I called about 15 roofers attempting to find someone to replace my roof. Of all the companies I called, Braswell Construction was the most professional. I never regretted the decision to use them once during the entire process. The whole team was great to work with and the skill set of the roofers was impressive. Everyone I came into contact with was so courteous and helpful, and they left the work site clean every day when they left. Because of the amazing work they did, I decided to use the company to put up a fence in my yard as well as other remodeling projects. I'll update my reviews as they complete projects. But as far as roofing, I would highly recommend the company to do quality work with truly skilled craftsmen. It's so nice to work with a company that still has customer service skills. UPDATE: When working on the roof, the gutters were damaged on my house. When I called Braswell to let them know I was having issues with my gutters, they said they would take care of it. It took a little while, but they finally came and did a great job! If you need gutters, I'd recommend this company as well. They did a great job. Only issue was the length of time it took to get fixed, but it was just a miscommunication issue.

We had hail damage and needed a new roof. Brian Braswell came out to our home and met with our insurance adjuster who at first was not sure if we had enough damage to warrant a new roof. Brian fought for us and got our new roof approved. He followed up every step of the way and was involved through out the process. The roof was completed in one day (4500 square foot home). We also had interior ceiling damage that they also repaired in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this company. They would not accept any payment until the project was 100% completed and we were satisfied. That was my first indication this company was as reputable as they claimed to be.

Brian Braswell and the crew arrived promptly Friday morning. They worked vigorously at the job all day. We were surprised by an afternoon 'pop-up' rain shower and the crew had to tarp one area of the roof, but continued working through the shower. They had to return the following day (Saturday) to complete the job. We found a couple of small leaks that showed up on the kitchen ceiling, due to the rain Friday, but these were addressed promptly and professionally. Brian had a crew of painters come in and paint the entire kitchen and dining room ceiling after the spots had dried. I could not be more pleased with the quality and professional courtesy provided by Braswell Construction. They went beyond their contractual obligation in attention to details. I would highly recommend them.

I was a wreck after having water damage in my home due to a A/C problem. The carpets drenched, the house was hot, and all I could think of was my children?s health and the possibility of more mold growing in our home. I didn?t know what to do nor where to start. My experience with the Braswell Construction Group was absolutely great! In my line of work I assist construction workers daily, and Chris Braswell by far is one of the best contractors I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He was very professional and patient with me. He answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. He broke everything down to where I could understand what steps needed to be taken to get the issue resolved. He brought in fans, humidifiers, and air purifiers. He was quick and efficient. Though it was 99 degrees in the house at that time he acted as if there was nothing wrong and completely had compassion, sympathy, and empathy. He totally understood. He even took the time out to relight the pilot light on my hot water heater when the flame had gotten blown out by one of the fans. I was so very pleased with him as an individual and his standards for his company, that I referred him (without a 2nd though) to a relative of mine to have work done at their home. Now that is a true form of trust!

In July of 2012 our house unfortunately suffered severe wind and hail damage. Not sure of a good contractor to call we turned to our neighbors who had replaced their roof a year ago. They suggested "Braswell Construction Group". Our neighbor had told us how impressed they were with Chris and his company's professionalism and quality of work. From the first phone call to Chris I knew that we were in good hands. He promptly met with us and provided a thorough assessment of our roof damage. Chris met with the insurance adjuster and "walked" the roof side-by-side to ensure that the adjuster did not miss anything. Once our claim was approved Chris took the extra time with us to ensure that we understood our options and most importantly the roof system so that we were comfortable in knowing that our house would be protected for many years to come. The roof replacement went perfectly and we couldn't be more pleased with the product, service and quality of work. It is rare to find a company dedicated to providing professionalism, attention to detail, exceptional quality of work, and a high level of service. Kudos to Chris and his Team for making this process easy and worry-free.

Braswell Construction Group inspected my house for hail/wind damage after a major storm came through. We actually had shingles blown off the roof and knew that we would need to have it looked at. The rep for this company was very professional and honest. He helped us with our claim working directly with the insurance company and fought for us to get a new roof due to the age of the existing roof rather than shingle replacement and made this process so easy! It was a very pleasant experience working with this company. Mr. Brian Braswell did an excellent job of explaining the damage, the best route and product to take regarding the roof replacement. Everything went exactly as I was told that it would. The day of the job - the workers showed up early, got right to work and did a fantastic job with replacing our roof. They worked diligently from early morning until early evening to finish up the job. They took the time to move patio furniture and cover steps, etc to collect roof debris as they worked. After the roof replacement - I was pleasantly surprised to see them spend almost an hour just cleaning up. Sweeping my porches, my driveway, etc of debris and making sure that they were no nails left behind that we could run over with our tires. When they were done it looked as though they had never even been there....with the exception of the brand new, beautiful roof that they had just completed! I would highly recommend this company to anyone and will definitely use them again in the future should the need arise! If you choose this company - you will be greeted by professional, knowledgeable and experienced people. I found Braswell Construction on Angie's List read the good reviews of them. I called and left a message after business hours one day and Chris Braswell called me back early in the business day the next day. I told him that I had a leak and would like for someone to look at it to determine the problem and give me an estimate. He came out the same day and looked and determined that it was flashing needing caulking and fixed it himself at that time. He also took before, during, and after pictures and sent them to me, along with a report so that I would have documentation of the repair if I ever needed it. After my experience with Braswell Construction, I can understand why they have an excellent rating on Angie's List and will definitely call them again if I have other roofing problems.

