Upholstery by Mark White

He was punctual, quick and even came to pick up the chairs at my house. He was pleasant and great to work with. He did a great job and made by chairs look brand new. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

My wife and I were looking for an upholsterer to redo our Ethan Allen wing back recliner. While in a local fabric outlet we heard the manager talking with a customer about an upholstery job that had been done to the customer's great satisfaction. Once the conversation was over, I inquired who had done this fabulous job. That was when I first heard Mark White's name. I phoned Mark and asked about his experience. He recounted his decades of building sample and prototype upholstered furniture for major North Carolina furniture manufacturers (unfortunately, now closed and moved to China). Consequently, my wife and I felt comfortable about taking our best chair to Mark and his partner Roosevelt Roberts for reupholstering. We dropped the recliner on Thursday and were surprised to hear from Mark the following Tuesday afternoon that the chair was ready to collect. I was concerned when the chair was finished so quickly but I need not have been. Mark and Roosevelt's work was every bit the equal of the original Ethan Allen factory upholstery. We recommend Mark and Roosevelt without reservation.
