Grayhawk Homes Inc

We purchased our home one year ago. Exactly one year after, we started having issues. Due to the hurricane that passed through, our home had water damage. Come to find out when the home was built the dining room windows were not properly sealed. I had my homeowner's insurance send out an inspector and general contractors who both felt the builders should be able to assist as it was only a year from purchase and due to the way they built the home. I have called Grayhawk multiple times, leaving voicemails, being transferred to the warranty department. Not once did anyone bother to return my call! it's very upsetting that this is how they treat families. They build these homes, that don't sell for cheap, but yet can't bother to return a phone call??? To say that I am disappointed is putting it kindly. I would highly not recommend these builders.

This is not the first issue I have had with the home and getting Grayhawk to solve problems that were obviously here at the time of construction, and never were properly addressed. They want top dollar for their homes but will not stand behind their work, or offer top quality work. This particular issue is that they will not correct improperly installed features, such as a shimmed cover for the hood vent in the kitchen. instead, they claim that it is out of warranty. So, if you find it acceptable to use 2x4s to hold cabinet fixtures in place, you have come to the right place. Needless to say, this was hidden up on top of the cabinets, and i did not notice it until researching a bug problem. They apparently find it acceptable to mask or hide poor worksmanship knowing that as long as you dont see it before the warranty is up, they are in the clear.

Dave Erickson built homes in Ivy Park under the old business name of Pinnacle Homes. the caulking and fascia he used was terrible quality.. and 7 yrs later has rotted out... the roof was done very poorly, Handles in Shower and tub are able to be moved because the pipes weren't tied down-very poor .... now Dave is Grayhawk Homes?? BUYER BEWARE!!

Our home was purchased 2002 from Pinnacle Homes....Starting in Sept 2009 we noticed big cracks in the foundation. I immediately contacted the builder Dave Erickson of Gray Hawk Homes formerly known as Pinnacle homes for the problem. He sent out his foreman to access the damages. The foreman Howard Givens came out to talk with us about our damages. He stated that piers were installed by Hill Staton Engineering company and the piering should be holding. Mr. Givens also stated that they could not find any records showing any payment of the piers which makes us question if they are even installed. Gray Hawk refused to fix the problem and we have continued to work with the warranty company that has the warranty on the house. I have filed complaints at BBB on this company with no results. My neighbors house was built by Pinnacle homes/GrayHawk and we were told they had the same problem. Gray Hawk will not honor their workmanship nor will the warranty company that supplies warranties to his home. We have reports of the damages to the home and no one should trust this builder to do right by them.
