They showed up on time with a crew and got right to work. Things looked like they were going well when I noticed they were not replacing all the felt. He pointed to the contract which specified ?replace as needed?. I argued the point and he agreed to replace all the felt. BUT, by the time he showed up with the felt, the roof was done. To his credit, he did have his crew replace a section where the colors didn?t match exactly. He noticed it and started the correction before I noticed it. They started half way through day 2 and didn?t completely finish. Then, at about 3 o?clock on Saturday, (day 4 ? they skipped day 3) he wanted to show up to finish the work at 5. I told him no as my family was having a cook out and he was upset with me. Anyway, the roof work looked average. What wasn?t average was that I had to remind him about the fascia board ? then he asked if I had paint for it. The work on the fascia was horrible. Then I had to remind him about the cricket ? he never built/installed it. I ended up paying him the majority of the money, but held back the remaining several hundred because he never finished the work. Overall, a good price, but not really worth it. I would have rather paid an extra $1,000 to get more professionalism and better quality out of them.

Mr. Lawrence gave me an estimate for repairing my driveway and replacing my windows. I wanted to do the windows first and gave him a deposit of $900. I gave him a date of when the other contractors would be out of his way and he committed to completing the work in 2 days. It took 30+ days and when I would call him to find out when the job would be completed he would not answer my calls unless I called from an unfamiliar number. He would never return calls when messages were left. When I checked him out with the BBB he had a rating of 5F. Mr. Lawrence completed the job on 1/3 and he underestimated the cost of the windows and wanted me to pay the additional fees without notifying me in advance of the additional fees. I have been informed that he has changed the name of his company 3 times due to lawsuits against him. The subcontractor that he hired to perform the work did a good job installing the windows.

The provider was seemingly professional and courteous in the beginning and assured me he would do a good job. Once he got the money, no job was done. His phone message list is full and you cannot leave a message. When he finally did call me back that one time on the 7th of Nov., He gave me the excuse that his mother had died in New York on the November 1st and that he would start the work on the following Tuesday. I have not heard from him since.
