My problem was one kitchen light and one light switch. They were at my home for 1 hour 20 minutes then left to get the part at Home Depot. About 2 hours later they come back, it took about 30 minutes to replace the light and switch. Total they were at my house for about 1 hour 50 minutes. Now look below at the cost, then I will explain how the price kept increasing. Cost for the diagnostic (troubleshoot) was $177.10 Cost to replace light was $189.75 Cost to replace switch was $63.71 Total for 1 hour 50 minutes of work, diagnostic and labor $430.56. Now I will explain how they kept adding on: Safety check and dispatch fee is waived if they do diagnostic for $177.10, they have you sign for diagnostic. After diagnostic it will be $189.75 extra to replace the light, they have you sign. I asked for a estimate at the beginning, but the estimate turned out to be as you go through the repair. Sure you can stop the repair at anytime, but Mr. Electric of Columbus is the only one that Home Advisor recommended. There should be more options on Home Advisor than this one. I will never use Mr. Electric again. It was a costly lesson and I will ensure that anyone looking for a electrician not to use this one.

Mr. Electric of Columbus is an extremely professional team. Great and fast communucations and service. From day one (actually within minutes of my initial inquiry) they were contacting me and providing options for a visit to make a free estimate. My project was in a rural area near Columbus and they did not hesitate to come and do the project. These were the only folks that were willing to come and do this project. That, by itself, tells you a lot! The project consisted mainly on replacing fluorescent light features with LEDs. The project was for a barn and a studio within the barn. So, you can say it was a combination of commercial and residential job. When they came in for the estimate, they were very professional, quickly started to evaluate the project and had an estimate. They explained everything to me, asked several questions about what I wanted and closed the deal. Two days later they were here doing the project. Completed it on time and I am very pleased. I will fully recommend and will hire again.
