Advanced Disposal missed the first scheduled pickup after we moved. We called to complain and they apologized but didn't offer to schedule a make-up pickup. They blamed the missed pickup on a "new driver". They missed the second pickup the next week and so we called to complain again. Again the missed pickup was blamed on a "new driver". This time we demanded a makeup pickup the next day and they complied. The third and fourth pickups were made on schedule, though they left behind some of the trash each time (a couple of small cardboard boxes of trash--they are supposed to pick up everything in the can plus up to 5 garbage bags of additional trash). They then missed the fifth pickup and we called to complain again. We requested a makeup-pickup and they agreed to come, but told us that our service had actually been cancelled 3 weeks before. There was no explanation for how our service got cancelled or why the only two pickups they made on time were while our service was supposedly cancelled. Bottom line: They are the cheapest option around, but are extremely unreliable and incompetent.

Except for the ice storm, they showed up every day. The price is very competitive. They pick up trash in large paper bags, but if you call, they will pick up other types of trash that are hard to get rid of. I had them take away an office chair. They offer very good service.
