I will absolutely use this company in the future. I will have to call early because I intend to refer them to all my friends, family, and Church members. This is why I LOVE Angie's List.

Brent saved us at least $1,500 the last time he was here. We asked him for an estimate for replacing our exposed back deck. He suggested that he pressure wash it and paint it. That saved us at least $1,000, and it looked great. He saved us more money by using the vapor barrier we had already inexpertly installed, and properly re-installed it. He also installed a dehumidifier in the crawlspace. We were going to have Brent paint the inside of our screened porch, but he suggested that he first make repairs to the ceiling, then paint. It all looks GREAT! Brent is very professional and honest, communicates extremely well, is punctual, answers any question you have and doesn't talk down to you. He really cares about the quality of his work. It's even a joy to see the way he and Jody consult with each other and brainstorm on how to best complete a project He is the best contractor we've EVER had the pleasure to work with. And he actually LISTENS to you and hears what you're saying. Priceless!

They were on time and did a great job. We live in Florida and our son lives in the house. They talked with us and arranged everything, including the supplies payment, with us over the phone. Was very pleased.

Brent was able to come out sooner than originally planned. His work is excellent and would have been worth the wait. Last year, I had another company look at the basement doors and I was told they were hung crooked and couldn't be fixed. Brent adjusted them in no time and they still look good and close as they should. He matched the grout in my 18 year old bathroom so well you can't tell it was ever repaired.

He came to the house and looked over the areas first. He went over his notes with us so we would all be on the same page about what was to be done. He left to go to Home Depot to purchase the supplies. He came back did the work, cleaned up, and left. He did a good job and I plan to use him in the future.

He was very prompt, did a great job. He went above and beyond by finding the leak in the roof. He did even charge us any extra for fixing the leak. He is a great guy- he can do any and everything. He cleaned up, and was done in a day. It was amazing. I will use him for whatever I need in the future.

Brent McCurdy came to the house and gave me an estimate and ideas for both projects. I had to wait in line for about a month to get started on the project but, he advised me at the time of the estimate. I did not mind that at all because the reviews were so good and I was sure he would do a great job. When they started the project they showed up on time, picked up all the materials needed, worked hard the entire time they were here and cleaned up the mess every day. They did a wonderful job and I will most certainly be using their services again. I highly recommend them. Great guys too.

Brent McCurdy and his assistant Jody remodelled three bathrooms for us. They completely guttted two of the bathrooms and then installed new tile on the floor, built and tiled the new shower, installed cabinets, lights, fans, and the new toilet, doing all of the plumbing, electrical, and painting work themselves. In the basement full bath, we left the tile alone, but they installed new cabinets, lights, toilet, and plumbing and electrical fixtures. They did an outstanding job - top-quality. They are perfectionists and very easy to work with. When a problem arises, Brent always has a couple solutions and presents the pros and cons of each. This is the second major project that they have done for us and we are looking forward to hiring them for a third one in 2015. I strongly recommend them.

He was a very pleasant man, punctual, the price was about what I expected. The approximate cost is for labor only. We are going to remodel our main bathroom and make one huge walk-in closet out of two smaller side by side closets in the master bedroom. I can hardly wait until he gets started.

Fast forward to February, 2014. Had not heard a word from him and got in touch to find out when our job could get started. He stated the job he was currently working on had run way over the scheduled time as "the owners kept adding on things to be done". Forward again to April, 2014. Contacted Brent again and he was still working on two jobs that were on his schedule before ours. He stated he would give us a 2 week notice when he was ready to start. We received a call on a Friday in June that he could start the following Monday (two days notice, not two weeks) and then said he would really prefer to start the NEXT DAY. Ummmm, no. You can't give a homeowner 0-2 days notice to start a major project. Plus we were going out of town within a week and did not want to get started on something to then have to stop for up to a week. He stated he had a small job he could do before ours and we agreed to start after the July 4th holiday. I stated we had decided on some modifications to what we had originally discussed and that we probably would be dialing down the scope of the work. We agreed to discuss the changes when he was ready to start and I stated my husband and I would decide on exactly what we wanted done. Again he stated he would give us notice of when he was ready to go. July 4th comes and goes and..........crickets. Not a word from Brent. Emailed him asking when our job was to start. He responded by email that he understood me to mean we weren't ready to go at this time and had moved on to another job. At this point, we said enough is enough and informed him we would move on to someone else to have the work done. It is ridiculous that a job he said he could do in three months turned into a 10 month wait and the only communication that was passed was always initiated by us. While Brent may do outstanding work as pointed out in reviews here on Angie's List, his time management and communication skills need some definite work. He also stated in our last email exchange that he felt it only right to return our consultation fee of which we have to date, not received.

Their price was great, their work was great, and we had an overall great experience.

I have used him a couple of times and he was very good. He is great. The price was very good and it was fair. He was very good on punctuality. He did everything that was asked. He never left anything lying. He did exactly what he was supposed to do.

Everything went well! Brent was in and out very quickly and efficiently. He was very nice and friendly to me. My ice maker is still working fine to this day. I was very happy with the whole experience.

I spoke with Brent and explained the repair that I needed. He informed me that my problem wasn't something that could wait and he was booked up for the next 4 months. He said if I could not find anyone else to call him back, but it would be a long while before he could help me. I appreciated his honesty however, most home repairs cannot wait 4 months.

Brent and Jody did a good job delivering what we asked for.

He didn't do anything, but the response that I got was good. He gave me a free estimate. They assessed that the critters hadn't gotten in there, and they couldn't get in. I had also called them for painting the front door, but I did it myself.

I think that they were excellent. They were really good. They are honest, fast, and reliable.

It was good. I liked his promptness, his courtesy and his price. I just liked everything about it.

While Brent was too busy to meet my immediate needs, he was professional, concise, and quite helpful. Left me with, "and if there's anything questions I can answer regarding your project, even if I'm not going to do the job, do not hesitate to contact me." Though he's not available for my current project he is certainly on my list of 'good' contractors.

Failed to keep appointment or schedule another one.

Brent did a fantastic job. Contacted in October we had to wait our turn but it was well worth the wait. He communicates well and gets the job done quickly and meets all expectations. His pricing is fair and honest and he does the work looking for ways to save you money and still meet all your expectations. Open, fair, honest, one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. I HIGHLY recommend THR.

The rehab had been originally started by another contractor. Much of the work was simply fixing the shoddy work of the first contractor. Brent was helpful and concientious. We had many choices to make in regards to the level of repairs to make. His input helped me make the right choices for this property. Brent and his crew do good quality work. He has always been responsive and reliable. He is my man on the ground in Atlanta and I expect to use him in the future.

The provider arrived as scheduled, called when he was on his way. I found him to be personable, reliable, and professional. He got right to work, did all that needed to be done, and was most reasonable in his charges. If there was an A+ category, I'd give him an A+ in everything. No complaints whatsoever about anything. It was a pleasant experience in every way.
