Everything exceeded my expectations, Ronnie did a wonderful job.

Ronnie came out the day I called for an estimate. I was surprised at how quickly he responded. After I chose the colors I wanted, he was ready to go and completed the job in 2 days.

He is an excellent worker and his prices are reasonable. I made it clear to him the brand of paint that I wanted him to use that was very important to me. He went ahead and used a different brand and I had written it down and I felt like I am the consumer and I am paying for it and he knew at the front end what I wanted. I felt that was unethical and I guess I expected him to do most of the work on the house, and instead his son did it. I am not saying that the son is bad, but if they have the expectation that Mr. Fuller is going to do the work, they will be wrong. On the one hand, his work is excellent; he can do anything. But, if he is not going to be respectful enough to do what I want and do exactly what he wants to do, that is a problem for me as a consumer.

They did a fantastic job. It was very high quality. We were extremely pleased. A lot of old wallpaper had to be removed and they did an excellent job removing all the old wallpaper and in prepping the walls for the new paint and then coming back and touching up. They did a fantastic job.

The estimate was reasonable, he arrived when he said he would and is very pleasant. We are in a bit of a hurry to get everything done, otherwise I would have hired him to do the work.

We loved Area Painting Co/ Ronnie Fuller's work. He was great. He was clean, courteous, timely and reasonably priced. He did everything within 30 minutes which is nice if you have young children out home. He also came out on a Saturday which to me is amazing.

I called Ronnie for an estimate and he came out the next day. Gave us a great estimate and was able to do the work within a week, specifically on the day that worked for us. He showed up 30 minutes early and began working. Their work was outstanding. We have absolutely no complaints. They cleaned up everything and left our house just as they found it. They even had their own water hose to wash their stuff outside. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with Ronnie and will be calling him again in the near future to do the rest of our interior.

Ronnie and his helper were very nice and professional. They started the job right away after the estimate and after he started I added more work and he finished everything I wanted in a timely manner and did a great job. I will call him for any painting projects I have in the future.

I called Ronnie Fuller for an estimate and he came down next day. I then contracted with him to paint the entire interior of my home (8 rooms and two halls). All rooms were same color, contractor beige, and I was ready for color!. I furnished paint, different colors for each room. He let me know how much to buy and recommended Sherwin Williams. He was very prompt, VERY professional, and completed the job on time as promised. Even did some trim work that we hadnt discussed in the estimate! I would HIGHLY recommend him (and of course Lance) for any job, big or small. Thank you so much Ronnie and Lance! I LOVE IT!!!

Outstanding!! We needed a bedroom painted over the holidays since we were making it into a home office. I thought I would be able to get it done myself but simply ran out of time. After seeing the high ratings on Angie's List I emailed Mr Fuller and within an hour I had a very professional and courteous response. He was over the next day with an estimate and the following day did the work.sets We have had very, very bad luck with painters since moving to Columbus 18 months ago. Mr. Fuller is our new painter. But believe me we ARE picky. My wife is an interior designer and even had some of her work on HGTV so she knows what she is looking for and she too is very pleased with his work, professionalism-everything. Highly recommend!

Area Painting came out and gave me a quote and then I asked him a few questions and then I called him back later that day to say that I would like him to do the job and he doesn't seem to want to talk to me anymore. I reached him twice on the phone and he said, "Let me call you back tonight when I got my schedule," and he didn't call so I really just gave up on him. I wanted to use him. He got great ratings from folks, but I don't know what I did to him. I don't think I did anything other than just ask a few questions. I was very disappointed because I had some other quotes from some other people and I was very interested and his was the best price and I was going to use him, but maybe he's just really busy. I thought it was a little rude to just give up returning my phone calls. He could have at least said I can't do it until this time or something or I just never want to do it and it's not a big enough job for me, but he had other jobs that were actually smaller than this one would have been. One of the things that kind of bothered me was he came and saw and everything and just gave me a price and he didn't give me anything in writing. He didn't say this is what he would do and not a lot of details and that's what I was trying to get to when I talked to him so that I knew when I was talking about other quotes what would be, you know, comparing apples to apples. It was disappointing. The first time he was going to come he called and canceled and it was late. The second time he didn't show up and said he actually went to some other place, another house in the neighborhood, and didn't call me. It took three times to get him there, so I guess I can't really say anything good about punctuality either. You know if you don't return phone calls or you say you will return a phone call and then don't that's not professional, I mean it's find for someone to say I got so many jobs I can't take this on or it's not right for me. My last phone call to him I said if the quote you gave in retrospect you think that's just not a realistic quote then that's okay and you can say that because it still is a lot lower than anybody else, so I still would have if you said it really needs to be a $1,000 or whatever.

