Excellent, Keith showed up on time, explained each step in the process and was an excellent guest in our home. I would highly recommend his company to anyone. I have contracted him to do another job in our home.

I contacted several contractors to see about having some dead space above our kitchen cabinets transformed into storage space. The project involved demolition of the existing lath and plaster soffits, and then framing out the new "cubby holes.". Two contractors came out to look at the project and offer a quote. One e-mailed the quote to the wrong e-mail address. I hired Keith (I eventually got back in touch with the other contractor and it turned out that he had pretty much quoted the same price). Keith showed up promptly each morning and got the job done in about 4 days. He has a great deal of experience (30+ years) which was probably useful for our project since he wasn't thrown off course by with issues arising from the fact that most things in our holder house are not true and square (e.g., the ceiling line). He was also able to offer suggestions as to design so as to fit in with the existing esthetic of our kitchen. Anyway, the end result looks quite nice. He is not a painter, so if your project involves painting, as our's did, you will need to arrange for that separately.

I appreciate the review and look forward to any other work that may need attention.*I do offer painting services, both inside and out; but the owner stated he had a painter that had painted the cabinets previously and he would call them back to complete the work. I did skim the space between the ceiling and the framed stiles; as there was a change in elevation in the ceiling from 3/4" to nothing in 8' on either end. I had wanted to install crown bed-molding, but it would not have looked as nice as the option we took. I filled the gap with 1 heavy coat of drywall mud. It will dry and shrink a bit; and the painting group can complete that work. It now matches the clean modern look they already had.

It went exceptionally well and was replaced in less than 2 days by a roof with 30 year architectural shingles. What's more, it was replaced for $13,341.00 less than the payout on my insurance claim. And I was very satisfied with the cleanup afterwards.

Thanks for taking the time to put in this review. What I think she was meaning to say, was that we replaced the roof for less than she was given from the insurance company; with an updated system than what they used when the house was built, a better shingle and to current codes and systems.

Within 3 weeks of meeting with the insurance adjuster, I had a new roof installed with 30 year architectural shingles. Atlanta Custom Construction made sure that my roof was up to code and made the repairs to the short cuts that were made by the original builder. They came when they promised to and completed the job in 2 days. And more importantly, the cleanup was completed to my satisfaction. What's more, I got a new roof without any out of pocket expenses. I was able to get this 30 year roof for less than the amount paid out by the Insurance company.
Description of Work: I called my insurance company, USAA and submitted a claim after my roof sustained storm damage. Keith Tindle They approved the claim, and recommended Atlanta Custom Construction to replace my roof.

I was seriously worried after going into my crawlspace to find that my shower had been leaking into the subfloor. Once I called Keith at ACC, the situation was under control very quickly. He was able to do the work efficiently for a very fair price, and I'm extremely happy with the results. Not only did he replace the water damaged subfloor, reinforce it and the shower drain area substantially, and give me the piece of mind the the entire shower substrate (membrane, wet bed, etc) are now done well and will not cause problems again -- he also did a great job with the finished tile work, so that I now like the style of my tile shower better than I did before the work was done. I strongly recommend him as a reliable and knowledgeable contractor. This is the second time I've hired him, and I will definitely do so again in the future when the need arises. Hopefully next time it will be strictly for improvements vs. serious repairs!

I had talked with a few companies, and wasn't able to find anyone that had a solution that met all of my desired characteristics until I talked to Keith at ACC. He worked with me and came up with a great solution. He was always on time, communicated well, and did a great job on the project. It definitely shows that he is skilled and cares about his work. I will certainly hire him again for my next project.
Description of Work: I needed some unusual work done -- on my screened-in porch, the previous owners had installed antique metal frame windows as skylights. They were leaking and not effective in the capacity in which they were being used, and I wanted to find a solution that would retain the antique look, work with the lightweight metal roof on the porch, and be watertight and durable.

Keith listened to what we were looking for. He ensured that all our requirements were understood and explained the pros and cons of every potential choice. He was very detailed oriented. He is very patience! His handiwork was amazing- the back-splash was perfect. Price was reasonable for the job done. We would definitively hire Keith again.

