 + 0 moreHe was great. We set the appointment and he called me to let me know he was on his way and when he would be arriving. He checked my fireplace and let me know it was in great shape and didnt need cleaning. He also checked the outside and cover on the roof. Only charged a trip charge. Awesome.
Description of Work: I called Dale to have my chimney cleaned and checked for winter.

Description of Work: Coordinated in advance time of arrival. On time. Professional. Courteous. Inspected the chimney from inside the house and from the roof top. Determined the chimney did not require a sweep at this time and that all was intact and good working order on top. Charged for inspection visit only. Did I mention honest? Highly recommended.

 + -1 moreThis was a great experience. When looking for a reccomendation from angies list, i noticed on the other providers people were saying they ended up spending much more than anticipated..... Alpha Chimney checked the flu and said it did not need to be cleaned and charged the basic call fee. Very honest and a pleasure to do business. Worth waiting for

 + 0 moreDale was responsive and timely. He called an hour before he arrived and was timely. The price for the cleaning was $99, which was more than fair considering the work being completed. Our vent had not been cleaned for several years and ran up to the second floor. We are pleased with the results and will call him again.

 + 0 moreEverything went great. See above for full story. I was very pleased and will definitely use Dale again. He even told me that I wouldn't need a chimney sweep for another 5-7 years, which I was happy to hear he wasn't going to try to up-sell anything in the near future to me.
Description of Work: Dale arrived on time and prepared to work immediately. He started with cleaning the dryer vent in my home. It was a pretty big job because I've only lived in this home for about 4 months and there's no telling when the last time it was cleaned was. However, after vacuuming and cleaning it for about 20 minutes, he also cleaned up all the mess that blew out the outdoor vent into my yard. He then began sweeping the chimney, which took a little longer, around 25 minutes to complete. He was very thorough and didn't leave a mess in my home at all. He even laid a drop cloth to catch any soot that may fall out of the chimney onto my floors. The whole thing took about an hour and I am very happy with the end result.

 + -1 moreHe arrived promptly, apologized for the small fee for inspection and saved us $1500. I had him do my sister's chimney and he found a crack but told us exactly how much and when the pre-fab panel would need to be replaced. very inexpensive and knowledgable!
Description of Work: Another company had swept our chimney and told us we had incorrectly installed chimney tiles, a crack in the top plate and need expensive repair they could do the next day for 1500$. A very pushy sales woman made us suspicious so we called Alpha Chimney Sweeps, he came out the day after we called, was prompt, VERY knowledgeable and courteous and told us there was nothing wrong with our chimney. Apparently previous company has done this with several others and look to see how much they think they can charge you for. We paid 225 to have our chimney cleaned and she kept saying it could have gone as high as 450 if her worker had found heavy build-up of creasote. We didn't know before, but we do now!!!!!! Check out people on the National Guild of chimney sweeps for reputable people.
