Rapid Roofers

I bought a deal: $69 for two hours of work on gutters/roofing. An employee came out and I met him at the corner of my house where the tree had fallen on the roof and scraped downwards, crushing the gutter. He spent no more than 5 minutes at my house - maximum. The employee did not climb on to the roof to check for damage there. He assessed everything from the ground and said he'd need to send the gutter guy out and have the gutter guy contact me. I then heard nothing for 3 weeks. I called the company and got the owner on the line. I told him I was a bit disappointed with the responsiveness and lack of close inspection of my roof to determine whether there was damage. The owner, Troy, knew that I had bought the deal a day before it expired and he wasn't happy about that. He told me that it wasn't an economical deal for him, and it certainly made me feel like he had had enough of folks calling in with the deal and he didn't want to honor any more of them. He made several excuses to not honor the deal. He told me it was expensive just to send someone out to a house to assess the work that needed to be done. He told me that gutter repair is a totally different crew than the roof repair and that they therefore can't both be included in the deal. I told him that the deal specifically mentioned both gutter and roof and that was why I picked his company. He said that it was difficult to write up a deal with all the possible limitations listed on it and that doing so wouldn't make it look like much of a deal. He told me the purpose of the deal was to attract long-term customers. I told him no one had actually gone up on my roof to assess whether there was damage to the roof and I was still waiting for a quote. He said he'd get someone out to my house, and the employee did come over on time and did climb up on my roof and determined the damage. He spent 2 minutes on my roof. A day or two later I got a repair quote from the owner. It did not include any indication of 2 hours of free labor. His employees had spent so far no more than 7 minutes at my house - and all of that was just to assess the damage, not to actually fix anything. I called the owner back to urge him again to honor the deal I had purchased, and he offered me $70 off his quote. $70 off isn't the same as 2 hours of labor for $69. I decided I could not continue with this company. I figure I just lost my $69. The owner clearly didn't want to honor the deal and the responsiveness and thoroughness of the employees had been spotty. I don't know the quality of the work itself, but this is not an honorable company.

They were prompt and finished the work quickly.

The technician was David and he was awesome. He came right on time, He allowed me to follow him during the inspection and pointed out potential problems. He found some areas that needed roof sealant and applied them. I was so happy with the work and will definitely use this company again.

David and his partner can back out to my house. He was friendly and assured me that he would fix the leaks. He went in the attic to see where the leaks were coming from. They were on the roof over about 3 hours sealing nail holes and fixing what the originally contractor messed up. They were very professional and explain to me what they had to do to stop the leaks. They also assured me that after it rain, if there were still leaks they would come back out to correct the problems. I feel that their goal was that I was a satisfied customer. I would give David and his partner an A+++++++ in customer service and would use them again when it is time for a new roof.

Dave was great. He got to my house right when he said he'd be there and got right to work. He inspected the roof, took care of a split ridge cap and some popped nails, and he also looked at problem spot I've been having with a gutter in back. I gave me a reasonable quote to repair the wood behind the gutter, which I will definitely call him when I decide to do it. Very courteous and professional.

Went very well, came when they said they would. I have been having trouble getting anyone to come and look at the problem I was having. Happy with the results. Also told me if I had any problems with their repairs they would come back.

They did a good job. The only drawback is letting me know when they are going to be there. I had to pay extra money and it was a drawback. There was some kind of extra stuff they did like the drive way and sidewalk.

The repairs were fixed and the roofer was very courteous and respectful.

Provider was responsive, friendly and the outcome met expectations.

OUTSTANDING JOB AND EVERY THING WAS EXPLAINED WELL BEFOR JOB STARTED

When you book a deal for 6 hours of handy man services, I feel like I should get 6 hours of work. The dispatcher requested that I let him know what the list of handy man jobs I needed. He called and confirmed these jobs several times before the service man, Michael showed up. When Michael got to working on the jobs, he was finished with all 5 items in about an hour. I could have kept him busy doing 5 more hours worth of things around the house - however, part of the deal is that the handyman doesn't show up until 4:30 pm. So you really have a guy who has worked for 10 hours already and it just ready to be finished and go home. I'm happy with the work he performed, however, I don't think Michael got paid for 6 hours - even though I paid for it.

Ryan did the pressure wash. I am impressed.

