Found this company through Angies List website which saved me time searching for a home inspector. Gary E. is a highly-skilled professional home inspector. He is knowledgeable and detail-oriented. Also, the company responds to emails in a timely manner.

Overall wonderful experience. We were emailed both a complete and summary report within 24 hours of the service.

Megaera was a very pleasant delight to work with in scheduling the inspection. Gary was very thorough in inspecting the entire home. Being present during the inspection is helpful, as Gary answers your questions and explains many things about the home. The home was neglected and Gary was very honest in pointing out all the work that would need to be done to bring the house up to code. They emailed a very detailed report with photos to me the same day and offered to answer any questions.

I learned the hard way with a previous home purchase that a professional, unbiased inspectiion can be the best insurance against a costly mistake. This is the biggest reason why I joined Angie's List when I began shopping for a house in Atlanta. Accuspect lived up to its excellent reviews. The owner, Gary, performs every inspection himself and no more than one per day, so that he can devote all the time necessary to the job. He arrived promptly at 8:30 a.m. and worked well into the afternoon, examining every corner of the property from basement to attic to rooftop. He pointed out potential problems and explained in detail why some of these flaws were in urgent need of correction, while others could be left alone for a few years without causing further harm. Nothing escaped his notice - not even the fact that I would need to be about a foot taller to safely use the pull-down attic stairs, which were awkwardly located over the basement stairwell. A detailed written report and photographs were emailed to me the same evening.

They were excellent. Their customer services, response to my needs were excellent. I had to change some appointments, and they were very understanding and still came out when I needed them. I couldn't recommend them high enough.

My home inspection was scheduled from 1 to 4 pm. I was a little late but Mr. Edge was already at work when I arrived at the property. I hired him based on the rave reviews from Angie's list and that's what I got. He was very detail-oriented and responsive from scheduling the inspection to sending me the report. I am a first time homebuyer and had a lot of questions. He patiently answered them and showed me the items that needed attention. He also gave me info that a homeowner would generally know. I was still at the property having measurements done with the carpet folks when he sent me the summary and detailed report of his findings. I would definitely hire him again if I need another home inspection.

This was by far the best home inspection I have seen. Gary is professional, well qualified and basis all reviews on current state and county codes. Gary is extremely patient and positive while staying focused on making sure all is okay. Gary sets the standard for home inspections.

Gary was awesome! He was very professional, took the time to explain everything to me and was extremely thorough in his inspection. He found "code" violations that I would never have looked for (i.e 40 gal water heater installed vs. 50, 40 amp breakers were installed instead of 20 amp and he found some grading and drainage issues). He checked everything imaginable and spent about 5 hours on property. I received a very thorough and complete report (with pictures) the same day. I have already recommended him to everyone I know and my realtor intends to use him on future home sales.

Gary was right on time, and took the time to carefully explain to me everything that needed to be done.

I was purchasing a rental property in Georgia and wanted an inspector to give me a good overview of the property prior to my flying to Atlanta to look at the house myself. Megaera (Gary's assistant) was detail and customer service oriented, and understood my need for an inspection in the near future. She reserved an inspection appointment for me just two days in the future, and contacted my real estate agent to confirm the date. I had many questions and Megaera was patient and able to answer all of my concerns. Gary completed the inspection as promised, on time, and delivered the report to me the same day by email. I spoke with him regarding the report that evening and he was willing to take the time to discuss any questions or concerns I had with the home and the systems he inspected. I cannot praise Megaera and Gary enough for their excellent customer service, and would use them again in a heartbeat! Thank you Accuspect!

Great. Gary is knowledgeable, thorough, very personable and accommodating.

When I arrived he was already on the roof checking it out. He did a thorough inspection going back several times to check on things over the course of several hours. He had all the right equipment for the job from laser temp. gauges to electrical moisture measurement tools. He took the time to investigate all my areas of concern and explain what he found in detail. He also made clear which things really had to be fixed, which were optional, and which were probably not worth doing. He had good ideas for affordable alternatives to expensive repairs, too. Later in the evening he had already produced and sent a detailed report with photos. This was a great job from start to finish.

I don't even know why I bother to submit a report anymore since Gary has already built great reputation here on Angie's List. I think it's because I really want to! This is the first time I used Angie's and already I felt it was money well spent. I contacted Gary on a Friday and asked if he can come out the next day, Saturday, morning. He was able to accommodate that. My agent or I weren't able to let him in so early so he went by the house, got the selling agent's info, and called the agent for the combination to get in the house. Granted he doesn't live too too far, but he took the time and effort to do it and that shows a lot! The next day I arrived before he finished up. Total took him about 4+ hours. It's a traditional 2-story 4 bedroom house with a basement. After he was done he started showing me the problems and concerns he found. I could tell he went through great length and documented in detail. And it was obvious that he is very very knowledgeable in his profession. He is also very quick in producing the detailed report. I received it that night! Last but not least, what I appreciated most was his professionalism and attitude. He was very nice, honest, sincere, and friendly. Easy to talk to. Assured me that I should feel free to ask him questions if I have any later. Often I see business not being grateful for a job. Those who are grateful no matter how small or big the job is, I show the same gratitude to them. I appreciate Gary's help and being able to help me on such a short notice. I would give him my business any day without a question. Thank you, Gary.

