Andrew is the best to work with. I contacted him for an estimate, he responded by coming out a day later. The estimate was provided promptly and in itemized format. There was prep work (cut back hedges in front of windows) I needed done before Andrew could start so by the time I contacted him he was booked. However, he promised to contact me if there was a cancellation. As promised, he contacted a few days to offer to get started. He showed up on time, did excellent work and also helped me troubleshoot a small plumbing issue I was having as well. When it was time to pay, Andrew mentioned that he was taking money OFF of the bill because he finished ahead of schedule.... I have never had that happen!!! Lol! Transparency, integrity and professionalism- all in one. Call Andrew! I definitely will for my next project.

I had some minor damage to the siding around my house. He gave me an estimate and started work on the chimney area. It turned out there was much more damage there than anticipated. Andrew kept me apprised of the situation, sending me pictures and even a video (I was at work) so I could see the issues he had uncovered. It took him 3 days to complete this job. At the end of each day he left the work area very neat and tidy. When he completed the job, it was excellent! I am so happy with the work. He will be my go-to guy whenever I need repairs done. We postponed some of the repairs I need done because of how extensive the damage was around the chimney. Andrew is very professional, courteous, dependable, and honest. I highly recommend him.

Our house had multiple repair and maintenance issues that needed to be addressed. I had been doing the work myself, but my wife and I decided that we should hire a professional to get the work done faster. We got mulitple quotes from different businesses. Andrew from ACM Home Repairs responded the same day to provide an estimate. It was obvious that he was very knowledgeable about the repairs that had to be done. His quote was ready that same day, and he followed up to see if we had any questions or concerns about his proposal. In the past I have done my own repairs around the house. So, I was concerned about finding someone who would do quality work. We decided to hire ACM Home Repairs. The cost of the work was reasonable, and I was impressed with Andrew’s professionalism, and how he handled his business. Once the work started, any concerns I had were put at ease. Andrew was professional and easy to work with. After each phase of the project, I inspected the work and noticed areas where Andrew had paid attention to the details. I didn’t have any, “Well, I would have done it this way...” moments. It was a good experience. The next time I need work done, I won’t hesitate to call Andrew. I also recommend ACM Home Repairs to other people.

It went very well. Couldn't ask for a better job. Andrew was terrific he really is good at his craft. He was very dependable extremely courteous. Like I said I have found our new go to guy.

Mr. Moore came to my home very timely as promised. He repaired the back door knob lock at the frame so it would stay lock when locked. He replaced a new door knob to my den door. I had the new door knob . I asked more questions about carpentry work to repair a broken drawer to a chest of doors I had for years. He gave me an honest answer to replace the old chest of drawers with a new one. I believe the cost of repair would not be worth the sentimental value. He said it would be costly to repair the roof of my outdoor shed because of the way it was built. I believed him and decided to keep doing what I have done about the roof of the shed. Patch my way. It's working well enough right now.

I was looking for a handyman in the Covington area. I looked on Angieslist, found Andrew's company and read the reviews. There was one review that was unusually negative. After reading that review, I realized that this was someone who didn't understand the process of construction and repairs and most likely tends to complain frequently. It was the only negative review so I took a chance and hired Andrew. I am so glad I did. Andrew was so easy to work with. I own this rental home, but live 2,600 miles away. I was able to communicate effectively with Andrew via email, texting and Facetime. Andrew was clear about what needed to be done. I made payments through Paypal and at the end of the project, I traveled to Covington to see the results. I was very impressed by what I saw! Everything was done professionally and on time. Andrew went the extra mile to do some minor jobs that were not in the bid, but he did them anyway. I have remodeled several homes in the past and I know a good job from a bad one. This job was A+!! Andrew is my new handyman and I am so thankful that I found him and took this chance. I know that if there is ever an issue with the rental, Andrew will get the job done. If you are considering a handyman in Covington, ignore the one "F" review and look at all the others. You will see that he is an excellent choice.

Andrew was friendly and professional. He quoted a fair price and never tried to sell additional work. The work was completed on time and the work was excellent. Will definitely call Andrew first when I have work that needs completed.

Worked to make sure it was doing correctly. Did not give up and rush to just to be done. Very good person will hire him again for any work that I need help with. Final found a honest handyman that know what he is doing.

Andrew was a pleasure to work with. He went the extra-mile to help us out on our very tight schedule, showed up when he said he would, and even attempted to find the hardware parts I needed for our master bedroom, which was not part of our contract. The exterior portions of the house he worked on look great!

Mr. Mooce did an outstanding job painting my rooms and all of the additional work listed above. I have been very pleased with his work, responsiveness and cleanness- His professional and quality of work are admirable. He was also very personable with his price- Mr. Mooce is a carpenter I can trust.

