+ -1 moreThey came out to our home explained the system and installed. The gentlemen was very nice and extremely thorough in explaining the system ans supporting app set-up. We have had a few incidents were we required service on the system and everytimethey have been prompt to respond.

+ -1 moreIn spite of the fact we had been loyal customers, we elected to switch security companies. It was not necessary to try to collect extra money from us. It was wrong and dishonest. I would not recommend trusting the security of your home to a company that must resort to these type of practices to insure their company thrives.
Description of Work: In August our system suffered a lightening strike - unknown to us. twenty-four hours later we were contacted by the company and notified there was "trouble on the line". A repairman was scheduled and when he arrived looked at the system and said lightening and he would let the company know to send another person to see what needed to be done. (No charge for this visit since it was a lightening strike). The next person scheduled by the company was in fact a salesman who walked into our house and without looking at anything announced the entire system would need to be replaced with the exception of the sensors that were not hard-wired. The estimate were high but bearable, but the kicker was......we would have to commit to a 36 month agreement at 10.00 more per month than we were currently paying OR we could pay $576.00 more for the same equipment and be allowed to continue to pay the currant monthly monitoring amount of $29.95. In other words we are to be punished because lightening struck - an act of God, nothing we could control. We had been their customers for 4 years.

Description of Work: I have been a customer with ACOM since 1994. I have not had any incidents with them. They give me prompt and great services. I am glad they are here locally. I used another competitor , (spouse did it, not me. ) We had to change after a few months. They were not dependable. I had to say: I told you so! Thank you ACOM! WIRELESS TOO!monthly payments

+ 0 moreThese people are very professional. They talked with me about what they were doing and why they were doing it. They are friendly. The worked efficiently. They could not "break" the existing alarm code, so it costs another 100.00 to make that right. They also, went over the keypad and explained in detail about the setting of the alarm system. I demonstrated to them what they taught me. , They taught me how to obtain the utmost security from the system. I feel so much safer now.
Description of Work: We already had an existing alarm system, but we needed and upgrade. A person came out to talk about what we wantedand what we needed. The next week they came back to do the actual work. We have a direct connection to the local Fire dept, and we have an alarm for an electrical fire in the attic. These alarms on are both sides of the house. We also have a sensor around the heating/ac unit to prevent copper theft. All of our windows have alarms and we can tell which window is being compromised.