Chris is fantastic to work with. Since he has a design background, he also gave me some good ideas and tips. I was comfortable with each crew he sent out and they were all willing to do anything it took to make sure I was satisfied. Work was done when they said it would be done.

During one of the big rainstorms last Spring, the ceiling in my rental house's sunroom collapsed. Upon further inspection, we found that the entire roof was completely shot. I called 3 contractors to come look at the house to see what needed to be done with the roof and the sunroom. I got 1 completely ridiculous offer for $21,000 from a guy who didn't even get on the roof, was stood up by one roofer that didn't even make our appointment, and Chris Braswell was the last to come give me an estimate. Chris came out to give me an estimate on the roof, and I knew immediately he would be the one I used. He took the time to get onto the roof and really look at the problem, explain and educate me on what I needed, and very patiently answered all of my questions. Once he gave me his recommendation, there was no pressure to use him and he didn't charge me any estimate fees. He was very frank in that he recommended that I call the insurance company to see if they would replace the roof due to hail damage, but he was sure to tell me that it was a long shot. He was right, and the insurance company turned me down. Throughout the whole process, he was there with me dealing with the adjuster himself, even walking around the roof with him. After the insurance turned me down, he gave me an estimate and gave me plenty of time to think about it. The work on the roof was completed 3 days after I gave him a green light. The gutters took a little longer, but it was fine because they weren't necessarily an emergency like the rest of the roof. Chris was always available to talk to through phone, text, or email. He always returned my calls. I really enjoyed meeting and working with Chris and his team. I felt like I could trust him and that he had my best interests in mind. I have already set up another meeting with him to give me an estimate on finishing the basement at my residence. I haven't even asked anyone else to come because I believe he will give me a fair price and do the work well.

Chris and his team were very professional from day one. Keith our company liasion was very detail oriented. He sat down with us and explained what we should expect during the construction. Keith met our insurance adjuster to answer any questions they may have. After the adjuster approved the insurance payment, we sat down and discussed what the job would entail, how long it will take and what the cost would be. There were no surprises. The team of roofers worked until dark each day. They did a great job in cleaning up when they completed the job. Keith and Chris were diligent about contacting us for any changes in plan or questions that my have come up during the construction process. A great experience. I would highly recommend!she

Home experieced hail and wind damage during a recent storm. Braswell performed an inspection, provided a description of the damage and walked us through the process of submitting a damage calim through the insurance company. When the insurance adjuster arrived for the inspection, Braswell was there to help ensure that all of the damage was captured in the inspection. Upon receiving a low repair estimate from the insurance company, Braswell worked thrugh the insurance company to help adjust the estimate to a structurally sound repair. After receiving an adjusted estimate, Braswell walked us through the options and scheduled a repair date. The work crew provided a dumpster for the old roofing material and staged the shingles. They showed up the next day and finished the work in a single day. Prior to the start of work, we worked through some peculiarities with our landscaping. Throughout the entire process management and crew were courteous and professional. Management then walked us through the process of submitting the claim for finished work to the insurance company and further check endorsement with the mortgage company. We did not experience any of the problems with Braswell that mahy of our neighbors did with their contractors. This company is very highly recommended.

We were leaving on vacation, but knew Charis personally, when we came back, house was re-roofed, and they had already started painting. Greta job, never had any problems!.

So now I am more than happy to contribute by recommending Braswell Construction Group to anyone contemplating a home improvement project. Having heard many horror stories over the years and experiencing them myself with previous contractors, it's comforting to know that there's a company I can trust. The fact that this group offers a wide range of services is an extra bonus. We first met BCG when they installed the siding and roofing on our house. They completed our project quickly and exceeded our expectations. So when we needed work done to our gutters, hvac, and backdeck, we knew BCG was the company to call. Not only was the work done to my satisfaction each and every time, but it was completed within the agreed timeframe and for exactly what we were quoted. In addition, the salesmen and workers have always been very professional, courteous, and have cleaned up when finished. I guess the best recommendation I can give is that I won't hesitate to call BCG for any future project I have for my home. It is so nice to know that there are some companies out there that care about their clients and will go the extra mile to make sure they are happy.