We are very happy with Ronnie's work. Our home looks amazing. His professionalism shines through his work.

I got Ronnie's name and info from Angie's List after getting an estimate from someone I had used to paint the exterior of my house. I was happy with the other company, so called them, but he was honest and said he couldn't get to it until late July. Then I found the excellent reviews on Ronnie, and called him. Not only did he beat the other company's price by a good bit, but he was able to do the job the next two days. So I hired him and he got it done as he said he would. In fact, I even added on painting the kitchen cabinets since his price was good and I was afraid I would hate the old cabinets once everything else got done. If I could give him better than an A, I would! Ronnie was a pleasure to work with, his prices are EXCELLENT and he did a great job. He deserves an A++. I will definitely call him for any painting jobs I need in the future.

The estimate was very, very reasonable and I am going to use him when I decide on the color and then get it painted. I went through their review first on Angies’s List site. When I went through the reviews, I looked at the amount, and the prices were very reasonable. The customers were quite satisfied with him. So he came out, and he told me he would arrive at 4:00 but he was here at 3:50. He was a very nice person. I showed him what I wanted to be painted and he looked at it and told me what kind of paint to get. When I am ready with the paint, it would only take him a day to paint 3 rooms. Right now, I am happy with the person. I would definitely work with this company.

I have extremely mixed feelings about writing this review, as Mr. Fuller's reputation is outstanding. He even has a recent service award! And it was this rating on Angie's List that prompted me to contact him. In terms of his professionalism and responsiveness, I couldn't have asked for anything better! He is responsive, prompt, professional, and courteous in his interactions with customers. I was extremely pleased with the way he presented himself and responded to all of my questions & needs in terms of doing the work. He estimated that the job would take 2 days, but it was completed in only 1 day, which was even better than I expected. And his estimate was exactly what I was charged. All of these things were excellent. Unfortunately, that is where my satisfaction ends. After the paint completely dried, it was quite apparent that the job was not as good as I had hoped or thought it would be. The patches are quite obvious where he repaired the drywall, the color of the old paint shows through in sections below the chair rail, it appears that some places of the door were not painted, and the lines of demarcation between the two colors are not straight and crisp. In other words, it does not look like the stellar job I was expecting. In fairness to Mr. Fuller, I have not contacted him directly to give him the opportunity to fix the problem. My confidence is shaken when a job is not done correctly the first time around. So, I will have the work corrected by someone else, however, having to pay 2 people to do the same job will make it more expensive than I had anticipated the job to be. I have used Angie's List in 2 different cities, and heretofore, have been extremely satisfied with the quality of the work performed by companies I got on this service. This experience, however, makes me a little nervous to have so much confidence in ratings given by Angie's List customers.

We called Ronnie and he came the very next day to give us an estimate. The work started within two days. He and his son did the work and arrived promptly at the time agreed upon. They completed the work without any delays. Ronnie and his son are very skilled and experienced in everything they do. They are very personable and friendly while working. When they finished, everything was exactly as we requested. We will certainly recommend them and call them again in the future.

Ronnie gave me an estimate for my living room and bedroom wall and trim and it was right on. He did an excellent job with the painting and he even installed a small fan for me on the porch. He was on time and polite. I would definitely use him again.

I emailed Area Painters from the Angie's List link on Friday evening. Saturday morning he called and came out for the estimate. He started work on Monday. He was able to fix the problems I had created by trying to remove several old layers of drywall. He worked so quickly that we asked him to add some other rooms to his job list. He was prompt in arriving when he said he would each morning, and fairly estimated his time and expenses.

Mr. Fuller did a great job and was very punctual and responsive. He came and spent two days scraping and painting our kitchen ceiling to repair a previous owner's attempt to paint latex over oil based paint. He also sanded and painted our kitchen cabinets, our trim and the walls. He did a great job and was very efficient and professional. We would definitely recommend him!

They came within an hour of me calling to give me an estimate and we set a date immediately to have project completed within a weeks time. They were very meticulous, and professional, and friendly. Would definitely recommend to friends and I would use them again.
