Design Transitions

The rep did a wonderful job evaluating the spaces and suggesting color and design ideas. We used the exactly color palette she recommended and the rooms look great! We'll be finishing the rest of the rooms using her excellent ideas and suggestions and expect equally beautiful results. Thank you!

There is so much to do that we scheduled another appointment. In fact, I need an organizer and Susan recommended a person who also helps her.

Late for first appointment. Failed to follow-up due to illness then post-poned, then out of touch. I was very disappointed because Susan knew this was time sensitive and wasn't honest about her inability to provide.

I was pleased with Susan's taste - simple but tasteful. She and her sister were here for more than a full day. She also set up my dining room table for a luncheon I was about to have in the next few days and gave me some great suggestions on how to ensure everything went smoothly. I hired Susan without seeing any photo's of her work. I think it would be helpful for her to post photo's of her completed decorating jobs on line.

Susan was incredibly helpful. She works in the WNC area several days a week; she was quick to work me in at my convenience. She's friendly and efficient. Susan not only has training and experience in decorating and staging, she worked as a general contractor for a number of years, so her suggestions reflect a broad base of knowledge. Am hoping to use her for more decorating advice and also kitchen remodel planning.

It worked out great. She was very helpful and also made some great suggestions which was well worth the money. I used her around October 11th and I spent about $125. She helped with color choices and furniture placement. She was a real out-of-the-box thinker.

Susan greatly exceeded my expectations of how much could be accomplished in two hours. She offered many great ideas. For example, one of my biggest challenges was to determine how to decorate a large wall in the double height living room. Susan offered an ingenious idea that didn't even consider on my own. Another example is that Susan re-positioned one of the chairs. I knew it was a success when my husband (who typically rarely sat on the chair before) situated himself there for a few hours this evening with a book and a drink. Susan also mentioned several good resources as well as local contacts. It was time and money very well spent. Susan would be great to work with on future projects.

She is in constant contact with you and is extremely responsive. She has a great eye for design and offered the best suggestions. I really enjoyed our time.

We discussed sofa arrangements in my great room. I was given a written design and shopping list for future purchases. Was friendly, professional, and listened to my concerns. I'm not interested in the package design plan, but might hire on an hourly basis.

Susan was on time, professional, and very informative. She brought paint samples,etc. It was very productive to say the least. She was very knowledgeable about the style of our home, and she helped us pull together some really good ideas. We would like to work with her again in the future!

Susan was a joy to meet and brainstorm interior design/decorating needs for my home. She is very talented and offered a number of suggestions to enhance my current decor without rushing out and buying brand new items for every room. I especially liked that she is willing and eager to repurpose items you already have. We chose interior paint colors, discussed new sofa ideas, rug placement, window treatment retrofitting and accessory placement too. I hope to work with Susan in the near future and would definitely recommend her and her enormous talent.

It was absolutely perfect; she saved my life.She helped hang pictures, stage and move furniture for me. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is getting ready to stage their home.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was okay. We played phone tag but it was my fault. She was good with what she did but we had different ideas and different thought processes. I might use them again.

Susan met with me in my condo to help me pick out a new paint color for my living room. I don't have a good eye for colors when I've tried to pick ones out on my own and was really looking for professional advice to meet my goal for the room. All I knew was that I wanted a lighter color as my living room was currently a darker brown and I wanted a brighter/lighter look. I had no idea other than that but she patiently walked me though options that would brighten the room as well as match my decor which I didn't want to have to change out. She picked out the perfect light blue/gray color that both complemented my decor and achieved my goal of a brighter room. I am so happy with the end result.

I called Susan to set up a appointment ,she was super nice on the phone.She asked me some questions on what I hoped for during her visit. After we talked she gave me a little homework for me to do before she came out to the house. Susan was rite on time.Let me tell you she really earned her money with me! I needed help placing furniture and pictures. Susan really got her hands dirty we were moving all kinds of furniture,we even got some things out of the basement !Before Susan left she gave me some really good tips on decorating that I have put in to place.Having Susan come out to the house really kick started me,I would definitely have her out again.Well worth the 125.00 :]

Ms. Jones is very attentive and made some good suggestions. She's a big believer in Home Depot products and services. I am not so much impressed with HD. Chose other providers.

I bought the coupon for 2 hours worth of services from owner Susan Jones. I have to say she was absolutely wonderful! Susan arrived on time. She gave me suggestions on paint color for various rooms in my home. Susan also helped me arrange a couple pieces of furniture and gave me advice on how to arrange my future furniture purchases. I really enjoyed working with her and will use her in the future.

I purchased a Design coupon for a friend as a Xmas gift to help him decide on paint colors and minor renovations to his home. Susan was remarkable. She is a true design expert that gave us 2 hours of continuous advice that will save my friend money, time and frustration with his projects. Susan was very down to earth, you can see she has experience working within your budget. My friend thought he would be intimidated and asked me to be there when she arrived but when she started advising him he became very comfortable as she understands her clients and individuals who are clueless about design. She came up with some very affordable solutions and helped him but together a timeframe for his renovation. This was one of the best investments I could have made as she gave us every minute of the two hours I paid for. I would highly recommend Susan to anyone doing renovations as I'm sure she will have suggestions to help you save money.

She was very nice and arrived on time. Her suggestions were ok but I did not feel like I got my monies worth. I think if you had a full decorating job that she would be good to work with. She listened to what I had to say and did not try to impose her point of view.

Susan arrived promptly at 11 to begin our two hours of time together. I wanted her to help me figure out how to update my rooms, arrange for maximum space, pick paint colors, and determine where to start. I can't do everything I want to at one time, so she helped me priortize and create a to do list. She has excellent ideas and suggestions for doing things without spending a fortune. I was feeling overwhelmed before she arrived, not knowing where to start and by the time she left I felt great, knowing what to tackle first and how to go about it. I will be hiring her again to help me implement the things we discussed and would highly recommend her to anyone.
