I called Eric and the outgoing message said he was on vacation that week. I left a message for him to call me when they returned. Eric's son called first thing that morning that they returned and was out to the house 2 or 3 hours later. Our gutters were terribly clogged due to sweet gum balls, so he had to clean it by hand. He also re-attached a soffit that had been pulled down by squirrels, and plugged the hole above it with metal flashing secured by screws. Did a great job, and you can't see it from the ground. He also removed a bird's nest (no birds or eggs) that had been perched up on the down-spout just below the soffit with the hole in it. And of course he blew off the driveway, front porch and cleaned up all the mess and hauled it away. I was very pleased with the work performed and the price, and I'll be calling Eric again for another cleaning and probably installation of gutter guards (for which he quoted what seems like a very reasonable price).

I called Eric Purdue to clean my gutters and he responded quickly, gave an estimate that was dead on and he was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Eric suggested gutter guards but wasn't pushy about it at all. He and his son did a wonderful job.

Eric did an exceptional job in cleaning gutters and downspouts, even removing decking that covered one downspout which was completely clogged. Eric also provided valuable information regarding replacing only gutters that actually needed replacing. He could have easily taken the opportunity to replace all of the gutters, but instead took the time to show me which areas needed replacing, saving me a lot of money.

Extremely pleased with Eric's work. We were considering other "gutter guard" options that were more expensive. Eric recommended lower costs screens that will work more effectively given slope of roof, etc. Additionally, he quickly identified and repaired several areas where water was overflowing the gutter. He provided a bid and then began work the next day. It was completed in one day. He completely cleaned up after his work and did a great job.

We have called Eric in the past. He has always done a great job. He shows up when he says he is going to. I do not have to be home when he comes, so I can mail him a check or leave it under the mat for him to take.

Though there was confusion as to my address (same street name but different neighborhood, clarify beforehand), he quickly looked the house over, presented options, discussed price impact of each option, and discussed willingness to come back (this was the estimate phase). However, I had him start right then and he was finished a few hours later. There was some minor debris left in the yard but nothing that would prevent my using/recommending his services.

Eric and his son came out the day after I called to inspect our gutters. I thought they would need to be replaced and had received quotes ranging from $1,300 to $5,000. Eric said my gutters were in good condition, cleaned them and then put screens on top and charged only $195.00. I was extremely pleased with his work and price and will definitely use him again for annual cleanings.

Mr. Purdue arrived when he said he would, and promptly went to work. The details of the work performed are described above. Mr. Purdue and his assistant performed the necessary work quickly but very thoroughly. As was my previous experience with him, Mr Purdue does a great job and goes "above and beyond" what you would expect him to do to clean up the area around the house before he leaves. Mr. Purdue and his assistant were very congenial, but got right to work.

In all the service was excellent. He and his son were very professional and completed the work very quickly. I appreciate that they didn't try to take advantage of me. I am a young single woman and this is my first home. He and his son explained what was done and why without talking down to me. I especially appreciated the fact that he took the initiative to just do the work while I was not there. It is often difficult to get work done around the house since I work during the day and far from my house. Excellent service and I will definitely use him again.

Despite some of the reports, Eric (and his son) were very responsive with follow-up calls and arranging a convenient time to come out to my house. Due to how full the gutters were, they had to clean the gutters by hand. They did an excellent job with the gutter cleaning, and with the cleanup afterwards. The yard was spotless, and they hauled off all the debris. They also cleaned off the entire driveway and front porch without having asked them to. They added a couple gutter spikes to re-hang the sagging gutters pulling away from the roof, and also repositioned the existing spikes to drive them into the studs rather than the fascia, as was originally done. They also cut back limbs hanging near or over the roof (after asking my permission first) and hauled that debris away too. Finally, they noticed one of the rubber boots around an attic vent had some dry-rot, and they re-sealed that one and the boots on the three other attic vents with sealant. They did way more than I asked.

Originally, I called Eric to look at gutter replacement or upgrading at my daughter's home in Norcross. She had dampness in the crawl space and was concerned about mold. Eric visited and suggested the gutters may be ok as-is. The recommendation was to first work around the foundation to divert water away from the house. His son, who apparently worked for Eric for some time, completed the work quickly and efficiently. We haven't had enough rain since the work was completed, but if that simple solution doesn't work, Eric will revisit and add additional downspouts. I was very impressed with his approach to the situation. Unlike most, he didn't move quickly to the highest-cost option, preferring instead to take an approach to do only what was necessary to correct the problem.

They did their work quickly and professionally. They also did a good job of cleaning up afterwards. They also indicated to me that treating the garage ceiling stains with a stain repellent product (Kilz) would help in determining in the future (after multiple rain events) if all water leaks had been sealed.

I read that Eric does very good work. He must be overwhelmed. I waited two weeks and no sign of him and no call. I called him back and left a message and I did not get a return call. I had to look for someone else.

He was a little hard to get ahold of at first. When we did he came out and did a great job. Very nice, very easy to talk to and very professional. I would recommend him.

This work and the clean-up of leaves from the roof that were around the house was very well done. I was very pleased with his work and with his pleasant and professional way of doing business. I will count myself as a regular customer of his.

The first time I called Eric, he was so swamped he couldn't work me in. After rereading his positive reports, I tried again and am very happy that I did. He got to my job in about a week and made it around to all four properties. He is a nimble roof athlete with a great eye for spotting problems with which he dispenses quickly and intelligently. He gave me a full verbal report and I rehired him to install screens. In addition to cleaning the gutters and installing screens he pruned overhanging branches and patched squirrel holes. I gave him carte blanche to take care of the job and he did. It is a treat to relax and know a job will be done correctly and efficiently without much ado.

I called to cancel the original time and we rescheduled for the next day. He did not come at the time he said he would. We called and left a message at his business number to see if he was coming. He called back to say that he was finishing lunch and would leave in about half an hour. An hour and a half later he still had not arrived and we called to cancel. Of course, he arrived just as we were ready to leave the house. He was apologetic and we had him clean the gutters and he said that he would call us and let us know if he saw anything else he thought needed to be addressed. We told him not to do anything but clean the gutters and that's all he did.

I agreed to meet Eric at my house at a particular time. He arrived at the agreed time and completed the job in a timely manner.
