A-Ok Heating & Cooling

My home is almost 12 years old. My heat pump fan was constantly running and my home was not as warm as usual. When I received my power bill last week I was shocked because $200.00 is really high considering recent temps. I called A-OK and David came out the same day and discovered a freon leak that was in a very difficult area to weld. He took time to show me the leak and explain that he could repair the leak but because of the high cost of the old type freon and the fact that my unit was completely empty the repair would be somewhat costly. After considering all my options I decided to replace the heat pump. I am really glad that I took his advise and decided to replace the unit. The air handler he removed from the attic had rust all around the coils and would have produced another leak in the near future. He explained the newer technology allows this part of the air handler to be made of a tough plastic that can withstand high temps and not rust like the old units. David gave me 4 options and price ranges for a new unit. He came back today around 10:00 and brought another installer to help, they had the heat pump, and air handler installed and running by 2:30. I am impressed by the professionalism and knowledge of David, the owner and will definitely use this company again and would recommend A-OK Heating and Cooling to my friends.
