Here is how things went as stated in my email to Mr. Paulk... Casey, I wanted to provide you an update on my backyard your Team worked on last month... Today I finished the following: - Removing Pine Straw - Installing Metal Edging - Installing Weed Barrier - Replacing drainage pipe The reason I am sharing this information is because I have been struggling since I paid in full (8-13-2013). I had communicated to you some concerns along the way, but apparently failed to follow through to a point where there was some sort of resolution. Besides the $3,875 I paid you last month, we also paid you $200 for the design fee...Totaling $4, 075 to landscape my backyard. I can't argue that you installed what the proposal said, but I feel compelled to convey my frustration with the quality and attention to detail. $4000 is a lot of money for my Family and I just don't see it when I sit on my patio. Attention to detail: - Covered two sprinkler heads (One with weed barrier and rock)...I told you about this and it was never resolved - The drain tube going from the smaller North step out the gate was cut in half and water was shooting up...there is no-way this wasn't noticed - There was no weed barrier installed in the planting areas (See attached results)... - Pine straw appeared to be old and dried out...edging was not crisp and rounded. Some type of edging to separate grass and flower beds...looked like it was just dumped in place I called Paulk Landscaping because of an advertisement area on Watson I thought was sharp...We met and my wife and I liked you. "Nice guy...he'll take care of us" My wife is disappointed in the quality and the entire experience...Visitors too are less than impressed I have been in the military for 21 years, I too have customers. Relationships are critical to knowing what is wanted and expected on both ends I manage airfields for a living, so how I allowed the minimal detail and assumptions to go un-checked prior to execution is beyond me...fail The bottom line is that when a product changes hands both parties should feel fulfilled with a sense of satisfaction I do not feel that the quality of work matches the amount of money I paid you Also, you knew I was having some issues from previous emails...you never came by to walk around, talk or even shake my hand...but you took our money For what it's worth...these are the feelings of one of your customers

They are good people to do work for. They are prompt, came by when they needed to. They did a good job.
