Braswell did it again ! We had an excellent experience just a few months ago, as I was helping my mother select a roofer in Riverdale. We bought a new house in Lilburn and Braswell was there quick, had a detailed satellite diagram of my roof,and I was on their install schedule for later that week. We unfortunately had to pay out of pocket because it was a new insurance policy. I know that 99% of roofs you see today are paid for by homeowners insurance. They were very fair and took into consideration that I had no assistance. I will definitely use them again if ever need be!

Braswell Construction Group replaced my damages roof in a professional and timely manner. Mr. Jody Gentle handled everything in a caring and professional manner.

The primary difficulty involved the completion of the work on a consistent basis and administrative follow through from their billing office. It was necessary to call repeatedly to get a response, due to the deep freezing weather that we had that caused a number of similar problems in the area. The repair work was not completed until April, four months after the damage occurred. When the threshold of the doors were replaced, the trim around the door suffered damage, that was never repaired. The payment check for the cabinet maker was mailed to our home and after we returned it to their office, they mailed an invoice for the cabinet company to us again, giving us the impression that the office staff was not organized.

My roof looks wonderful. They covered up all of my bushes so they are not damaged. They took all the furniture off the patio so it wouldn't get damaged, cleaned the patio, and put it all back neatly. All of this was done in one day!!!!

Jody was very professional from the first phone call. I had never had to have a roof put on a house due to storm damage, and Jody walked me through every step. He made several trips to the house tomake sure I was receiving the best service possible. He communicated almost every day to keep me updated on the progress and where I stood in the process. Even when I had an issue with my insurance company he was patient while I resolved the problem. It was the best experience! I am looking forward to being able to call them again.

He turned an unfortunate situation into a rewarding?.Jody helped with getting my roof approved by my insurance? Braswell finished the job in one day and the dumpster was gone !?I never had to spend a million hours on hold on the phone with my insurance, he handled it all !!?.. The crew was prompt and used safety equipment ! I would recommend them to anyone.. Later that month I saw Braswell Construction Group doing an enormous roof at an apartment complex.. A MILLION STARS !!

Painless and smooth transaction

Braswell's provided the lowest bid from among 4 roofing contractors to win the job. Window replacement, porch leveling, gutter guards were added to the contract. Their representative and the owner of the company were both very helpful and offered good advice regarding material selection. The quality of the work was excellent. The quality of the materials was excellent. The staff professional and very friendly. They requested no payment until everything was completed and they were sure I was satisfied with the work. I will use them again if I need a general contractor. I recommend them to highly.

I was in need of a new roof and was not comfortable with the 2 or 3 estimates received from neighborhood roofers who had came to the door. On a recommendation, I contacted Braswell Construction to request an in home estimate. Russell Harpst from Braswell Construction scheduled an appointment and we met a few days later. He was on time, pleasant,and presented himself professionally. He was very knowledgeable about the roofing product, installation process, and the installation team. Recognizing we new nothing about roofs, he took the time to explain everything and responded thoroughly to our questions. He was very credible and we never felt as if we were just another job. His commitment to our satisfaction was apparent. The roof was installed as scheduled with no surprises. The installation team was neat and clean. There were no nails or any other mess to clean up. The only thing we were left with was a beautiful new roof!! Russell Harpst followed up to ensure our satisfaction. I plan on using this company for all of my housing and construction needs and would definitely recommend them to others!

It was fine. The workers were good and the roof held up. There was no additional and I did not pay anything more than the Big Deal offer. I would consider them in the future.

my first contact was with jody he was the best explained the prosess and walk me through start to finish the roofers arived on time and did a very good job by the time i got home from work the job was done and they left no mess it was the best expreance i have ever had with a constrction company

Russell stood by me through a couple of visits from my insurance adjusters who were assessing storm damage to the roof of my house. His estimate for the needed repairs was timely and clearly the low bid. Installation hit a rain delay the first scheduled day but the crew came early the next day and had the job done by 6 pm. Installation and cleanup was highly professional. Russell's followup inspection was very helpful as he explained how the chimney flashing was replaced and sealed in place. He also explained how valleys were sealed against leakage, another concern I had.

