Had what was supposed to be entirely new system (but they used the old pipes under the house). installed 4 years ago (2018). Since then have had to have them out each year due to moisture problems, condensation on floor vents, and leaking. Clogged drainage tube twice, ruined my floor twice. When called and worker sent out the worker did little to nothing but was still charged a service fee. After the fourth issue and the second time floors ruined we complained and upon receipt of our complaint they told us not to call them again and said they had blacklisted us. Would not recommend to anyone!

They showed up on time to do the estimate, install the service and finish when they said they would. They were friendly, professional and hard-working. If you are looking for a complete install at a fair price who show up when they are supposed to do then call the folks at Mountain Air.

They were very good, nice, they took care of everything. The price was a little too high. It cost me about $200 a year to keep it up, plus the filter, which is a little disappointing to me.

It was a very simple and easy fix but since we had no idea what the problem was they could have really cheated us and we would not have known. They fixed the system quickly and then performed a thorough check of the system. We will certainly call them next time and consider them a great find as the service industry is full of unqualified people.

I will never call any other company for HVAC again. You shouldn't either. Keith, the technician, just fixed our air conditioning. He was early, knew right away what was wrong and had it fixed and cooling more quickly than I ever expected. Keith was profession, friendly, pet friendly, and most importantly good at his job. I simply cannot say enough good things about this whole experience.

I would absolutely use them in the future.

A knowledgable tech arrived 1 hour late w/o calling to let me know of the delay. Tech was friendly and performed requested service in a professional manner. Was billed from the original appointment time to when he left (even though he was an hour late). Didn't receive Angies list coupon discount even after mentioning it several times. Called office about bill. They were courteous and corrected by bill for me and apologized.

Service was performed as scheduled. The removal of the old systems and the installation of the new systems and duct work went very well and without any problems incurred. One return trip was necessary to adjust the dampers in the ducts for better air distribution in our basement and the installation. The new systems are Trane high efficiency units with a SEER value rating of 15.5 SEER for the main living area and 15 SEER rating for the upstairs loft. We were hoping to see a decrease in our electric utility bill of approximately $40.00 a month and were very surprised to see an average of $52.00 a month decrease in our electric bill. We shopped other dealers in our area for quotes. Mountain Air & Heating was our choice based on speaking with other customers of theirs in the area and my conversation with the owner and service manager in their office. We are completely satisfied with or decision to use Mountain Air & Heating located in Clarkesville, Georgia based on their quote, quality of their work, professionalism, rapid response time, and would not hesitate to recommend this business to anyone interested in their services.

Our condensing unit failed in July 2012, with temperatures outside in approaching 100 degrees. Since I didn't have the funds at the time for a brand new unit, Mountain Air and Heat replaced it with a used unit a a very fair price to get me by. I understood that the unit could last 2 days, or it could last 5 years. Throughout this time they were very professional and understanding, and tried to work with me the best they could At the same time I asked them for a quote to replace with a new condensing unit, evaporator coil, heat strips, and to relocate my indoor return vents. Fast Forward to 2014 and the used unit failed. Mountain Heating and Air honored their original quote and on top of that they notified me of a rebate that I could get from my local EMC. The guys who came to do the install were accompanied by the business owner for quality control, and the final product is great. I will definitely use Mountain Air and Heat for all of my HVAC needs in the future.

The technician was prompt in keeping the appointed arrival time. He readily determined the problem and identified the part that had failed. The part that failed was approximately 2 months past the warranty date. The technician took the time to contact the manufacturer and requested a replacement part at no cost. The manufacturer granted the request and I did not have to pay for the part. The technician replaced the part and got the unit up and running. Costs related to the service call were comparable to others in the area but the customer service was excellent.

Called MA&H to see if they could repair my furnace in the midst of very cold weather, when I'm sure they were very busy. To my amazement, a repairman was at my home within an hour of my call. Repair was smooth, fast, friendly, and with an Angie's List discount, the price was awesome. I would highly recommend this company.

Everything went well. The technician was very knowledgeable and offered great advice on how to protect the unit from animals and from frost.

We were tired of winter electric bills of $600-$700 a month. After we complained to a friend he suggested we bite the bullet and do as he had by getting a combination gas/electric system with a high energy efficiency rating. He was very complimentary of the job Mountain Air had done for him the previous fall, but we got estimates from other local suppliers as well. Our house is built off the ground, on beams attached to poles, and its sides are basically a series of sliding glass doors, so we wanted to be sure our new system would be properly sized. Mountain Air was the only company that took the trouble to do an evaluation of the unusual particulars of our situation, including a detailed Residential Heat Loss and Heat Gain Calculation Report. They also gave us very specific written estimates of several systems they said would meet our requirements and answered our questions without steering us to the most expensive choice. Plus they helped us find an excellent company to clean our filthy ductwork. Their estimate included re-insulating and sealing the ductwork, which they agreed was in basically good condition, new thermostat, all the wiring, gas line tank to furnace, all labor, material equipment and taxes, as well as the first two maintenance visits and the warranty. They ended up having to be creative in finding a spot for and tying in an additional return, but they kept to their estimate and even made an extra trip to activate the programmable feature on the thermostat after we changed our mind about wanting it. Every single person they sent to our house was professional in dress and demeanor and seemed sincerely interested in doing a top-notch job for us. This has carried through to their twice yearly maintenance visits. Meanwhile we are a lot more comfortable year round and are saving significantly even considering the new expense for propane. Note that Mountain Air & Heat's address and phone have recently changed. They are now located at 4815 Hwy 115, 2 miles west of Clarkesville. They are the same company that was formerly at 198 Builders Pkwy, Cornelia and, I believe, 198 Springbrook Dr, also in Cornelia. Several online sources still show an old address. Their phone numbers have also changed, to 706 754-0075; Fax 706 754-0125. Note also that although Angie's shows our address as a vacation home, it is in fact and always has been our primary residence. My initial contact with Angie's List was made from my mother's home near Jacksonville, Florida, so I may have given some confusing information in an attempt to cover two bases at once!

We have them do all of our work. I will use them again in the future.
