Surprisingly better than anticipated. Once I heard that that the original seal was still intact and the septic had likely never been pumped, I started fearing the worst. While not having any known issues, we have all heard the horror stories of the system failing...and mine was 20 years in the making. In the end, in addition to the pumping, we only needed to replaced the baffle. It wasn't until later that I learned from my husband that we are outside of Arnold's service area...but they came anyways! Not only would I highly recommend these guys, we will be using them again in the future.

The job went fantastically. The people at Arnold's are true professionals. They called ahead of time and gave me a heads-up that they were on their way, and arrived when scheduled. We discussed what I wanted done, and then they went at it. At every step of the way, they showed me their work and what was going on in the septic system. They gave me options as to what to do and how to do, with the associated cost estimates -- I never felt pressured to do anything, but felt strongly they fully and fairly explained the options open to me -- giving me the information needed to make a decision. They did their work quickly and cleaned up everything afterward. Having your septic tank cleaned out is not exactly what a homeowner wants to do -- but the folks at Arnold's made the process very very easy. I would use them again (and plan to in the future) and highly recommend them. Note the cost of service I show is for the septic tank clean out.

Service was better than expected. I am new to owning a home with a septic tank but this process was painless. Jeremy called when he was on his way to the house. They showed up on time and finished faster than they originally said. Jeremy also explained how to care for the system without pushing me tot buy anything from their company which I appreciated.

These guys are the best. They had to dig for us- and were able to get to the pump, dig with as little mess as possible, and even while they had the job to do, helped uproot a tree so we could relocate it away from the septic.

Arnold was very punctual and professional. He even changed his schedule to accommodate ours. Arnold went above and beyond what is needed for our house. He and his crew were a joy to work with and ensured everything was working before leaving the site.

Regardless of the distance between our residence and this business, they were still perfectly on time for the promised visit at 9:30 am. They were honest, kind, and diligent. I highly recommend this family owned business and cannot offer enough in they way of recognition for their quality of work and expedience. -- Hire them!

Arnold Bowen is a man of great honesty and integrity. He gives a warranty of 2 years. If you have any problems during that time period, he will come and fix it for free even if the problem wasn't his fault. In April 2013, our toilets gurgled and almost flooded whenever we drained the bathtub or ran the washing machine. Arnold found a clog in the line going from the septic tank to the drain field right where the line emerged from the septic tank. He also installed a new drain field for $2300. This was great, since our old drain field was in the front yard, 150 feet away from the septic tank. Things were fine for 1 1/2 years. Then we began having the same problem. I suspected another clog in the line going to the drain field. Arnold sent Jeremy twice to pump out the septic tank for free, but it didn't help. In April 2015, Arnold came with his backhoe and found a new clog in the line going to the drain field, about 20 feet away from the septic tank - probably caused by tree roots. I told Arnold that I felt we should pay for this because It was a new clog that had formed and didn't have anything to do with the work he did for us 2 years ago, but he refused to accept any payment.

A year ago we had Rooter Plus come out (PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY) and pump our tank. Initially a $175 job ending up being $3,200. Needless to say within a year my tank was full and spilling into my back yard. Called Rooter Plus back out and I was told I needed a chemical treatment that would be $2,100. Are you kidding me!!!! We just gave you $3,200 not even a year ago!!! So at that point, I told the tech "NO WAY WOULD YOU GET ANOTHER PENNY OUT OF US"!!!! Then I did a little research and found Arnold. I cannot begin to describe the HONESTY and INTEGRITY Mr. Arnold and his staff has. Within minutes of coming out and digging around my septic tank, he told me that there was a blockage in my lines which was keeping the water from exiting the tank. As he and his staff begin to dig up my yard, he keep me informed every step of the way. Within minutes he connected a hoses to the tank and the field lines and just like that the water started existing immediately. Make Mr. Anrold your first and finally call. He is truly an honest man and nowadays you cannot pay for find that anywhere.

The two gentlemen showed up on time. They were very professional. Since I was new to how septic tanks worked, they went over how they worked, what they were doing, what the parts were and what I should look for in the future. They also made great recommendations and did not pressure me that I had to buy these recommendations right now. Because I do not have access panels above the tank and it is located close to a gas line, they suggested I take pictures of where everything is located when the ground was opened up in case there was an emergency in the future. Some companies will not dig near a gas line if an access panel is not installed. But because I now have pictures of the exact location in relation to the house and gas lines, I should not have any problems should an emergency arise. These guys were awesome!! I even called the store after they left to let them know their guys were fantastic! Highly recommend!

It had been 3 and 1/2 years since our last septic maintenance on our 27 year old septic system. The system seemed to be working well but we do lots of clothes, showers, etc. So the system is fairly heavily used. I contacted the company and they had Jeremy their technician for my area call back. He call back quickly and asked me a number of questions about the system and its performance. Based on my responses he provided an estimate on the work to be performed. We set a date and time. The day arrived and he called to say he was on the way. He arrived on time and was clean and completely professional. He opened the system, inspected it, pumped it, cleaned it and checked the input flow and outflow. He reviewed good septic system practices for a homeowner. Jeremy added the bacteria to prime the clean system and provided a 3 year supply of packets to help maintain the bacteria levels. He then closed up the system and restored the yard to its original condition. The price was exactly what he had estimated. I would strongly recommend Arnold's as they provide outstanding service in a timely manner with good explanations and Jeremy did not try to upsell or recommend unneeded services. My wife and I are completely satisfied and will use them again.

