I had the waste water that goes out of the house to my septic tank in the back all of it goes together into one large pipe that then goes under my slab in my basement and that makes it a right angle turn and then goes out and outside at my back door there is a clean out porch that you pull the top of it and you could open it up and every few years what happen is this elbow slowly but surely things build up in there in that elbow until it wined up stopping up the pipe and my toilet in the basement will over flown that's the dead give away the water starts coming up in the toilet in the basement we know that the pipes stops up well I have had rooter rooter out twice where we know exactly where it's stopped up but the problem was that the drains steaks were not long enough to reach in about thirty feet to this clog. the first time they came out the just charge me like $300 to do this it's like five minutes work I think it's two hundred dollars the first time I didn't have a choice I paid because I had a house full of company for holiday, well it was the second time it happen I called them back the guy came in and he wanted to charge me $300 and I said you are a totally insane because we know exactly where this thing is it's gonna take you about five minutes to just speed this thing in and then take it back out and it's gonna be cleared we know where it is we know what the problem is you just go away I'm telling you to leave we just go where a drain snake the guy went up to his truck and then he came back again said oh it could do it for like $150 and then we final said go handle what it is let him do it, he did it and it took him five minutes, the first time they charge me a lot for what they did. They do a good job but in my opinion they way over charge for what they've done for me.
