Two upstairs back-to-back bathrooms were totally remodeled including taking both back to the studs, moving a wall and all the plumbing, changing out the electric hot water heater for a tankless system and removing a ceiling in the room below the baths. These baths both originally contained tubs and the remodel enlarged the master bath and changed it to a walk-in shower and the other bath remained a tub bath. All fixtures were replaced with new and a pocket door was added to the common bathroom wall allowing both adjoining bedrooms access to both bathrooms. Our selections included some more expensive fixtures which inflated the costs of the contract. The demolition, hot water heater replacement and the majority of the work went as planned. Unfortunately, the cabinets were delayed due to equipment problems but once they arrived, they were very well built. With the cabinet delay all the other trades who required the cabinets in place to continue were pushed out and we lost our place with a number of the subcontractors creating an overall delay. Ron did his best to get the subs to work us back into their schedules as soon as possible, but the completion was slightly later than we expected. Ron is a detail oriented consummate professional. We were very surprised and pleased with all of the subcontractors he used - not only in the quality of work but the individuals who were in our home. All were considerate and very respectful. Those employees of Ron that worked in our home were very accommodating and courteous. Not one of the people who I met in our home gave me any concern for the safety of my possessions or left me doubtful about being in the home alone with them. (I have a considerable job history with various construction related businesses and this is very unusual that even the employees of the subs did not give us any concern.) The completed work is wonderful and is how we imagined the finished project would be. We are extremely pleased. The budget seemed a little high at the onset but we had heard such wonderful things about Ron we wanted him to do the work. The little extra we contracted for paid for a very high quality product and the satisfaction of knowing the work was done correctly. We will use Ron again if we ever need additional renovation work.

Mr Lucas is very responsive and friendly. We had a bathroom remodel performed by another contractor and a lot of the work that he did was very poorly done. Ron came out and looked at the work and helped identify issues with the bathroom. No additional work has been done on the bathroom as of now, however, Ron is very professional and smart on renovations and I greatly appreciated his time coming out to look at our bathroom. We will definitely use him for future projects.

I called and made an appt for an estimate for a bathroom remodeling project and he came the following week. He arrived right on time and was very professional and informative. He listened very intently to what I wanted to have done and then gave me some helpful suggestions and advice on my project. He took measurements and lots of pictures of my bathroom. Approximately 2 weeks later we met at his office and he gave me a presentation like out of HGTV. He had the picutures he had taken of my bathroom and also on a big screen a replica of my bathroom, showing me what he had proposed to do. It was a very hard decision because I was very impressed with Ron. The person I actually chose was a little higher in their estimate, but a friend had used him and I saw the actual remodeling job and I really liked what he had done, so I chose him instead Ron.

Very well. He was very professional. He was able to adjust to our budget and maintain a quality estimate. Very knowledgeable about his area.

They are a great company. I have seen some of the work and the estimates he gave to us were a lot more fair than some of the other people we have talked to. What stood out was his personality, he was easy to talk to. Understood what we were asking to be done.

I called to schedule for work to be done and they were so far ahead booked that the earliest someone could come out was in 3 weeks is the only reason they weren't used. It goes to show that when you're good you stay booked. My loss because of bad timing when my pipe broke inside my wall I would have loved for them to come out.

Very happy with the results. I got several quotes for the job to remodel my kitchen. And while Ron's wasn't the cheapest, I decided to go with him because of the great ideas and suggestions he had. His company's name includes the word 'design'. And that's exactly what you get.

Our previous contractor had made mistakes in prep-work which were not easily seen but which caused our travertine shower to leak slowly into our foundation. Ron Lucas diagnosed the problem and clearly spelled out how to fix it; he then went about doing so on schedule and on budget with decent guys working for him. We will definitely use him again. Strongly recommend.

We started in September, he said he'd have it done by Christmas and he did. He brought in good workers but with his ideas he comes up with great idea. He said he'd probably change our mind on some things and he did. It's an older home and in the living room you could see it was wall paper over center blocks. On one wall he suggested we make it a brick wall, I loved it and we did it. It is is awesome looking. He put lighting up that focuses on that wall. They redid the beams that were in the living room, they are wood and they are gorgeous now. I loved it from day one and he was so easy to work with. He said he was very budget conscious and he really was. He would take us shopping to help us pick out things. When I picked out something too expensive he would help me find something that looked just as great but fit our budget more. I can not speak highly enough of him. The people he brought in, like the electricians said they would lock up the house for me and they did. They left the light on for me the day the time changed because it would be dark when we got back home. They were good people and we stayed here in our master bedroom while the work was on going so it's good they locked up. What little things came up Ron would just iron them out. I've always heard horror stories and our experience didn't turn out that way. We know some people who used him and are just as pleased. I'd use them again in a skinny minute.