It went incredibly well. As with all substantial projects, we ran into issues, decided to make changes, and experienced supplier delays. Keith was incredibly prompt each day and went right to work. In the end, we got exactly what we were seeking and would not hesitate to work with him again. Keith began by getting the necessary permit for himself and the sub-contractors he used for electrical and plumbing. We were especially desirous of this because the city where we live is rigorous in their code enforcement and as it turned out, very helpful. Once he was legal, he spent several days demolishing every bit of the old bathroom. We then began finalizing the ideas we had in mind since we could more accurately measure for the layout & amenities we desired. He explained at each step of the way what he would be doing, how it ought to go, and how long it would take, paint drying, drywall, and the like. Once we were settled in our plan for the new space, his plumber and electrician both promptly showed up and roughed in the locations for their relevant contributions. From here, he began building the new space. Among the items we desired was to replace the swinging door with a pocket door. This was roughed in soon after demolition as the wall framing was exposed. He then began to build the frame for the new shower and subsequently finished the hall closet from which we'd taken space. We'd hoped to leave a bit of the master closet but that could not be done without compromising on the larger shower so we gave it up and have since built Ikea closets which give us much more closet space than we'd had before all the work Keith did. Once framing was complete, Keith began the significant amount of tile installation needed for the shower stall and the bathroom floor. When this was done, he turned his attention back to adding additional coats of paint to the sheetrock walls and ceiling in the bathroom and master where he'd had to remove sheetrock to get at the framing of the space. After this, he assembled and installed tall cabinets, a vanity with drawers and sink, and a medicine cabinet with light purchased from Ikea. While we were at it, we decided to replace the the very leaky and impossible to clean louvered windows in this bathroom and our hall bathroom. Keith took care of this with apparent ease and we now have windows that let in light, and are easy to open & shut. These windows are high up on the wall and let in wonderful light. He then got his sub-contractors back in to finish their work which they did in short order. The only unexpected expense in this was the city's requirement that have hard wired smoke alarms that also detect CO. This, we later found out is a state requirement any time electrical work is done to a home that is not up to date as ours was. We had battery operated ones which can now be retired next time I paint the spaces where they are mounted around the house. The new ones, while hard wired, do have a battery in each to back them up. They are also connected to each other so if one goes off, all go off. The electrician gave us electrical outlets where we wished them, installed lights in the shower and main bathroom area, and a light over the medicine cabinet. The one in the shower has a moisture sensor and when it is turned on, will run until the sensor no longer detects moisture to the setting we've set. It has worked a treat which will go far in preventing mold and other moisture related problems when the shower is not in use. We chose to completely enclose it to enjoy steam generated. The plumber did a superb job of installing the two shower outlets we purchased. One is a large rainfall shower head and the other is wall mounted on a sliding rail and can be taken in hand to direct the stream where one will. These can be used together, though pressure suffers, or individually via a nifty push button control mechanism. While we were at it, we also had the plumber replace the aging toilets in both bathrooms with very nice skirted models that only use 1 gallon per flush. They work incredibly well, especially when you consider how little water they use. The last thing that was done, making the bathroom fully functional, was the installation of a glass partition and glass door. After this, Keith was meticulous about touching up cosmetic and other minor issues that he or we noticed leading up to our final settlement with him. I offer two photos of the completed work, though I am not an especially good photographer. I hope they are sufficient for everyone to understand the work that was done. I have many before, during, and after photos that I will gladly share if desired. The initial estimate Keith offered was $18,000.00 and the difference was this combination of items: the required electrical upgrade with the alarms, the glass for the shower which we had no way of knowing the cost of prior to finalizing our dimensions and design decisions after demolition, and a bit of extra cost for tile. All of it was reasonable, and we'd discussed the probability of extra cost when we negotiated the initial estimate with him.
Description of Work: We wished to completely demolish the master bath and its tiny shower to the studs, take space from the already insufficient master bedroom closet and an over-large hall closet to enlarge the shower.

This is the third job that I've had done with Keith (Atlanta Custom Construction) and I've been very pleased with the quality of the work. This time around I had the entire kitchen gutted including floors, cabinets, counter tops and painting as well as the bathroom. He removed all the cabinets and painted the walls, put the cabinets together and installed them, put in a over the range microwave where before we had it on the counter top. He built a counter top bar that was also new for us and I love it. Installed the flooring throughout the kitchen and bathroom. Painted all the doors to the pantry, bathroom and garage entrance. Installed a new toilet, vanity and lighting fixtures in the bathroom. When it's time to remodel the 2 full baths upstairs I will definitely call Keith when I'm ready. I've attached a few pictures of the kitchen.

This was the second time that I've used Keith Tindle/ATlanta Custom Construction and I could not be happier with the work performed and look of it once it was complete. He was very detailed about the work and explained everything to me as he was working. It took 2 weeks to complete the whole process and it's was well worth the wait. He also had to do some siding repair as well. I plan to use him a third time for some kitchen renovations.

Keith has an eye for detail, and it shows in his work. The previous owners of our house had performed a botched renovation on the master bathroom, so Keith had his work cut out for him just in correcting prior issues. The bathroom is now 90% complete, and we couldn't be happier with the result. Keith showed up promptly every day, working many hours at a time. The photos attached to this review are without the shower door, which is still in transit; I will update the photos once this has been installed.