After paying $350 to Harding to have my septic system pumped and another $80+ to a company they contracted to diagnose why the system filled up again within days after their departure- We decided to call out the pros. Mr Arnold & his assistant quickly diagnosed the problem and showed me visually where the system was having issues. The experience was night and day and they do all the work in house and on the same day. He was honest and direct giving me a few options ranging from a cheaper solution that would fix the problem up to the more expensive options that came with a 2 year guarantee (The quote we received from the original contractor was $1500 + $350 to pump the septic again with no guarantee that it would solve our issues). Needless to say... Arnold's Septic would be my suggestion if anyone made mention of a septic issue.

He was excellent and did a very good job. He explained everything about my septic. I had a problem where the water was backing up and he installed a new French drain that came with a guarantee and he basically explained everything about the fall and why it would do that. He was easy to talk to, very informative, and did a lot of educating. He was very friendly and asked to call him if we had any problems.

I called Arnold's Septic Tank Service Jan. 28, around 11 am. Discussed my problem. Water backing up in all drains in the house. Tank had never been pumped. Arnold's septic provides a high value service, though with some caveats. They arrived as scheduled (quickly) and provided a fix that was quite economical (compared to other offerings) and seems to be working fine some months later. Roots had taken out the entry area to my leach field and they inserted a bypass that feed the remainder of the field, which appeared totally dry and so was getting none of the tank effluent before their repair. This was done at a most reasonable cost, rather less then other services wanted. Also importantly to me, Arnold did not talk down to me and was very clear on my options once he'd diagnosed the situation. He also took ownership of a problem that developed months afterward (water main leak) and had it repaired by his plumber (Brian - 770 238 6586 - excellent) who came ASAP that same evening when we reported the leak to him (leak was verified by the town utility folk). The caveats are fairly minor: this is a high margin business so one would think that there would be an extra degree of service care. However, in spite of our request to bring his backhoe up our (soon to be replaced) driveway, he came up our front (and rather steep) front lawn which made a bit of a mess of it. The other is that more care with the back hoe might have prevented the damage to the water main running to the house and also might have avoided shattering the 4" outflow PVC pipe on the septic tank. I also would have been happier were a "T" ($5 at Home Depot) used rather than just inserting the shunting flex pipe into a cut in the field pipe. But, those quibbles said, all seems to be working so this may be satisfactory. Time will tell. Also of note to some potential customers is that he does not carry comp; not a big deal for what I had done though not risk free of course.

We called Arnold and got the estimate on the phone. From his experience and the questions he asked he could determine the problem. Then we called him back within a couple weeks. He told us to call 811 to mark utilities.. After it was cleared he came out in a few days and unstopped the drain field in about an hour and half. He had one assistant. When he left he called an employee to come pump out the tank. Jeremy came about an hour later and pumped out the tank. Arnold and Jeremy were very professional and knowledgeable. It is guaranteed for 2 years. I was pleased with the service and it was very reasonable. We had expected it to cost much more. I would recommend this company. His daughter makes his appointments for an approximate time and he calls about an hour before he comes. They try to schedule you when you want the service. Ours wasn't an emergency.

Phoned Arnold's on Sunday afternoon and was surprised someone answered the phone. The lady asked what I needed and said a technician would call me back shortly to set up a time to come out. Again pleasantly surprised when Jeremy called me back within 30 min.Jeremy had asked what was going on with septic and I explained that it had been over 8ys since I had tank pumped and now when I took a shower water was gurgling up through the toilet. He was able to schedule me for the next day (Monday). Jeremy called me that morning to let me know he was on his way. He was on time and professional. Jeremy asked me again to explain what was happening and how long it had been since tank was pumped and which bathroom was having problems with the gurgling. He dug tank lid up and sure enough it was full. He had me flush every toilet one at a time so he could see how water was flowing.There was a clog at the master toilet line. He ran water through lines and a huge clog came out. FYI, don't use flushable wipes. Jeremy was hard working, respectful of my property and explained everything to me. I would call Arnold's again because of Jeremy and the good honest service.

The service was great and there were no hidden changes. Jeremy provided contacted me to coming to provide an estimated time of arrival the morning of the service. Once arriving, we had some difficulty locating the actual site of the septic tank due to a structure which was added to the house and I didn't have a layout of the septic tank. Jeremy waited very patiently while I called Environmental Services to obtain the information need to locate the septic tank. Jeremy is very personable and didn't express any frustration during the downtime. I would recommend Arnold's Septic to my neighbors and they will be my go to services if I ever experience any septic concerns. Jeremy also honored the $25 coupon on my services despite the delay in time. GREAT Job!!

That worked out fine. They came quickly. They had a set price and he stuck to the set price. He was very good. They came quickly too. I think I had one thing the one day and the other one the next day. They were very responsive. I was getting ready to sell my house and I certainly wanted to have the septic system alright. The pricing was very reasonable. He regraded everything and did a nice job. They were punctual.

It was really well. I would use him again. They guy told me, "There is a chance that there could be some other roots growing towards the drain field." And he said that if there is, there's a service that they can do that they don't have to replace the drain field that would save you a lot of money and he says, "Don't worry about it unless you start having some more problems. You won't notice something within two to two and a half months." I haven't had any problems since then so maybe I'm good to go. He said, "Just watch it. If you have anything back up on you again, it's probably this. We could do this procedure and it would cost you this amount of money and that's just our standard price." I said, "Okay." He did what he what he had to do. He put the dirt back in where it had to go back in, smoothed it all out and didn't leave a mess so I would say they did good. He told me upfront and he said, "I got two jobs in front of me but I'll call you when I get ready to leave the job right before you." He called and he said, "I'm probably 30 minutes away."

They were absolutely fantastic. They were personable they had good ideas to get around the problem/issues that we faced had with our septic tank.