I was not pleased with my overall experience with the salesperson I dealt with. The job was done quickly, but not as asked. Friendly conversations with sales only lead to lack of follow through over and over again. Weeks of finishing billing processing delay. Some ethical practices were very questionable. End of job clean up/detail reconciliation never done. A mess was left for me to take care of with the expectation that I hire someone they recommend to do it. Inexcusable. I spoke with the owner long after the job was finished and he did offer to send someone out to finish up and take care of issues. He seemed very reasonable and kind, as the salesperson I dealt with seemed at first. At least he did offer, I did not accept. I prefer taking care of it myself at this point due to lack of trust. Hopefully my experience with Braswell Construction Group is a fluke and the majority of their dealings are as stellar as other reviews that I have read.

They were done in a day. They brought the dumptster the day before and put on the side of the house. When I left that day, they had started at 7 am and when I came home that evening; they were finishing up. They cleaned up after themselves. The roof looks remarkable.

Jody was great! We were able to fit upgraded shingles in our budget, and he worked directly with the insurance adjuster on our claim. Originally, the insurance company stated that the fence only needed to be repaired, but Jody assisted us in getting part of the fence completely replaced! We even got a great deal on them replacing the rest of the fence! All three jobs were completed fast, and look wonderful! It was so nice to have a one-stop shop for all of my needs. I did not want to juggle roofers, painters, and a fence person. I already have some more projects in mind for them to take on! Thanks Chris and Jody! -- Adrian Barkman

It turned out well. I would say that it was done within the day. They are very professional.

Roof was the first task. We made the contract on a Thursday and the crew was there at 7 am on the following Monday. Work was completed in one day and the cleanup was immaculate. I found only one nail on the ground afterwards. The quality of the work left nothing to be desired. This was NOT due to an insurance claim but only because the roof needed to be replaced due to age. The gutter/leaf guard task was next. Also went without a hitch. These people took care of fascia and soffit repairs as well. I found a couple of additional areas later that needed to be repaired and those were done as requested. Our front porch railing had a few spindles that were rotting as well as the bottom of one of the posts so I asked for the whole railing to be replaced and the post to be fixed. The railing was replaced and the one post was not only repaired but the other two posts were fixed to imitate the the looks of the post that really needed the repairs. A nice touch. I had contacted the company via Angie's List e-mail on a Sunday afternoon and already the same evening Russell called me back. He came by on Tuesday to take a look at what we wanted to have done and on Thursday we decided to go with Braswell Construction for this project. Russell was well-prepared when he came by and the quote was in the expected range. Work was done very professionally and on schedule.

Contractor arrived. Inspection ok. However, since the replacement, the shingle seems to be loose and needs repairing again. The owner was very helpful and seemed knowledgable. He offered information about the roof which was appreciated.

Crew arrived on date/time scheduled and worked harder than most workers I have seen. They completed the job in one day. Very respectful to both me and my wife, have already planned an additional project, without hesitation!

It went great! We were very impressed with the quality and craftsmanship. The job took a little longer than what was told at beginning but it was raining a lot when trying to get this all done. The crew was very professional and easy to work with so we could get everything just the way we wanted it! We can't wait till we are ready to do some work on the inside of the house. Going to be calling the guys at Braswell to make sure we get the best work for a great price!

The cottage looks far better then it did prior to the water damage and they work was done very professionally.

Update: Braswell construction has contacted me and they want the opportunity to make this situation right. I am willing to let them do that. They have taken appropriate action in this situation. They will be returning to my house soon to redo our estimate and prove they care about their reputation. I will update again soon. The person that did the estimate would not ever contact me when I called or texted. Talked with the owner several months later. He said he would have the person call me and that he thought the person was a good employee. The employee never called me, only texted me. I told the employee I thought he should call me but I never heard from him. They lost my business.

It was late and the evening when my washer overflowed - they were very quick to arrive at my home and took care of every detail to help me put my house back together. They were extra careful with my belongings and everything was put back together just like they found it.... given the issue we had with water in our home Braswell made this as pain free as possible and worked directly with my insurance adjuster - I would highly recommend them to any of my friends or family!

Very professional and provided as promised when promised.

They came within a few weeks after I purchased the "Big Deal" and the service was okay. They guy that came out he was super nice and did a good job. He then give me a follow-up and it took him four days or more for him to get back to me.
