They arrived when they say they'll arrive. Usually within an hour of the scheduled time. They will reschedule when I need them to do so. If I need them to come before noon, they will come before noon. The technician also alerted me to a hidden armadillo hole that I haven't spotted yet. ( The price below ics per quarter)

Treatment varies each time and quality. Rarely does the same person return. They need to do a more consistently quality of treatment.

This team is easy to work with and they are always kind and courteous when we speak with them. We have used their service for 3 years and whenever there is even a slight sighting of an insect - they have been at our house within 24 hours (even as little as 2 hours). Our sightings of insects are minimal and it is all due to the great work this team provides. Very thankful for them.

It was good.

not impressed. Must have been water in the can, because the bugs were still around weeks later. Didn't even go in all of the rooms and closets, check for cracks or treat the outside they way they said they would.

Good service, from initial phone contact to scheduling, inspection, and follow up. We will definitely maintain a contract with American Pest Control.

Insector was very professional and thorough, and informed us that we had no termite problem. Said house was apparently last treated with chlordane, which has an extremely long life.

I called around different pest control businesses for estimates. Their price was higher so I chose to go with another one. The customer service representative was very helpful and answered all my questions.

They do all our pest control. They treated our house and now they come every year to inspect and prevent any termites. It is a termite inspection. We are the second owners of the house so when we bought this house they were already doing a contract so we decided to keep it as well. They put the chemicals in the ground before we bought the house. They come every year to do the inspection. A part of the contract is that we wouldn’t have any termites and they would come if there are any. The treatment is going fine and we don’t seem to have any termites and everything is good.

Our contractor employed APC to treat our home for the prevention of termites. Yesterday two American Pest Control men show up at my house without any notification. There was never a phone call or email. They come on our property with out permission and begin to install the system. As they were leaving, one of the men said our dog bit his partner. His partner was walking behind the bushes next to my bathroom. I was a little creeped out because I was taking a shower and never heard them arrive. So that is when the alleged bite took place. I looked at the man's leg and only saw scratches. Now Animal control is coming to get our dog for 10 days. IF American Pest Control had called, IF they had given notice about their service time or arrival date, I would have put our dog in the kennel. Many people come on our property and our dog has not bitten anyone. So I don't even know if my dog actually bit the guy. IF there are puncture wounds, we can't be sure my dog did this. Our kids are upset and I am furious. (This is my first post on Angie's list.)

It went very well. They were a little slow getting out the first time - the first appointment was scheduled for 12 days after my initial call. This was probably expected though, since the area was just recovering from the week long shut down due to the snow an ice storm that hit at the beginning of 2011.

I believe last time, they found evidence of termite activity, and I believe what they do is put an attractive poison piece of wood in there to determine if it should be inspected for damage. I think they initial cost was $1000, and then every year after I pay them $300 to come out and inspect the traps four times a year and any damage they find is repaired under the $1000 plus the $300. I think it is the Cutting Edge Termite Maintenance contract that is offered now by most pest control dealers. I used them when I lived in Athens between 1969 and 1982. Then, they treated termites by spraying. There was damage there when they started, so they didn't repair that but it was not an active infestation. They came back back out and sprayed one wall in the foundation every year. I've had them long enough to know what they should do and what they don't have to do. They satisfied me. Then, the owner, who I knew, retired and I moved to Raleigh, so I didn't use them for five years. Then, I moved back and used them on a new house from 1987 until 1994. I was very satisfied with them that time also. Then, I used them in 2004 just outside of Athens, and they have been with me since the beginning of 2005 or 2006. They have been my company since. They came out and treated and installed the current system. They have been very satisfactory. The company as a whole, including the man that has retired, has been in business since 1945. They became American Pest Control when they took over from the original owner. I think the two companies, together, have been in business that long. They have got experience and experienced pest control officers. They do good job and are very reasonable.

I did have termites 6 months ago, so they came out and treated the problem. Now we don t have them any more. We ve been using them for 2 years; their service came with the house and the owners were happy with them so we stayed with them. We have had only good experiences with them and would recommend them.
