Chimney Chasers performed a level II fireplace and chimney inspection for a real estate sale and also swept the chimney for the quoted price. No surprises or upcharges. The gentleman was a pleasure to work with and everything was left clean and tidy! I would definitely recommend Chimney Chasers!

Barry arrived with a helper and did an outstanding job. They were clean and neat and quite professional. They checked my dryer vent as well and removed a small blockage. They did not charge for the dryer vent as it did not need a complete cleaning. Honest, Christian and outstanding!

Barry, the owner of the company came out to do a chimney and fireplace inspection. I just purchased a house and wanted to make sure everything was in good condition. He was punctional, professional and on time. Inspected everything. He was very honest and advised me that nothing needed to be repaired. He cleaned up after himself, lit the fire to make sure everything was fine. Went up on the roof to check from there. He was very knowledgable and made sure I understood how everything works.

First, for gutter cleaning, does not use a schedule or quote a price. Puts you on a list and calls on his way. He called and and left a voice mail saying on his way. A little while later a woman called and said it was too cold! She said that he just couldn't call me and tell me so she said she would. THEN she said that they were booked solid and offered to find someone else for me! I told her that I did not want her to do anything for me!

Have used this company before and always receive excellent service. They checked the chimney and gas fireplace. Advised us gas logs in fireplace were old and shouldn't be used. Also cleaned out gutters. Very thorough, friendly and professional.

Very well, we had to pay extra for him to come back and rotoroot a downspout that we noticed was clogged, apparently that was not covered in the routine cleaning of the gutters. Our call was returned promptly, very honest and upfront, would use again.

They did an excellent job. Their prices were really good. They were professional and punctual. The people I interacted with were very nice and informative especially when we asked questions as regards to options. They recommended providers and gave us an estimate. The one thing that I liked was that they did cleaned up mess.

They did a great job. He showed up at the exact time he said he would. The job costs exactly what he said it would. He did a good job, thorough, cleaned up after himself. All the debris and stuff that came out of the gutters he cleaned it all out. The placement is good. When he left it looked as good as it did when he showed up and he was friendly. It went very well, they were professional, and provided good tips

I asked him to check the flue on the chimney because it was stuck open and could not be closed. He looked and found a metal piece designed to keep the flue open and told me that it was a common thing. He removed the piece and instructed me to always be sure to open the flue when I wanted to use the fireplace. He showed me how to open and close it. There was nothing else required on the fireplace. He quoted me $150.00 to clean the gutters and I agreed and asked him how much for the chimney. Since he spent all of 3 minutes on that, he shrugged and said $25.00.He did very good job of cleaning the gutters and I was pleased enough with his debris clean-up. He quoted prices for some additional work on the chimney exterior. Other quotes for the same work are much lower and I won't be using this company for that work. After the gutter cleaning, I was told that future cleanings would be higher; that he hadn't charged me enough for the job. I have never paid that much in the past for gutter cleaning and will not be calling this company in the future for gutter cleaning. I've given an overall B, because the work was very satisfactory, but grumbling about his own price turned me off.

From the first call to the completion of the job the experience was excellent. Barry called to discuss the job and set up a time. He called prior to arrival to let me know he was on his way. He did a great job cleaning out the gutters and also found that I had some shingles that had blown off during one of the storms. He was able to replace those for me. He could not have been more polite or more professional. I will definitely recommend him and use Chimney Chasers again.

Arrived right on time. Did a good job cleaning the gutters. Picked up and disposed of all debris. The cost did go up $25 over what was quoted on the phone due to the steepness and size of our roof. Would use again.

My house is 35 years old and the chimney had never been cleaned. Through my research, I knew I wanted a chimney sweep who was certified with Chimney Safety Institute of America. I joined Angie's List to find one. I also had concerns about the possibility of chimney leaks causing water to go into a crawl space area of the basement. I found Chimney Chasers on Angie's List. Barry also offers other services. He cleaned the chimney and installed a new chimney pan. He took care of removing a large amount of lent from the dryer vent. He removed leaves in the gutters, and caulked areas of the gutters that I knew were leaking. He tuck pointed areas of need on the chimney. Over the 3 visits to do all the service needs I had, I found Barry to be respectful and kind. His language is clean and he is a gentleman. I had never met Barry when I contacted his business. I now highly recommend him.

Weather postponed the service but we received calls to inform us and to reschedule the appointment. Services were exceptional.

Barry was friendly, communicative and professional. He arrived on time and parked his truck thoughtfully, considering the parking area for these condos. He explained that the flue might have problems due to age; however, he was pleasantly surprised that all was well! A home inspection report had indicated problems with the firebox. On the phone, Barry projected the cost to repair would be $365 based on the report; however, upon his examination he explained that the inspector's observed cracks were superficial and repair/replacement was not required. He told me how to paint the screen and back walls for appearance. He charged for the chimney cleaning only, as quoted on the phone when I called for his services. He provided a great deal of information along with a chimney cleaning.

It went great. The cost was really, really reasonable. They did a great job. There were no problems.

They came out and they were very polite. They estimated the job for me. I have not decided yet whether I’m going to have it done or not. I thought they were very well versed in their business and they were very professional. It was just that they gave me news that I wasn’t expecting. They told me that the chimney is not in good shape so they told me that it had to be rebuilt. They pointed out everything to me and I understand that. They were very quick. They got back to me within a day. They were actually early.

Problem fixed. Would definitely recommend Chimney Chasers. They responded quickly .Barry showed up at the appointed time. He was articulate, explaining what he saw and the problem. He even took pictures of the top of the chimney, to show me what it looked like before and after he worked on it.
