Removed two tall Ga Pine Trees from my backyard. They had to lower the chain link fence to do so, and drive behind the property to get to the trees. We had a lot of rain, and the truck got stuck, which delayed the job by a few hours. After the trees were felled, they rushed to get done by 5 pm. The chain link fence was not put together properly, my husband had to redo the top posts on two sections of the chain link, and then the stump grinding. They left most of the shavings from the stump grinds, and then there was a huge root left for us to get rid of that should have been part of the job. Nice people and all, just not pleased with the job for the price. Going to call someone else next time for any other tree work I need done

I called this service 3 times to come and give me an estimate. My first call was 3 weeks ago. Same female answers phone... takes number and says someone will call me back. Havent heard a word from anyone. I am pleased that this place has too much work to handle. i will take my money elsewhere...

It went great. Allen felled the trees with no problem and ground the stumps and removed all the debris. Excellent job.

Well Allen came out to give me a quote to remove a huge oak tree that had fallen in my backyard. He came out while I was at work and looked at the tree, he came back out a second time when I was here and quoted me a price and we signed an agreement. At which time I brought up my concern of getting such a heavy tree up my steep driveway (because another service I had contacted brought it up to me) he said he wouldn't b a problem. Maybe a cpl weeks went by and I had to contact him to c when he would b doing the work at which time he voiced his concern about getting the tree out of the yard since driveway was so steep and so on and since he had to go a different route he was upping the price another $400 to $500 more!! I told him the tree hasn't grown, nothing was "unforeseen" when he quoted the original price of $675 and he should honor our agreement. He said he just couldn't do it for that. I will NEVER recommend him nor use him for ANYTHING. He kept saying he had 40 years experience in which I respond with "then u should know how to quote a job"....just saying. I ended up waiting for him to contact me to resolve this issue and keep his word and honor our contract for a month and he never did.

It was an imminent danger because it was falling on the neighbor's property. They came really promptly and took care of it very well. I was really pleased with how well they did it. This was the first time I used them. They called back promptly, came out and gave me a quote straight away. They were ready to do the job really quickly because the other companies couldn't come till the next week and they came straight away. I thought they did a very good job. Compared to other quotes they were good priced too.

Request for estimate provided quickly. Called if delayed. Gave me an estimate of several weeks before work could be done, but came in less than a week. Tree removed quickly from back yard, had to move tree material as equipment could not get to the back. Work done rapidly, clean up very good. Some damage to a cherry tree but the limbs were intertwined.

The gentleman that came out to clear the branches was very friendly and professional. He surveyed the damage and got right to work. Great job!!

Everyone that I dealt with from Allen's Tree Service was polite, professional, friendly, and prompt. I spoke with Mr. Allen several times regarding the work I wanted done. We met and he gave me a quote. When I talked with him about the price, he was willing to negotiate something that was workable for me. Once the price was agreed upon, he told me he would have the work accomplished within a 3 week period. He did not want to select a specific date as the weather had been "iffy" for that type of work...rainy one day, freezing the next, sunny the day after. True to his word, he was at my home in less than 2 weeks time. The crew he brought did a phenomenal job! I met them at 10:15 and stayed at my home about 30 minutes before heading back to work. I stopped back by about 2 hours later and they had all the trees cut down and had all the limbs removed from the large pine tree. They worked so fast!! When I returned home for work at 3:30, they were working on cleanup. I was so amazed at how efficient they were and the guys were so kind to my younger son who was watching them work. One gentleman, operating a large claw machine that dropped the logs and yard debris into a truck, slowed down long enough to wink at him and tell my son that these were "big boy toys!" My husband returned home from work at about 5:20 while I was doing the final walk around the yard looking at all that had been accomplished. My husband saw one large limb that he really wanted removed, so despite being cleaned up and ready to go, the crew set to work cutting down the limb without batting an eye. Now THAT is service!! Once all work was complete, they checked to be sure we were happy with what had been done and said that was the most important thing to them - our satisfaction with the job accomplished. My husband and I are extremely happy with the work done and the crew who performed it. I can honestly say that this team is top notch and I would not hesitate to call them for another job. Do yourself a favor...if you need tree service, call Allen's first and you'll avoid all hassles and headaches!

