He arrived at my house at about 10:00 am and didn't leave until about 5:00 pm. He spent almost the entire day at my house. He even drove to the Home Depot and Lowe's for parts and supplies. He had never given me an estimate for the work and my wife knew that he was going to charge me an arm and a leg for all the time that he spent there. He installed a new garbage disposer, repaired a broken pipe under the kitchen sink, replaced the ballast in the kitchen light, hung a new fluorescent light in the carport. Repaired and removed another fluorescent light in the workshop replaced all the washers in two bathtubs to stop the drips. After all the work was done, I was holding my breath when I asked him how much I owed him.