Andrew conducted the work in which we agreed upon. However, working with Andrew is a long, drawn-out process. Andrew is very persnickety and particular (not in a good way). He's moody and temperamental. Andrew will not hire another worker because he wants to keep the monies for himself and not pay another worker. He prolonged my project and inconvenienced me and pocketed the extra money instead of paying another worker to move the project along quicker. The contract that Andrew and I agreed to required him to remove existing bathroom floor tile and install hardwood floors. Andrew told me that he would have to remove the toilet in the master bathroom in order to remove the existing tile and install the new hardwood flooring. Andrew placed the toilet in my bathtub for three days, making it inconvenient for me to use my shower and toilet. When I brought this to his attention, he just shrugged as if to say you have other bathrooms to use. However, that's not the point! The work that Andrew needed to do in my master bathroom and bedroom should not have taken him four days. I also had to ask Andrew to replace my bed after installing the hardwood flooring, so that I could sleep overnight. Andrew actually gave me an ATTITUDE when I asked him to re-position my bed at the end of his work day. I purchased (15) boxes of hardwood flooring for master bathroom and master bathroom. Andrew told me that I needed to purchase an additional (3) boxes of hardwood flooring in order to complete the work. I told him that his calculation was incorrect, and in fact I had more than enough hardwood flooring (15 boxes) for the project. Andrew persisted and I relented thinking that he was the expert. Boy was I ever wrong. When Andrew completed the project: installed hardwood flooring in the master bedroom and bathroom. I had an entire box remaining from the (15 boxes) left over. Not to mention the additional (3) boxes that I purchased at his miscalculated request. After I explained to Andrew multiply times that he was incorrect in his calculations of me needing additional hardwood flooring. He could not admit that he was incorrect in his calculations. Andrew will NEVER admit when he is wrong nor does he like to be corrected when he is wrong. In or about October of 2014, was my initial contact with Andrew. He installed bathroom floor tile in (2) small bathrooms and he installed two bathroom vanities. During this initial, first contact, Andrew brought along another man to the project. The man identified himself as a former customer of Andrews. (Yeah, right!) I wrote Andrew a check for half of the work. Andrew left immediately after taking the check and stayed gone for (2) hours. Leaving me with his "male companion." This was highly inappropriate and unprofessional. I also found out that Andrew had bad-mouthed me behind my back. Andrew was being nosey and gossipy. It seemed as if Andrew was more concerned about what type of clothing I wore in the privacy in my own home, instead of doing the work that I paid him to do. What business was it of Andrew as to what I wore, as long as I had the proper funds to pay him for his services. You can be nice to Andrew 99 times; however, the one time you put your foot down with him and stop being so nice, he completely forgets about the 99 times you were nice to him. Andrew is a spoiled, temperamental brat! He's not as great a contractor as he thinks he is. Never, never, never will I acquire the services of Andrew Moore, ACM Contractors, LLC.

Andrew was on time, very professional, and honest. He did an excellent job!! I would recommend to anyone. I will definitely call him back for many other projects. AWESOME!!

Work was done quickly and efficiently. Work continued with work that could be done in the rain when rain started. Searched the area to find a needed part and found it. I would definitely give Andrew a call if I need more work.

I called Andrew after a heavy rain storm and told him water was coming into the house. He came the same day and took a look at the problem. He told me his schedule was tight but would try to do the job as soon as possible. He came two days later and did the job. He also gave me a courtesy call to see if everything was ok a few weeks later. He is very professional and courteous.

Very good installation, it looks like the trim came originally on the house. Andrew was always here when he said he would be, all work was done as specified and for the amount specified. I will definitely use his service again.

When I called, Andrew answered his phone on the first try, which was a good sign. The other contractor I tried from Angie's list didn't return my call for two days. Although Andrew was on another job that would last another week, he made time to complete my small job, within the week. I needed it done as quickly as possible due to the fact that it was a safety hazard at rental property. The work was done well, and I was pleased with my experience with ACM Home Repairs. Will call again.

Andrew, and his co-worker, were prompt, professional and did a good job of completing the project. Planning on using ACM Home Repairs again for other projects.

One of our vinyl windows had an upper sash that would not close. Called ACM Home Repairs about 10:30 am and spoke to Andrew and explained the problem. He said he was doing another job, but should be able to get to our house in about two hours, which is did. After looking at the window, he knew the problem was broken springs. He tried to get out the lower sash so he could take out the upper sash to repair the springs, but try as he might, it would not budge unless he forced. He said that could possibly damage the lower sash by breaking part of it off, and felt that we should not try to force it. Unfortunately, there was not much else he could do to repair the springs, but he did manage to muscle the upper sash closed for us. He was very courteous and honest, which we appreciated, and didn't even ask for any payment for his time and trouble, until I asked him if we could pay him something to cover that. The man drove 30 miles or so to get to us, and I felt he at least deserved to be compensated for gas and his time. Since the repair could not be completed, I can't rate his work, but I can say he was a very nice, professional young man, and will keep him in mind for other jobs around the old homestead in the future. I think he is a keeper.

Andrew was very professional and courteous. He responded in a timely manner, gave us an appropriate timeline for the completed repairs, provided an accurate estimate beforehand, and got the various jobs done quickly. We were impressed with the quality of work. For the jobs that we opted not to get done, he gave reasonable simple suggestions to get by for now. I would definitely call him again if needed and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anybody who needs repairs done.

Although Andrew was late on the date the toilet was to be serviced, due to Atlanta traffic, the work was done well.

The quality of work was excellent and Andrew was very professional and pleasant. He was punctual and if running late would always let us know. The job turned out to be more involved than the original estimate, but as more damage was discovered we received updated estimates. He was very particular about not making a mess and cleaning up afterwards. The price was reasonable and the length of time to complete the job seemed in line with the repairs needed. We would definitely use again and will recommend to our friends and neighbors.