When I originally contacted the service provider he started the conversation with the comment that he could only send someone after 3:30 in the afternoon. Since it's for 6 hours of handyman service that meant he would be there until 930 at night?? I have 3 young kids who go to bed around 9:00 and thought this to be unreasonable - he told me I "should have read the fine print." Really, you're admitting that it's disingenuous right from the beginning?? He refuses to come by and assess anything prior to scheduling the service so the laborer he sends has no proper supplies and spends a good portion of the time going to the hardware store to buy the simple items necessary. He bought an entire $80+ box of oak flooring so he could get one 12 inch piece to repair the floor - then suggested I return it to home depot for a refund without telling them some has been removed. The laborer left 2 hours early because it started to rain and he was working outside With no intention of coming back! He left my soffit torn up and un-mended. He left huge shards of dangerous glass on the ground from a broken window he said was un-fixable (then changed his mind and said it was fixable but it would cost and additional $300 for a window pane??). He left my flood light disassembled and sitting on the porch would have been less of a mess had he not even come. So essentially I got two bathroom tubs caulked (30 minutes), he adjusted my front door with a few screws (30 minutes) and replaced two small flooring boards (maybe 1 hour and which looks terrible because he didn't bother to pull out the floor molding which is also in need of repair). He did about 3 hours of work total + he spent time at hardware store, then left. The owner acted like he was doing me a big favor. I realize it was a "special" but no one forces him to make the offer - he just couldn't deliver! Terrible experience and when I voiced my frustration he just blew me off!

I purchased a coupon for 6 hours of labor for $199. I called the provider before purchasing to ensure they could do the jobs I needed complete. After explaining everything I was assured they could complete all of it in the allotted time. Once the provider arrived and reviewed the jobs he told me he could not complete one of the four things needed. The provider did complete three of the jobs and did a good job. However, I was disappointed because I purchased a "deal" and realistically I ended up paying basically the regular hourly rate as he did not provide 6 hours of work. In the end, I was happy with the work that was done but would have chosen a different provider who could have done everything I needed.

Unfortunately my roof was too steep for any services to be rendered without additional costs but he was very professional and informative.

Rapid roofers did a great job on our home. They even came back put when we thought there was an issue with our washer.

He arrived with no tools and borrowed tools from me. He sent me to the store to get pipes and elbows. The ones that were sold - He didn't know how to use which the ones he wanted they didn't make anymore. Then he went with me and they (Lowes) showed him how to use them and he put them on incorrectly and all 3 sinks leaked water on the floor. He left. Then I called his boss, Troy, who was rude to me and said Angie's list should not have sent you a handyman, they should have sent you a plumber, which I told Angieslist what I needed done and that's who they sent. And he said I had no right to complain because after all, they only charged me $199. Troy came out and looked at it and said he would send the guy back out in that it was not fixed and they were busy and he would when he had time. After 4 days, I complained, called me names and chewed me out. He sent the guy back out and he worked on the sinks and 2 are fixed and 1 still leaks. I have since called and no one has come back out.

I was having a hard time finding someone to fix this problem area. Rapid Roofers was running a special on Angies List which I bought and made an appointment for service. The gentleman from Rapid Roofers arrived at the apppointed time and fixed the holes. He was very kind, and didn't seem to mind doing such a small job. I will certainly use this company for future roof jobs and will highly recommend their service to others.

EXCELLENT work!!!!!! And extremely fast. I was getting some insane quotes to perform this job and Rapid Roofers did the job at an extremely reasonable price and the guy who came out to do the work was so fast.......I was totally impressed. I will definitely use again and recommend to friends.

We were completely satisfied with all the tasks accomplished. Handyman was courteous and competent. He also was careful, removing dirty shoes to work inside and put cloth down to protect floors from ladder. 2015

When he arrived, I did not have the materials I needed for the kitchen shelf. He told me exactly what I needed to go and purchase for him to do the job. While I was getting the materials he moved on to another project When he replaced the kitchen faucet the old water line was not long enough and he told me the size he needed to finish. After head finished the projects I had listed, he inquired if there was any thing else I needed repaired. I was very pleased with all the work that was done

David was very responsive and called within a day to set up the appointment. He and his co-worker showed up on time and completed the repair very quickly.

It went great, very friendly and kind. My only reservation was that the title of the service included the words "Gutter Maintenance" and that was my primary and really only reason for purchasing the service, but provider didn't really want to focus on what I was needing and wanting done. Instead I got the overall roof inspection and repairs, which I probably also needed but I wanted very much to have a profession seam repair to a gutter with a metal seam cover where it leaks all over my deck and into the house. I've had the seam just sealed with all kinds of putty and whatnot for years, and it never has held past the first rain storm, but this is what I have again. "Gutter Maintenance" also doesn't include removing debris apparently, in the fine print which I had missed, but they very kindly fixed this for me anyway.

Helped with insurance claim. Gave discount to upgrade to 30-year shingles. Were quick. Just wish they would have helped with some additional carpentry issues.
