Response from Design Transitions
Reviews are always helpful for all parties involved. However, a little background information would have been insightful prior to the review alone. This Atlanta client wanted to try a California based window treatment workroom that neither of us had experience in utilizing. They were informed that Design Transitions would try them out, passing on a trade discount gifted to them as compensation for a "learning curve" in experiencing a new workroom, especially so far away. Design Transitions made no guarantee on quality, timeliness, etc. that would normally be given with local tried and true workrooms that were a bit more expensive; everyone agreed to "give it a go". In all fairness, the delivery delays were not entirely the fault of the company but a combined issue of the homeowners' direct correspondence to the installer and their extended travel schedule disallowing for delivery/installation. We all learn valuable lessons in such endeavors; the Designer IS responsible and in the end, the delivery and installation were accomplished, but only after hundreds of hours of phone calls and emails were made by Design Transitions, at no charge. It is indeed unfortunate that all involved parties remain dissatisfied.
