+ 0 moreGene was recommended by a local Realtor. He was pleasant on the phone - but missed our first meeting entirely. When I called him again he said he had forgot and re-scheduled. The second meeting he called a few minutes prior and re-scheduled again. When I finally met with him he appeared knowledgeable, I liked what he talked about for ideas, and he suggested bringing his plumber over and recommended an electrician. He came back again with the plumber and offered to send me a copy of a prior inspection he had done on the house that night and a bid the following day. I called once again a couple of days later and he said he would get them both to me that night. At that point he stopped taking my calls and I have never heard from him again.
Description of Work: Gene agreed to give a bid on a remodel job. After several meetings and saying he would give a bid - he did not follow through and stopped taking my calls.

+ -1 moreI was glad that I hired Gene Strickland of Ace Home Inspector to do my home inspection.
Description of Work: I was very impressed by Gene. He did a very detailed job, showed me the defects in the house, explained the problems and also let me know approximately how much it would cost to fix those problems. Gene's detailed pdf (electronic document) report which included pictures of all the defects and which he emailed within a day of the inspection. The work that he did helped me and my wife make a buying situation with confidence. We highly recommend Gene Strickland for home inspections."