They cut down several trees and ground the stumps. Some were beside the drive way and some in the back yard. They were professional, prompt, and did a good job.

Mr. Allen and his crew removed 7 trees for me and did it in a very professional way. They were prompt and cleaned up after they wer e through. Was very pleased with their service and will use them again if the need arrives.

They did a great job. From the beginning to then end did what they said. They did not leave junk around. I felt like they did an honest job for a fair price. We did have to wait a while for them to come but that is because of their good reputation and following a bad storm. They were very professional.

They came on a day when we had had a lot of rain, and in order to trim our tree, they had to bring in a bucket loader. However, that piece of equipment left some pretty bad ruts in our yard, and it took over a month for them to respond to our complaint – they obviously didn’t want to do it. Finally, they sent someone out to fix those ruts, which were about 5-6 inches deep. They admitted that they probably shouldn’t have come into that yard with that piece of equipment when the ground was so saturated. They did a good job in terms of cutting the tree down, but they left a lot of debris in the yard that they didn’t pick up. They also left big clots of mud in the driveway and into the street; I called and complained about that mess and they sent someone out the next day to clean that uu. It took them 6 hours to hose the driveway down and the street down. All of this should have been done before they left, but it was a Friday, and by the time they got the trees trimmed, it was after 5, and frankly, I don't think they wanted to stay after 5pm on a Friday afternoon.

We had a great experience. Mr Allen came out personally, provided us with the information we needed. His crew arrived on time, removed the two trees, ground the stumps, and cleaned up. The whole time was about 2 hours. We are very pleased with the service and the price.

iT WENT WELL, THEY DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB ONCE THEY STARTED....IT TOOK A FEW DAYS FOR THEM TO RESPOND AFTER MY INITIAL CALL TO THEM....I HAD TO CALL TWO MORE TIMES AFTERWARDS..........THEY DID NOT HONOR THE 5 OR 10 PERCENT COUPON ADVERTISED IN ANGIES LIST..........THEY WERE VERY QUICK IN REMOVING TREE, STUMP AND ROOTS, LESS THAN 3 HOURS.............WAS NOT PLEASE WITH THE MARKS LEFT IN THE ROAD FROM ONE OF THEIR MACHINES......LOOKS LIKE A FEW MOTORCYCLES WERE DOING WHEELIES.

It was great. The company sent their workers, one in the truck to trim this tree then three guys came to cut up and mulch the branches. Cleaned up the mess totally and even cut some of the huge limbs for firewood. They were great. A bit pricey but not a job I could have done myself. And the tree seems to be doing very well. Full of leaves and will be great this summer for shade.

They called and asked to come a couple of days early. This was no problem for me as I was ready to get the job done. They arrived exactly on time and were very attentive to what I was needing accomplished.

Mr. Allen's crew worked very quickly and professionally. Removed the tree in sections and carried off all debris. The crew then fired up the stump grinder and removed the complete stump and major exposed roots. Since I planned to add soil and replant the area with sod, the crew scooped up all of stump chippings and hauled that away as well. When the crew left one could hardly tell a tree ever existed on the spot. Outstanding work.

The work they did was great and the pricing was comparable. Their clean up was fantastic and they left the yard looking as if they had never been there. The way they do their appointments is a little awkward in that they don't actually set specific appointments ahead of time, they basically ahead and ask for a day that would be preferable rather than giving you a set appointment.

I was amazed at how they cut the trees and had them fall the way they wanted them too. We had used them before. Mr. Allen actually comes out and looks at what you want done and does the quote. It is more personalized and he sends the right amount of people. He sent a bunch of people with all of his equipment. So that he could have it done as quickly as possible. He treats you like family; you call his number and usually get his machine. His secretary will call you back right away and says he will be calling me to set up date and time. They do it within a couple of hours. They cleaned up everything. They came out the same day.

He was prompt and very professional.

He charges a bit more but he takes care of stuff. His price is worth it.

They would get top notch grades and this person has serviced my yard for 40 years. I trust him and his staff. He knows what he is doing and sees that the tree he is cutting does not damage the house or the property.
