+ -1 moreVery rude, unprofessional. Did not do what they said they would do. Overcharged for work and it broke again a few months later and they would not stand behind their work. Don't remember the date of this but just added a date as required to get this posted. I have been upset about this for a long time and decided to post. I all I can is don't use these people or you will be sorry.

Description of Work: They quickly came out to pick up our Craftsman Riding Lawnmower for a $30 fee to be paid with rest of the bill at completion (this was in April/May). A week later I called to get an idea of what was going on with it and was told that they were so backed up that when they got to it I would receive a call about it, (kind of stuck now that they had my lawn mower, because no one told me this would happen). Once I received a call back in JULY/AUG. that it was the starter that was going out on it, and the labor for doing the job along with cost of the part the estimated cost to fix the mower was going to be around $400 to $500 plus the cost of pick up and delivery looking at $460 to $560 for a lawnmower that we ONLY paid $200 for in the first place and even got a large gas can and few other small things along with it for the price we paid. We have subsequently NOT had anything done on the mower at this point (they still have it at the shop). My husband has not been doing well health wise and money just has not been there to fix it as a result. (The cost is WAY to HIGH, but now we are stuck with either having a broken down mower just sitting in the way at our home or allowing them to continue to keep it until we are ready to move forward. For the price we could possibly find a brand new one.

+ -1 moreEach time I visit or call Wilson's Tractor with questions about the mower, I'm met with friendly and helpful responses. For example, when I first took the machine home and tried it, the motor seem to cut out every so often. I took the lawn mower back to Wilson's shop. They could not duplicate the problem in order to fix it. I took the mower home again and its motor still wanted to cut out. My wife said, "let me try it." She got on it and it ran like a top -- no cutting out. It seems I did not weigh enough to keep the rider safety cut-out switch from activating, and my wife did. Though all this, Wilson's Tractor workmen showed exemplary patience. (I've gain some weight since then.)
Description of Work: I bought a 60 inch Dixie Chopper lawn mower from Wilson's Tractor & Lawncare Equipment in March of 2012. The mower was new, but had sat in the sales lot a while and needed some touch up work. Wilson's Tractor fixed everything I pointed out that I wanted done. In the year I have owned the mower, two problems came up. One was the clutch and the other was a leaky high pressure hydraulic line. Wilson's Tractor made the repairs in the time they promised. The latest repair (hydraulic line leak - 4/2013) was completed in two days. The mower is still under the two-year warranty, so there was no cost for the work.
