Arnold's Septic Tank Service

Went very well. Tank was deemed in good condition, pumped and they told us no need to pump for another 5-7 years.

We were very happy with Arnold's. The owner is great, came out to the property himself. The staff were respectful and courteous- they accomplished the needed tasks quickly and answered all of our questions. We didn't know much (or anything) about septics and the ladies in the office at Arnold's were very patient and answered all of my questions before we had even scheduled someone to come out. I would definitely recommend!

The work went fine but with the work that they did, I've been having problems getting them back to check the work that they had done. I'm surprised because he was very dedicated and said he would come back. I had a contract with him and I don't get any answers when I call him and I've been trying for about 6 weeks. I was about to go to the city because they came out and gave him the permit and I paid for it and they checked it before he covered it up. So the water is now coming out of there. The problem is where he dug it up. So I haven't been able to get in contact with him to come back and check what's going on. I was able to get in touch with him and tell him I had a problem with the septic tank 2 months ago and he said he was going to come out and look at it because sometimes you have to go in it more than one time to make it work but since then he never showed up and I've been trying to call him. According to the estimation I got he didn't dig it far enough and that's why the water is coming up.

I had an issue with my downstairs toilet over flowing whenever we used the sink or toilet and when I called a plumbing company they said that based on the description it was a septic tank issue. I call Arnold's on Saturday evening 5/25 and my call was returned at 8am on Sunday morning. I spoke with Matthew on both occasions and he we extremely professional and very nice. He stated that he could be at my house at 10am on Monday 5/26. On 5/26 Matthew called and said that he could a littler earlier at 9:30 which was 30 minutes earlier than planned and I agreed. He arrived exactly on time and did an assessment and found that the issue was not with the Septic Tank it was a plumbing line issue and that our Septic Tank did not need to be serviced for another couple of years. My husband asked him how much was his service fee and he said NOTHING. We were shocked at his compassion as he knew that we would still have to contact a plumber to get our issue resolved. Although he did not have to do anything with the Septic Tank after assessing the situation, I would recommend him to anyone based on his professionalism, responsiveness, punctuality and integrity. Thank You Matthew for being so kind and coming out on a holiday and still not charging me a service fee. : . )

They were great. They were wonderful. They did wonderful work. I would definitely recommend them. The price was definitely great. They clearly explained exactly what needed to be done. The actually recommended some other alternatives for what I needed to have done with the field mines and they stayed out there and got it done. Also for the work that they did it ended up being a larger job than they anticipated but they kept to the price they quoted.

I contacted Arnold's Septic on a Thursday. I was immediately impressed with the owner's daughter. Initially she thought I wanted my septic pumped but upon further discussion, she said that her father would be able to come out the following weekend. Even when probed about the fact that it was going to rain fairly significantly, she assured me that he would still come out to assess and potentially fix our issue. We had previously gotten several other estimates from Angie's list providers and commitments for doing the work and none came through for various reasons. On Mother's Day, although they committed to making the repair on that day (believe it or not) I was not expecting it to actually happen. However, i was contacted that morning and Mr. Arnold was there within the hour. Mr. Arnold was able to immediately figure out the problem and had everything completed in a few hours. It remains to be seen if this is the true issue but I feel confident that if it's not, he'll come back as his work is guaranteed for two years. Price was higher by a couple hundred dollars, but well worth the little extra. I guess it's true that with time comes wisdom. Kudos to Arnold's Septic. I'll definitely be using them going forward for all of my needs.

They put in new drainfield pipe around clogged pipe and restoredliquid goin from septic tank to drainfield. Time will tell if the repair was sugseful. If not I will repost updated raing.

Arnold told me the price before coming out if he had to do a bypass and charged the price quoted to me. He was very professional and helpful. He also warranted his work which nobody else would do.

However, did leave my ground torn up and not level after excavating it to access tank. I will have to do some work before spring to ensure the grass grows back and the lawn is level again.

They arrived within the scheduled time frame and they quickly diagnosed the problem. They worked efficiently and kept us well informed of what they were doing. While their equipment left some tracks in our backyard, it wasn't their fault because the ground was so wet/damp. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Technician arrived on time, explained the process of servicing septic tanks. He then off loaded his tractor and tools and located my septic tank plug. He dug up the plug service the tank. the entire procedure took a hour. The weather was cold but the technician performed professional and swift manor. I was thoroughly satisfied with the work done.

It couldn't have been better. They were polite, courteous and saved me lots of money around $1000.00. They were very fast and dependable. When I had questions he would stop and tell me what he was doing and why.

They are so wonderful, skilled and hard-working. They were cognizant that I would have to contact the utility company to mark my yard for digging and provided the number to give them a call. They were very respectful of the property and towards me. They communicated well and their price was excellent. They were careful with the grass that was there and when I had a question, he would stop the backhoe and would talk to me. They took a lot of time and care.

They were on time,courteous, and answered my questions.

They did a fantastic job. They took the sod off first, then began digging. So when it was time to replace the grass, it is so nice, almost cannot tell they were here! they were very professional and friendly.

They did a wonderful job, in all all aspects of the job. They were on the site less than 5 hours.

I called Arnolds in the morning and they were there that afternoon. He successfully pumped out the tank and also gave me some insight into the problem. Price was fair, probably iundustry standard but their quick response and professionalism impressed me. Will definitely use them again.

I found an Arnold's invoice from the previous homeowners warrant files. I had them come out for the routine three year pumping and to tell me a little about my tank. I have had some clogging and slow draining issues recently. They tried to get to the back access but could not because the previous owner had since built an addition (brick) over most of the tank. So I called my usual plumbing company to come out and unclog the main drain. I only use Arnolds. they are fast and honest.ee

I used the email link on Angies List to send them an email. Angie's List says to expect 24 hour response. NEVER got a response. Called them. Was told a technician would call me back. Never did. End of story.

We had an unusual problem with our septic tank but Arnold thought "outside the box" and fixed our problem for thousands less than we were quoted by another company as well as not having to remove our patio. (A previous owner poured our nice large patio over the septic tank). It was fascinating watching him and his helper work. I would strongly recommend Arnold to anyone.

I already had the septic tank uncovered when they got there and when they were done I had to cover it by myself.

Did an excellent job. I didn't know I had a septic tank filter but this gentleman found it and cleaned it. Very satisfied.

Water was standing in the drainage field of our septic tank. We have lived in this home for four years, and the home is 14 years old. We did not know if the septic tank had ever been pumped out. We contacted Arnolds based on the location and the excellent Angie's List report. When I called, Mr Arnold told me that fees were about to go up for dumping, so it was fortuitous I had called when I did. He said he would have Matthew call me regarding time. Both Mr. Arnold and Matthew made extra efforts to stay in touch with me so that I would know exactly when to expect them. When Matthew arrived, he and his assistant surveyed the backyard, located the tank, and discovered that the tank had no port for pumping out. Apparently this is common for older tanks; they have concrete slabs covering the tank. Matthew explained the options for me, and we chose to have a port drilled into the concrete. They then pumped out the tank. I elected to purchase bacteria to shock the now-empty tank and a year's supply of bacteria treatment. (About the same price as it would be for what you would buy in a hardware store, but this is commercial grade and more powerful.) They returned the grass to around the port, explained that we could mow over the cap if we wanted to, and then discussed drainage field. I would not hesitate to call on them again, should the need arise. They are very informed and helpful. A friend with a similar tank said he had hired a company for three different pump-outs, and each time they dug up all of the concrete lids and made a huge mess of his yard. They told them they could not install a pump-out port. He will be calling Arnold's next time!
