to bottom, that All About Painting performed work. Well, it continued to go 'down hill' and we went down the stairs and Jason told SW rep and Crew Chief "Let's go." Once outside, I asked him if by leaving he had no intention of fulfilling warranty work (5 year warranty) for the issues from last year's project. He stated they would take care of it (Whew!!). I then asked if he felt we would be able to work through these issues to correct and complete the project. He stated I was too picky and he just did not feel they could satisfy me. He also asked SW rep what he thought about the quality of work ...oops, not a smart move, especially for SW rep who has nothing to do with the agreement, he was 'just in the neighborhood'. Well SW rep responded with " I have seen worse." I laughed and told Jason that was not "exactly a compliment". Regardless, they all left except for the crew working on exterior warranty issues. Me, well, every room where work was performed by All About Painting is incomplete. I am doing all the clean up and keeping a detail excel file of type/time which I will use to reduce payment to All About Painting. Jason asked for partial payment, even though he states no payment until work is complete/customer is satisfied. I processed webpay from my bank for $1300.00/balance due $1255.00 and canceled payment on Monday after our meeting. I intend to pay something, as people did perform work. Unfortunately, what I have to do to correct the work performed is far more time/labor than if I had done the painting from the start. I will attach excel file which details type and time currently logged.

As desired..quick, efficient, and thorough

Quick response for call for bid. Bid included repair of some rotted or warped wood that I hadn't caught. Work was scheduled and completed as they said it would be. Excellent work, friendly workmen, tidy and great cleanup. Would definitely use them again.

No response from contracor to calls for an estimate.

The owner, Jason Simpson, responded quickly to my request for an estimate. He was professional, had all the right measuring tools to give an honest estimate. He returned a written estimate via e-mail within 2 days. The staff that came to perform the work was very pleasant, professional, and very accomodating. I was very pleased with their work, attitude and the end result is beautiful. All About Painting gives a 5 Year Gurantee on all work performed! I would absolutely recommend All About Painting to anyone!

I had a hard time rating this company. While the work was average, the owner was very responsive over email. However, it would have been better if he came to my house to inspect the damage his painters caused. Nonethleless, he did agree to pay for all repairs without hesitation. Without going into too much detail, my biggest problem was with his crew who cut corners and did not self inspect their own work and hoped I would not notice damage and poor quality work. If this job went well, I was going to have them paint my rental property. However, I need a company that manages its jobs more closely so problems do not occur. I am going to try another painting company from Angies List.

We used All About Painting Contractors in May. They painted a two-story family room, a two-story foyer, the kitchen, a back hallway and two stairways and they touched up the ceiling. They painted the exterior front of the home and repainted the stucco and the trim that is made of stucco. They built shutters right on my driveway, installed them and painted them. They also painted my front door.

Everything went great! They made sure everything (furniture, etc) was covered before they started painting. They cleaned up at the end of each work day and when the job was finished they cleaned up again.I was extremetly pleased with their work and would not hesitate a moment to recommend them to anyone.I know that I will definitely be using them again!

Contractor had to cancel original apptointment (5/25) for personal issues , but gave less than 24 hours notice. He was going to contact me a day later to and let me know if he could come by and do the work estimate(5/26). I did not hear from them until 3 days later (5/29) and the reason was again of a personal nature. I totally understand that things happen unexpectedly, but I was on a very strict timeline to get the work done and could not wait for call backs and /or cancelled appointments. I specifically searched for contractors on Angies List to avoid this type of situation.

I can't say enough good things about them. They arrived on time, did the job exactly as we wanted, and kept the house clean during the project. For what they did, the price seemed very reasonable.

All of the work described was done with expertise and absolute concern for endurance and beauty.I would recomend this contractor to every one I know or who happens to ask who did this work.

I selected All About Painting Contractors from six different companies due to my comfort level with Jason. He was responsive, detailed with his quote and nice. The crew that performed the work was professional, kept their work areas clean and cleaned up each night before leaving. Unfortunately, in less than one year the majority of the paint on the front windows has 'failed', as well as repair work on front door wood sections at bottom of sidelights (inside and outside the house). I found several downspouts were not painted thoroughly and you see new paint line against old paint on sides and/or red stain when previous owners painted the deck. One section of downspout was not removed at all and none of the siding underneath was painted. In addition, two siding replacement boards were not cut properly to meet the roofline. All About Painting Contractors is in process of performing the warranty work. And, as with my most recent encounter, I have concern related to quality of work to rectify the initial work performed. One of the siding replacement boards was pieced in rather than one single length, as original. I have sent Jason Simpson an email related to the need for this to be redone. It is not necessary to piece in, and the seam (naturally a weak point) is right under a window where water run-off may degrade the overall life and performance of the replacement siding.

Overall, things went well. The owner is a nice guy that was easy to deal with. He has a foreman of sorts that runs the crew who is also nice and professional to deal with. They were good about getting the work done in the time frame they projected.

Jason and his crew chief Faber were very responsive and All About Painting Contractors Inc did a great job on the house with little supervision. I couldn't be more pleased. The house looks great. Faber knocked out the small final punch out list and everything was perfect.

They were fantastic, very neat and very trustworthy. In fact I had them come back couple of times since then. Their pricing and quality were good. I would rate them highly. I would use them again in the future.

Very professional crews that always had at least one English speaking member for coordination. They all worked very hard with few breaks. Enough people to get it done quickly. High-quality materials. The final cost was higher than the quote since they found additional brick-molding and facia areas that needed to be replaced. I was always made aware of additional problems and issued a revised quotation estimating the additional repairs. I did not feel that any of it was excessive or made-up to increase the cost. It was all necessary. During this time period the owner was going through some family emergencies but he kept the crews running smoothly and I never felt that they were not attending to my needs. Highly recommended! I will use them again for some interior work soon.

His crew arrived on Wednesday 2/28 and completed the job in about 2 1/2 hours. This is the 2nd time I've used All About Painting Services and I'm pleased to say that Jason and his crew continue to live up to their high reputation. I highly recommend All About Painting Inc. We intend to use their services to paint the exterior of our home next year and we already have a quote.

They were very thorough and they did a good job. I didn't compare them to any other company. The guy was going through some times with his father, but he was pretty responsive.

I called and left a message for Jason to call me back and set up an appointment to quote a large job needing to be done. I finally received a response and set up an appointment but had to change it due to a scheduling conflict. I left a message explaining the conflict and offered another date to perform the quote. Once again, I didn't get a response and removed All About Painting from our list of potential contractors. Needless to say, I am less than satisfied with the lack of urgency or interest.

Very good experience. Professional, polite crew, easy to talk with and responsive to comments, pointed out items that needed additional work and got my approval before completion. Good quality paint job with great results. Performed various window sill, corner board and fascia board and gutter repairs as needed. House looks brand new! Not the cheapest around but you get what you pay for. The crew did not hurry but took the time needed to do the job right. I would definitely recommend All About Painting and will use them again in the future.

Excellent - I cannot say enough. Quick response via e-mails and questions, and when some of the nail pops weren't fixed to my satisfaction, the crew was out quickly and they look amazing - you can't even tell they were there.

Fantastic Job!! The crew was on-time, very courteous, accommodating and cut no corners. We will definitely use All About Painting for the interior of our house.
