We've had them for about 3 of 4, maybe even 5. We run a maintenance contract with them. They come out and do regular checkups. They've done a lot of installation work. We're very happy with them. Their price is right. They've done quality work. They've sorted out the mess that was left by the last provider we used. They seem to have very professional people working there which are not true of our former company.

They were very good. It is probably not adequate pressure everywhere but it wasn't their fault because we didn't want to add a second zone so they did their jobs well. John, the gentleman that my parents knew very well, he did their house many, many years ago. I called him and he was super nice and very thorough and just willing to go above and beyond. It was a long story but we ended up having to move out of the house in 2013 and he was super flexible to the point where he came 3 nights in a row to turn on our gas because the gas company was not coming out. He kept coming out to make sure we had heat that night and then coming in the morning to shut it off. The whole company is just very honorable and they are true to their word. I think that their price is fair. It is certainly not the cheapest but it is reasonable. I would use them again without a doubt and I would recommend them to anybody.

Our heater went out Wednesday night at 10:30pm. Unfortunately, we called the company that had installed the unit and serviced it last (Reliance Heating & Air). We were promised a call back within one hour, which pleasantly surprised me, so we stayed up waiting for the call. By 2:30 when no call had come, we decided to go to bed. On Thursday morning, the office called around 9:30am as a follow up and was not apologetic at all about the delay in getting back to us. The earliest they could book a technician to come out was Friday morning 8:00am. We booked the appointment, even though it meant going without heat another night. Around 3:00 pm Thursday afternoon, the office called my wife to ask if it would be O.K. to reschedule our 8:00 am appointment for the afternoon on Friday. When my wife indicated it wasn't o.k., as we were without heat and had already stayed home from work one day thinking they would be there, the representative told her "well there are a lot of people without heat and we will get to you when they could." When they didn't show up by 10:30 am, we cancelled the call and found a more customer focused company to service the unit. I will never call Reliance Heating & Air again.

The overall experience for past two years has been sub par compared to prior years. I am currently reviewing other companies on Angie List and will replace reliance as my maintenance service provider shortly.

I have always used Reliance because they installed my AC units in my community for the builder and had the warranty coverage. I contacted Reliance Heating & Air on Sunday the 29th of July because my Air Conditioning was unable to keep the house at a cool temperature. The thermostat was set to 75 degrees, but the temperature in the upstairs bedrooms was 85+. They took down my information and about 20 minutes later a technician called me. I explained that my unit had been working just fine less than 24 hours earlier and had never had issues cooling off the house in the 6 years I'd lived there. The outdoor unit was running full time, but there was no cool air, or very small amounts, coming out of the vents. The technician told me, "He'd lost count..." of how many houses he'd been to where there was no issue, it was "just hot" and the air conditioner only can cool the house to within 16-18 degrees of the outdoor temperature. He then said he'd have to charge me $175 to come out IF he could squeeze me in and told me to call back later that night if the temperatures were still hot after the sun went down. I insisted something was wrong. He insisted "it was just hot outside."By 11:00 p.m. my upstairs bedroom was over 85 degrees. I called back, spoke with the receptionist / scheduler and asked her to have someone call me back first thing in the morning the following day - I would work from home to be there to have it fixed. I never received a call back. Ever. On Monday, I called CoolRay upon a referral from 2 friends and they immediately scheduled me for an appointment. The technician confirmed my unit WAS broken, replaced the faulty part, and my AC is now working. No thanks to Reliance. I will never use them again.

The installation was done on a date convenient with us and scheduled within two weeks. The technicians were punctual and finished their installation in the time estimated. The furnace has been in operation steadily since installation, and we are very satisfied with the operation. The old units were taken away and the areas inside and outside our home were completely cleaned of any materials.

It has been a nightmare. During installation the crew left me without heat during one of the coldest nights of the year. I have had almost constant problems with the a/c. In early May the upstairs a/c quit. When the tech came to fix it he said the furnace was somehow "tripping" the a/c and making it quit. He came 3 times and never could get it running so he finally disconnected the furnace (so the a/c would run) and said he would have to get a factory rep to come look at it. That was over 3 months ago and no one has returned to fix my furnace even though I have made several calls to them. They keep promising to come out and fix it but they never do.

They keep everything up to date. They inform us when we need new parts. We have never had a problem with them. They are very easy to get out here when we need them to.

Coldest night of the season, I turned on the heat and got nothing. Called the 24 hour number and was walked through some basic troubleshooting. Once it was determined that a tech would need to come out, I was told that someone would contact me between 8 and 9 the next morning. At 8:01 I got a call from the help desk and an appointment was made for the same day between 12 Noon and 6 PM. I was also told that when the tech was about an hour out he would give me a call. Technician Jeff ran some basic checks and changed out a capacitor. The tech that came out also checked the condition of my ducts and re-hung and re-taped some shoddy installation work.

They did an exceptional job installing the A/C units. They were very professional and knew what they were doing. I would recommend this company to others because they are very prompt and overall I think they are a very good company.

Reliance is a good company. I do not remember having any complaints about them. My system has been working very well. They were pretty personable. I wish their prices were lower because this was a huge expense. When I compared their rates to those of other companies, they were still one of the least costly places around. I paid over five thousand dollars for this job. I do not care to elaborate beyond that.
