Wonderful! Brent was super slammed with larger projects than mine, but managed to squeeze me in (rain delayed one of his scheduled outdoor projects) because I was desperate to get the mirror frame installed (it was very much in the way uninstalled). He was originally scheduled just for the mirror frame, but I asked if we could add on the other smaller issues because I was impressed with him as a person and his work product after he got there. He added in the extra bits without complaint and even made a quick trip to Home Depot for a missing part that was needed. When we realized a second Home Depot trip would be needed because more was wrong with the closet overhead light than originally thought, he walked me through how to perform the simple fix myself. The pricing was beyond reasonable, and I would use Brent again in the future for any home repair needs. Highly recommended!

Total experience was excellent, from initial interview to closing check-writing. Brent is a super 'can do' person who has all the skills necessary to work on your home. Assistant Jody is a superior painter with fine-line detailing talent. We would have been remiss to have hired anyone else. Total Home Repair came in under budget. Don't waste your time doing any other interview/estimates!

Brent came in to see what I wanted done and gave me an estimate. He and his associate came on the agreed upon date with all of the materials needed to complete the job along with the receipt showing me what it cost. They completed the jobs in less time than he originally thought it would take, therefore costing me less than he quoted. I would definitely have Brent do other work for me.

No Follow-up. I sent an email on 12/27 requesting follow-up and did not hear back. Never received estimate for work to be completed.

My husband and I were happy with the end results. Brent is someone I would recommend instantly and wouldn't hesitate using again.

The good: Brent was clearly knowledgeable. He really spent time trying to figure out where the water was coming from, and he uncovered an additional issue with our patio. (It turned out it wasn't quite the issue we thought it was - the hole was improper, but not leading to the leakage. It was still very helpful). The bad: Although I was clear that I needed advanced notice to confirm the appointment, Brent waited until very short notice to confirm; I was very clear about when I needed to leave, and we barely had time for him to finish - he didn't actually have time to give an estimate on another project I'd asked him about. During the week it took to get his estimate, we uncovered an additional problem and sent him info and a photograph so he could include this info in the estimate. When the estimate arrived, it did not include this info; I inquired and he said he couldn't find it. I resent the info and asked the estimate be reworked to consider it; I never heard from him again. I think he knows what he's doing, he just wasn't able to follow up properly.

Overall experience was wonderful and they will be back to do more work for me next month.

I have had Brent do many things for me. He always did a great job and his prices were very reasonable. This time, I called him and he was out within a day to fix the problem.

Brent was super. He did everything from the tiniest thing that was glued back wallpaper corners to repairing stucco and repainting. He could not had been more professional. He was polite on time. He was about his business and I really appreciated that. He offered to do things that were not on my list. I know now why he has received so many positive reviews.

Took less than a half hour from the time he arrived until he left. Friendly and helpful.

There is no particular story. I expressed my concern for not having to wait because of the leak. They made an exception in their schedule to make the visit, which I appreciated.

Finding someone to do this type of work, someone who would even come take a look, was an issue. The one company which did submit an estimate previously was very nice and would have done a good job I'm sure, but estimated cost and time was four time as high-think they gave worst case estimate if the whole chimney had to be replaced. Total Home Repair guys were here the day they said they would be, got the work done in the single day they had estimated at the cost they had quoted, went ahead and painted the whole side of the chimney so the siding would match. Very satisified. Only issue would be that they are scheduled several months out, so possibly might not work for "emergency" repairs.

Brent was on time and approximately 30 45 minutes we agreed what I needed to be done,which was to install key pad and new remote for my garage door, install a new sensor light at the side of the house and replace back patio light. Timeframe to complete this project was one hour. We agreed that he would purchase the items needed to do the installation. I was very impress with the timeframe in which he completed the job. Excellent! Excellent! service. Brent was extremely proffessional and I will be using hime for other projects.

Mr. McCurdy called the day before and stated he would be here at 11AM...he arrived 10 mins early...a major PLUS in my book! He surveyed the situation and immediately began deductive work as we had previously hired a contractor that did some very unsatisfactory work with these lights which led to improper functionality. Mr. McCurdy asked several questions and kept plugging away. He finally discovered that improper installation and wiring had caused the ceiling fan and light to arc out and that improper wiring of the switches had let to functionality issues with the other light. With minutes, he had the wiring redone and found that the ceiling fan and light had blown out due to an arc. While replacing and resetting the light and fan were not in his scope of work, he was patient enough to work on the other light switch while I ran to the store to purchase a new fan and light. He immediately installed it and VOILA! Everything is now working again! Mr. McCurdy was conversational, yet hard working. He only engaged in social chatter when I engaged him showing me that he was focused, but personal and polite enough to chat with me. His attention to detail and professionalism was well blended with a gentle demeanor. I will use him for ALL of my home repairs in the future. I am very impressed and am completely satisfied!

Brent was terrific! He was most responsive to my call, listened and made suggestions of things I had never thought of. The work was completed as described, and we were very pleased with the results. Very personable and professional and eager to make sure that we were happy upon completion. Will use him again-- without a doubt.

THR has earned a customer. The gentlemen came and assessed the electrical problem and immediately began the work. His customer service skills were excellent and his detail for the work was precise.

We used them a few times. They are very reliable. They do call to remind me I need them.

Contacted Mr. McCurdy, met for an estimate, (on a Saturday!) price was fair, demeanor was excellent/ agreed to date of job/ right on time, (I also modified, and added items I wanted done, or deleted, by E-mail ! ).day of the job I was contacted by Mr. Mccurdy, and informed material needed was less then expected.....savings passed on to me, and I was able to again add on additional work I would like done. Called Brent for an appliance replacement which I bought. He came in and figured quickly it did not need replacing.....he fixed it. He is now my permanent repairman.

We have nothing but great things to say about the service and price.

The appointment went very well. I showed him the issues I was having on the two units and he provided simple solutions. I was quite pleased that the solutions were easy and completely inexpensive to fix. I will most definitely hire him again on my next handyman project.

He's a good communicator and they do good work and are respectful of your house.

He was unsure about how to remove the mortar. He also charged a trip fee for the estimate which the other contractors did not.

Brent arrived on Monday morning and we went over my list of projects. He quickly saw what was involved, set priorities and learned where previous paints and other supplies were stored. He then completed items on the list each day, managing his own time and requiring no supervision. Its took 8 working days to complete all items on the list but they were done in a most efficient manner. Brent is very professional and he treats your house as if it was his own - doing the work correctly as it should be done. We were extremely pleased with the results and would not hesitate to use Brent again or to recommend him highly.
