You Move Me

Description of Work: The owner, Rob, returned my phone call within an hour. He was not far from me and wanted to see the place I was moving out of (an apartment with stairs) to the home I was moving into (with a steep slope) in order to give me the most accurate estimate. I was available and within half an hour he arrived and he looked at both locations (fairly close to each other). I was promised a not-to-exceed amount and that there would be a sizable truck with three men. The day of the move, they were a little early and had two trucks and four men. They had come from another job, but I was immediately told there was no extra charge for the fourth man or use of the second truck if it was necessary. It was not because Rob knew how to gauge the move successfully. No dings, no scratches, and a load-in to the new place that took about 30 minutes. To clarify, I only had them move larger furniture pieces and boxes that were pre-packed by me. There was no packing of dishes or anything else that they did. Between my careful packing and their careful handling of boxes, nothing was broken. I can't speak to recent service, but two years ago, this company was excellent and I suspect it still is. Rob was great and seems to be genuinely interested in customer satisfaction.

Description of Work: Moved my father from his house to a retirement community.

Description of Work: Moved all of the larger items and furniture from our previous residence to our new home. Both homes are approximately 1,800sf and one level with few stairs.