The job was done to perfection by Gary. He was at the home in advance of the meeting time, started working immediately, worked very hard all day (it is a rather large home) and didn't even stop for lunch and worked until he was satisfied that he had looked at everything in and on the home that he could possibly see and test. He was there from 9am-6pm and showed me everything that was wrong with the home and everything I needed to know about the home's appliances, mechanical functions, etc. He also answered all of my questions with a great deal of patience. At 6pm we left and he said he'd have the full report and pictures to me by 10pm. Well, the report and pics had been emailed to me by 10pm, as promised, and I feel very confident about purchasing this home....if, of course, the sellers will complete the necessary repairs that Gary indicated needed doing. He is the BEST!

Gary is a code certified inspector and knows his job well. He spent the whole day at my house and was very thorough. I highly recommend him for your home inspection.

We called Gary on Monday night and he came for inspection on Wednesday 9pm. When My husband went to the house, Gary was there and checking the roof already. He did the inspection for solid 5 hours. He found many tricky thing to be repaired in that house. Many of these are very tricky and easy to miss for an ordinary technician. My husband and I are very impressed with Gary's service. He explained everything to my husband about our new house. The same day night he emailed a detailed description of all the problems he found in the house with photos. We are so glad that we went with Gary, otherwise it would have been terrible if we find these problems once we close and move into the house.

I sent an e-mail requesting a home inspection late one night and woke early the next morning to an immediate response. I then called Gary Edge (the inspector) to set up the appointment. Gary arrived early for our 9AM appointment (following his 2 hour drive to the house) and was ready to get right down to it. He was professional, knowledgeable and quite a guy. As I don't live in the area and had nothing else to do, I shadowed him most of the 7.5 hours he was there. I can't imagine how anyone could be more thorough. He was very candid about what things were issues and identified priorities as to what needed addressed immediately or later, and even suggested what types of corrections were appropriate. Despite the lengthy inspection and his upcoming 2 hour drive home, he seemed genuinely interested in answering all of our questions and in no hurry to get going. He still managed to e-mail our report to us that night (late, of course) and did an excellent job of documenting, both in words and pictures, all the issues we'd discussed (and a few small ones we hadn't discussed). I couldn't believe the wealth of information we received for the cost! This inspection/education would have been worth it at twice the price!

Gary was very professional and thorough. He did a great job inspecting a potential rental property for us and then provided us with a very comprehensive report afterwards. We will definitely use Gary and Accupsect again.

I called Friday about noon, and he was at the new house ten minutes before our nine o'clock appointment the next morning. He had circled the exterior of the house twice before I even arrived -- despite the fact that it was pouring down rain. Prior to entering the home, he put on shoe covers and provided a spare pair for me to use. He then walked me through his process and told me to come back in about 5 hours for his results. Upon my return, Gary spent an hour answering all of my questions. He even shared photos from his inspection of the roof (and, yes, it was still raining!). I don't typically rave about service providers, but Gary was one of the most professional, most thorough, and most conscientious folks with whom I have had the pleasure of working. Job well done!

I did not attend the inspection. My realtor accompanied Gary, the owner, during the home inspection. Gary spent 4 hours on a new construction townhome. The report was very detailed and I was very satisfied with the results. I have recommended this company to several coworkers who were all pleased, as well.

They were great since the beginning! Gary Edge, who performed the inspection, was amazing! It's my first house in the USA, I'm from Brazil, and it's difficult to understand all the new stuff, but Gary was very patient and answer all my stupid questions! He is very professional, always punctual. He is easy to communicate with and works well with clients. He makes me, as a realtor, look good. He is honest and helpful to the buyers. He is my number one home inspector!

Mr. Edge arrived on time to begin his 6 hour inspection on our 5 bedroom, 5 full baths, and 2 half baths home. He explained exactly what he would be doing during the inspection. At the end of his inspection, he reviewed issues with the home that needed immediate attention and provided a typed out summary report. A few hours later a full report was emailed and followed up with a phone call to ensure receipt of the document and to call with any questions.

We called to schedule an appointment and wereable to schedule a Saturday AM appointment. AccuSpect showed up promptly at 9:00 and we had a brief discussion of what we thought were problem areas. He then began the inspection process which took about 5 hours. During the inspection he was happy to answer questions and offer advice. After the inspection we felt very confidet that he had made the right choice. Two hours after he left we had an e-mail in our box with a 39 page report.

Gary was prompt, thorough, and professional, as well as personable. He basically spent all day on our home inspection, which we appreciated. We would use him again, and we recommend him without reservation.
