Description of Work: I had Matthew remove and tree and grind the stump. I may have them do fill, grading and a retaining wall shortly, he's very responsive over email, follows up and get stuff done... very impressed.

Description of Work: Crescent Ridge installed a RailRoad tie retaining wall, regraded for the wall and 7500 sq ft of front lawn sod, checked and made minor repairs to the existing irrigation system replacing 3 valves and 6 rotors, and spread 90 bales of pinestraw. |Matt was a joy to work with, he made the appointment for the estimate and showed up on time, and then provided the estimate the next day. We corresponded via email and text and when we had a final plan he set up the date for the install. Matt not only showed up on the job but worked along side his team until everything was completed to our satisfaction. A few days after the job was completed he drove by just to check that all was still satisfactory. |Yes, I would recommend Matt Underwood and Crescent Ridge Landscaping to anyone looking for a landscape designer.

+ 1 moreWe love the wall. Not enough dirt was estimated for the filled area to be firm and level without add'l dirt which we added ourselves. We are retired and hauling 20 bags of topsoil in the heat ourselves was tough.

+ 1 moreOur email inquiry was immediately reponded to. All correspondence was very efficient and professional. The company representative arrived exactly when he said he would be there. Our interaction was very cordial. A written estimate was provided within three days of his onsite visit. The quote was not very detailed. The drawing of the project site reminded me of something one might encounter as part of an elementary school class project ( I was not impressed). The price quoted was a few thousand dollars higher than others bidding for the work. I was left with the sense they were not truly interested in our project. We have elected not to use this company for this project.
Description of Work: We asked this firm to quote on replacing an existing timber retaining wall with one constructed of block.

+ 5 moreHow do we describe the wonderful experience dealing with Matthew (Owner) Crescent Ridge Landscaping? This was a large project which was handled with professionalism from start to finish. Best way to describe Matthew and his company is as follows: Caring ,Dependable, Ethical, Honest, High Integrity, and a Morally Professional Individual. In other words, he is a wonderful person to do business with and be associated with. We would highly suggest you speak with Matthew prior to committing with any other Landscape Company. We are extremely pleased with the experience and the great job he and his company provided. We give Crescent Ridge Landscapes the highest possible recommendation.
Description of Work: Removed all existing shrubs and grass, graded front and back yard. Used fill dirt and top soil to level yard. Installed irrigation system, sodded front and back yard. Created islands with river rock and shrubbery. Installed driveway pavers and flag stone on front entrance walkway. Poured concrete slab for 24' x 24' detached garage.
