Not too well. I do not understand why Mr. Hewell, Mr. Anglin, or the company owner will not return my emails, letters, certified letters, or my phone calls but I am not pleased with how my complaint is being handled. This is about my roof for my building that I bought from SteelCo Buildings. It broke in two during delivery. This roofing is not usable. I know that SteelCo and the manufacture both say youre not responsible for offloading of the product at my sight location. I can site four things that was not done right with this endeavor. Someone has got to take responsibility besides the customer. 1.The delivery driver should have never helped me offload the building. It was my responsibility according to you and the roof manufacturer and they should have never been involved.2.The delivery truck could NOT pull in and park in my drive way as I and the driver were told by Mr. Anglin. I had to contact the Sheriffs office to get officers on the ground directing traffic while the building was off loaded on the main road. And this road is heavily traveled.3.I was never mailed, emailed, or told where to look for the OFFLOAD manual. It was inside a 500lb, strap shut box. How was I supposed to know it was there without someone telling me? No one ever explained to me or the delivery driver to open that sealed box first, before we even took it off the truck. That manual should have been mailed to me a week or two before the building ever showed up. Who did SteelCo tell it was in that box? Who did the manufacture tell besides SteelCo?4.If phone calls were crucial and could have prevented all of this confusion, why wasnt it insisted that we do such? Obviously handling a sale like this via email doesn't work for SteelCo Buildings. This has gone on for three to four months now and frankly, I'm tired of the runaround and everyone acting like US Army Privates. I want my roof and I want it now. Here is what I expect to occur to make this situation right. SteelCo proposed $2,280 plus shipping for a replacement roof is laughable. I can go to Lowes or Home Depot and get the exact same thing for $2100, including shipping. Why is SteelCo trying to take advantage of a 20 year-5 combat-175 plus mission Army Special Forces veteran? This is disgraceful on SteelCos part as a Veteran Owned company. If it is a truly Veteran Owned company, the owner would make this right. Its called the Brotherhood of the Armed Services for a reason. If SteelCo feels the need to negotiate this replacement roof, please feel free. They already know what I'm looking for. Here's is my proposal: Roof panels, $2100.00 and this includes shipping AND offloading. I'm not renting another forklift for $550.00. I shouldn't have to especially if the original delivery was done correctly. Update. How is that Better Business Bureau taking away your accreditation over this feel? A lot embarrassing? You should have just dealt with me and you would have been done. I explained earlier: I have nothing but time on my hands. If you'd like to have your BBB Accreditation back, here's the new deal. You replace the entire roof, cut to 20' and 22' sections. Charcoal is my primary color. I will pay you $1500. The $1500 includes new roof panels, free shipping, and your shipping company unloads it without breaking as the last time. Or just refund my money. I'm trying to offer you a way out of this.
